A comfortable hotel

A very comfortable stay in a lovely clean hotel. The room was very comfortable with a good shower in the en-suite. Clean swimming pool. Good breakfast with a good choice.

The duvet was too thick.

Good hotel on the outskirts of Uzes

We chose this hotel as, unlike many in UZES, it had free parking and a swimming pool. It was a 20 minute walk into town but we were happy to do that for dinner each night- it might not suit everyone but you could drive in and park. The pool was welcome to swim in at the end of each day. Marie gave us 2 excellent recommendations for local restaurants which we appreciated.

I thought charging 2 Euros for the swimming towels was unnecessary. The charge for a bag of laundry was 25 Euros but they were very nicely washed, ironed and folded. The room was a little small.

The lady owner was super friendly. Big carpark made things easy. Not too far to walk to Uzes centre. Enjoyed the stay. Excellent value.

Some things were a bit sparing ie loo paper, teabags etc. Sheets not changed in the five days. Breakfast was lovely but if it was busy the buffet was rather sparse and only replenished reluctantly. Would have been nice if on arrival we were shown where the pool etc was. No snacks or drinks available after a long journey.

Superb

Secure car park. Good size room with comfortable bed and hot shower. Close to restaurants and supermarket. Nice size room. Good varied breakfast, plenty of choices.

I liked the welcoming staff as well as the quiet location of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. It was also nice to park the car for free in a secure place.

Exceptional!

This was an exceptional stay in a lovely, quite location with stunning views from our room across the valley and fields. The owners/proprietors, Marie and Laurent, were fantastic and definitely went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and a good stay. It's a good 15 minutes walk into the centre of Uzes but doable after a fabulous breakfast. Room facilities were great, the shower/bathroom was fantastic. Marie, the owner, was the most amazing host. She actually drove us into Uzes town centre in her car and offered to come back and collect us. We didn't want to impose on her generosity and came back on foot. An amazing experience staying with Marie and Laurent and we've told them we're coming back next time !

No room for improvement for my part. Some mobility-challenged guests might find the trip on foot into Uzes difficult.

Loren and Maria the hosts, we’re excellent, very friendly and accommodating. the breakfasts were delicious. I would highly recommend staying here. The pool is also very refreshing, and location is brilliant.

wonderful relaxing stay

nice quiet location about 20min walk (flat) into Uzes. easy to find. comfortable room. fabulous pool and area around it. breakfast very good (buffet on the terrace). bike stored in garage 👍 Room would have been excellent if it had a mini fridge (or communal fridge)
