View was good, pool was good, Sea was lovely. Staff at pool bar and restaurant were lovely. Tennis courts good.
hillside location meant lots of steps. gym was not fantastic. pool towels were rarely available and had to be collected from reception - 6 floors above pool. Food at breakfast and and evening meal was OK but not as good as most hotels where we have had half board. eg orange juice was weak squash, pineapple was from a can

OMG the view from our room (bungalow 31) was wonderful, looking out over the ocean with some leafy glimpses of the large pool. The pool was that great mix of wonderful for swimming (yet not a dull rectangle) and plenty of beds for everyone, plus poolside bar (sun and shade) AND separate snack bar (in shade). We went half board and were impressed, given the budget price, by the quality of the food. And the staff in the restaurants and throughout the hotel were all great, polite, good humoured, helpful, allowed you to sit where you wanted. Despite being a large site, we were luckly to be able to walk on one level to the dining room. The checking in was very smooth with a guy and a golf buggy ferrying us to our room with our cases aboard. Great service.
The cocktails were terrible. We tried the pool bar and the actual bar upstairs and we didn't finish either (40 euros for four drinks). Can't find much to complain about for the price. We were very pleasantly surprised.

lovely large Suite with private pool
The view from our garden was outstanding
The staff were wonderful
The breakfast /food was very good very tasty
The location is excellent close to town 5mins in the car
the gym was alsoa great bonus
stairs leading from other suite into our garden was a bit a bit strange
and the closeness of other suite made it feel not that private

Good outfit without soul
One room had loud air conditioning
Equipment for drying clothes on balcony was missing
Breakfast was on 2 stars level - a lot of food but without quality and necessary additions that make higher quality
Only filter caffe available- paying espresso in 5 stars hotel?!
No Shampoo refill
Restricted Number of coffee available to prepare in the room

Defenately not 5* hotel.Deposit for beach towels.Mimi bar has only water. You pay for the safe key in your room.Pool towels you take from reception.

I liked the room in general. It was a semi renovated room with nice sea and pool view. Also it had parking right outside which is a plus. I liked the fact that all personell was very polite and quick. Nice room air conditioning. Good room service.
The main room window was broken. We could not lock the balcony room from the inside and we used another locking mechanism existing on the door. I didnt like the fact that in a 5 start hotel the pool towels and safe are being charged. Breakfast was really poor for a 5 star establishment. I would be happy if it was a 3 star. In general the whole feeling of the hotel is of a low level, old 4 star hotel. The main hotel parking had no shadow and no asphalt.

Everything was perfect
The staff went over and above expectations. Our luggage didn't make it to the island when we arrived and the reception staff did everyrhing they could to help us call the airline multiple times and talked to them over a period of a few days.
2.5 / 5.0
The staff were all friendly and reasonably helpful.
The pool and views from the hotel were very nice.
The taxis into town were usually 1-1.5 hours wait and the shuttle bus from the hotel was only running for 3 of the 6 days we were there so we were stuck there unless we wanted to walk an hour in 35° heat.
The food included in the half board was very basic and if you didn't get down to breakfast before 9am then there wasn't much left

The hotel itself is nice and has good facilities (massive pool) and great views.
The staff are polite and helpful.
The food drinks varied a lot in quality and price between the different bars but was generally okay.
For context we were half board, ate lunch of our first day but then didn't go again. Instead favoured paying for food by the pool bar (much better).
The main downside with the hotel is its location and the fact that it is near impossible to get a taxi. 60-90 minute waits was common.
When you could eventually get one it was only €7 into town. The only alternative a painful 45 min walk with no paths or halfway houses.
There is a free shuttle bus that the hotel put on a few times a day but that broke down and therefore wasn't running for most of our stay.

The rooms and the location were very good. Our room had an excellent sea view and the room was what you would expect for what you paid. The staff outside of the resturant are very nice and the spa is excellent.
We upgraded to All Inclusive which was a mistake. This is not an All Inclusive Hotel many people we meet were on B&B basis. Consequently Lunch was cold and not many options there were only maybe 10 guests eating lunch. The Dinner at the hotel was getting better as we left but again not many options really only kids food pasta and pizza where the main options with a couple of extra hot dishes but not options that went togeter no greek food. The worst thing was the attitude in the resturant there were wo very sully older gentlemen working there who were frankly rude. They clearly did something different before Covid. The resturant is also the only place in kefalonia where you need to wear a mask the rest f the resort including bars and spa you dont. The rest of kefalonia you dont. We ditched All inclusive and ate in Skala instead where the food was excellent and the staff very friendly.
Takes 10 mins to get a cup of cold nescafe with breakfast.

Enjoyed pool area and staff were all pleasant especially around pool and outside restaurant. Cocktails good quality.
If going specificaly to use the spa which we booked for do not! The spa is clean that's it, the massuese inexperienced, both her and manager rude and overbearing in their attempts to sell treatments. Recieved full refund after 2 days of complaining which was tough, had lavender stress relief massage with no lavender in the treatment! Girl clumsy no pressure no communication left half way through bed broken.

The location
The property was very tired looking and in need of revamping. The room had a great view over the poool looking out to the beautiful sea. The room was appeared in need of renovation and update in soft furnishings ..ie dark brown wool bedcovers were I inviting . The bathroom shower plug hole was heavily watermarked . The sink was not draining away so we removed the plug to find it was full of hair . We booked only a few days in advance and was very disappointed with the rooms appearance which was overpriced at£110. Moving on the the breakfast which was included this unfortunately was poor in both appearance and display of foods. I am sorry to write this review but feel it’s good to feedback whilst the hotel is fresh in our minds . This hotel on our opinion achieves 3*

We had a room upgrade upon arrival to a sea view which was fantastic and decided to upgrade to all inclusive for our stay. The food and drink quality and choices were great throughout and it was a good decision we made.
Beds were very hard and uncomfortable for what we like and meant a good nights sleep wasn't always possible.
Hotel isn't within Skala itself and is a 6 Euro taxi ride away which isn't a problem but wasn't fully aware of this before travelling.

We were upgraded to a seaview for free and the view was stunning. Service was nice.
It was over priced and basic. The pictures are photoshopped, I had such high expectations and was very dissatisfied. Food wasn't great.

Beautiful setting
The breakfast was exactly the same for twelve days , got really boring , pretty limited , hotel was very quiet but the evening meals improved in the last two days as the hotel got busier

Location and pool were great. Sea view room was lovely.
Very expensive for what it was. Expected a better breakfast for that price. You had to pay extra for fresh orange juice.

Sea view from the balcony and the pool
The food was buffet style and not great quality compared to the surrounding restaurants
