This is a lovely hotel/wine resort in the countryside. Our room was a one bedroomed apartment in the old main building, with kitchenette for 4 people. It was very beautiful - a big living area with sofa beds, dining table and kitchenette and a very big separate bedroom. The stone ceilings are beautiful. The swimming pool area is amazing and so very relaxing. We have Italian friends who live nearby (Lido Silvana) and we booked a table at the restaurant for 11 of us. The food was delicious, great wine and the service fantastic. And the dining tables were set in the beautiful courtyard full of flowers. Lovely! Breakfast was good and served in the pool bar with lot’s of choice, cakes, cheeses, cold meats and fruit and a cooked breakfast menu (additional cost). We found our 2 night stay very relaxing, surrounded by nature (and wine!) and we will definitely be back!
There wasn’t anything negative at all. A very minor thing - a kettle or coffee machine/espresso pot in the room would be nice (but maybe that’s a British thing!!). A few more glasses and cups and some tea towels - but I’m sure these would have been supplied by the lovely helpful staff if we had asked!

Staff very kind and helpful. Lovely facilities and garden, in a quiet location, cooler than the surrounding area due to the pine trees

The entire property is magnificent - with the courtyard evening restaurant ( and its food) and the almost brand new pool area just perfect.
Special mention for Viviana who helped us endlessly when we had our hire car break and needed to communicate with the company. she also bought us sunscreen because we ran out and had no way of getting it without a car!
The ONLY I could fault is the noise of the next door room’s toilet flushing - but once you’ve heard it once it doesn’t bother you!

Peaceful location with good proximity to the beach.
I felt the facilities here are leveraged in to running an entertainment venue, rather than a focusing on running a first rate hotel. I was kept up by loud music (girls just wanna have fun at 1am on a Sunday night) on two of my four nights here. For instance an anaesthetically attractive pool which the hotel does it's best to discourage guests from using - charging for sun lounger use, and making guest wear plastic caps while swimming. Pools are for hotel guests to enjoy, not simply to attract large events. This is false advertising. The priorities are wrong; one poor member of staff serving eight breakfast tables after this marriage event - after 30 minutes wait i got up and left.

Staff was helpful with our cancellation, Masseria is beautiful, a pity that the rest is so bad and not like showed here on booking. They could really do something amazing out of this place.
We arrived quite late in the night and staff welcomed us nicely. The cottage was quite shocking cause it reminded us of a really bad school trip. Bed was the most uncomfy we have ever slept in, back pain is included in the price. The rooms smelled of insect spray which was not nice. We directly decided to ask for a refund as we would have stayed 3 nights and left after 1 night. The staff was very nice and gave us a refund but overall really unfair to not show the reality. Also not close to the beach.
