About this apartment rental
Looking for a special place in Brasov? The 250 years old house used to be the first bike shop in post-communist Brasov. With a bike hanging on its façade, it was well known by any biker. We loved it, got it, and restored it to save its charm. Enjoy!
Our “homemade home” is definitely one to remember. One of the few houses left untouched by the chaotic ‘’development’’ in the past years, it shows the simple architecture of the typical Kronstadt saxon house from the 18th century. The interior is entirely designed and manufactured by us so the place feels fresh and cozy, and has all the facilities you need.
The apartment is situated on the first floor (the attic) of our home and it is perfect for those seeking privacy. The old oak stairs take you in the living room that is also equipped with a kitchen ready to use, equipped with all the local essentials, in order to savor that morning coffee and breakfast :) Unless you wish that we serve you our favorite local dishes, but for that we keep in touch ;)
The two bedrooms are one to the left of the stairs while the other is on the other side of the living room. They all have double beds, with comfy yet hard mattresses for a good night sleep, a desk for your laptop and loads of storage for longer stays. Each comes with their own bathroom, so no need for sharing. We know that sharing is caring, but I think you'll love to relax some more in that old school wooden bath tub.
The sunny yard is only shared with our guests staying in the two studios situated at the ground floor, so you can also enjoy the outside.
Bikes! Yes, city bikes are in the yard and you can take them to freely explore the city's secrets and nice alleys.
Being just 20 minutes’ relaxed walk away from the Old Center, it has the advantage of easy access, inner court yard, free parking right in front of the house, a fresh market (2 minutes away), a nice shop right across the street for all the essentials, bus stop to Bran or city center (2 minutes away).

We had a couple and one single man staying there. Each had their own bathroom. Very comfortable sleep was a plus. Small market one block away and super market 6 blocks away. Close to taxi and bus lines. Lovely courtyard to have a relaxing glass of wine. The home owners let us borrow their own car when we couldn’t rent one on a Sunday. They even called a friend to guide us at one of the castles/ Citadels in Sighisoara
