Great location, but over priced and not the relaxing atmosphere we were after.

Great location, modern and clean. Staff super friendly and good selection at breakfast.

Unless you went to the pool as soon as it opened, you wouldn’t get a lounger. The beach was so rammed it’s in no way relaxing (not the ‘private beach’ as described). Also literally next to a nightclub which meant we were woken up every day at 5am with drunk people shouting and singing!

Fantastic experience would highly recommend

Great location and staff very friendly and attentive to our needs. Right next to beautiful little beach and walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Renata on front desk helped us with beach chair rental, restaurants, boat rental and even ice for our Posip!

Great location, wonderful happy staff, excellent breakfast and lovely room

The location of this hotel is perfect. Our room had a wonderful view of the harbour and a wonderful view of the beach to the side of the hotel. The staff are wonderful, special mention to the lovely cleaning ladies, the reception staff (especially Renata), the happy and friendly breakfast staff, the chefs who make wonderful omlettes and the lovely waiter at lunchtime in the restaurant (the salads are so tasty). It is easy to walk round the harbour and up to the old town where there are many lovely restaurants (the hotel will recommend). We took the catamaran to Bol one day and went to the Golden Horn beach. We were given a kettle to use in the room. The hotel is not too big and very clean. We didn't use the pool as loved swimming in the sea. Would highly recommend.

We would have liked a shower, although the bath did have a spray. You can on some nights hear some music from the club on the beach from 11.00pm to 3.00 am but we had read this and took good earplugs so it didn't bother us. Likewise, there are sometimes loud party boats in the harbour but didn't mind, nice to hear people having fun. Would recommend the hotel

Wonderful Hotel

One of the most magical locations I have ever encountered. A stunning bay on the Adriatic at the foot of Biokova mountain. The mountain is as beautiful as Yosemite. Hotel Osejava is at the peaceful end of the bay with a beach a few steps from the lobby. The views of the Adriatic, the town of Makarska, the marina and of course Biokova mountain are incredible. The sunsets are awesome. The hotel is beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff is delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. I have stayed twice and recommend it highly.

Excellent location near beach and center. Beautifull view from my room. Room had a view on twu sides, one on open seas and second on the city and marina. Even though I stayed in off-season, the breakfast was good.

Everything was ok. I will gladly stay in the same hotel again.

Loved it

This hotel was in a brilliant location, near the centre and there is a beach close by ( 3 minutes walk). We used the pool for sunbathing and the beach to swim, it was perfect for us. Breakfast area had such a beautiful view and good selection of fruit. We had a sea view room with a balcony, it was like being in Monte Carlo.

Loved it x beautiful boutique style hotel in a great position

Breakfast was continental with choice . Only thing was we realised on last day there was a option of omelette which we weren’t told about , the fried eggs were always a little undercooked !

Loved this hotel, unexpectedly good and we will definitely be back

The location was outstanding, this was our first time to Makarska and the hotel was at the end of the beautiful harbour with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were really helpful and the open air breakfast terrace was a real surprise, stunning views, really good selection of fresh food each morning and nothing was too much trouble....great omlettes too, which you can request at the bar.
