Heerlijke plek, aardige mensen

Eigenlijk alles. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. De kamer was erg ruim en comfortabel. Fijne douche. Fijne, rustige plek. Zou hier graag nog een keer willen verblijven.

Niets. Wij waren met eigen vervoer dus ik heb ook geen idee hoe de verbindingen met openbaar vervoer zijn.

Saxon Stwizerland wandering

The location was perfect for visiting Dresden as well as Saxon Stwizerland Park. It is located in very calm and cozy area. Breakfasts were delicious (especially localy produced jams and eggs from own hens) and all the hospitality was on the highest level. The owner was very friendly and helpfull.

The only issue was missing air-conditionig, what could be a challenge during hot days (and nights), especially when you have rooms under the roof.

Best place to stay in Dresden

Everything was perfect! The breakfast was delicious and complete. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The garden is just so peaceful. Easy to reach by bus. The staff was super friendly. Everything is absolutely perfect, I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely Quiet Pension

This is in a small village just outside Dresden. The grounds are lovely. Our room was on the main floor which was much easier for us. Parking was no problem. Breakfast was typical and good.

A listing of restaurants in the area would have been helpful. The one brochure for one did give us a very good option.

Loveliest little place next to Dresden

We loved everything: easy late checkin; room that felt like a welcoming German home; friendly owners and, of course, the cat! The place is located in Dresden outskirts, it’s a 10-minute drive from the city. Last but not least: the breakfast was amazing. They serve local food and home-grown produce like eggs from their own chicken and homemade jam. Strawberry jam was the most delicious jam ever, I was too shy to ask if I could buy a jar or two of it. Many thanks for everything, Pension am Kirschberg!

Comfort and serenity

My room got a view to the front of the house with the little farm and a panoramic view of Dresdan city- because of that, i get to experience the most beautiful New Year's Eve fireworks from my room. The room itself was super cosy and clean. Breakfast was good with allocated table with your room number. Since i am travelling solo, the host is super thoughtful to arrange a table for me near the window with a view. On top of that she greet and check in on every guest every morning. It's a family run guest house, but this place makes me feel like home.

The location is my only qualms since i don't drive. There is a bus stop about 5mins walk out from the lodging, and about another 25mins bus ride to city center. My stay happens to cross over New year, there was bus out to city center but no bus back. Just be prepare to spend on taxi in such situation.

I really enjoyed this staying!! The view from the room was wonderful,with the snow outside.The transportation from the Village to the centre is quite easy really. I came on December but i think at the Summer it will be even better. The breakfast was very good.i Think next time i will definitely go to stay there again!!

Affordable price, exelent location! The owner Katrin is a great woman. She welcomed us in a lobby with a smile. House cat Susi is super cute. The room was super clean, breakfast was amazing. The garden is so beautiful. Very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Almost everything here are perfect, breakfast and cleanliness are beyond our expectations.

Fantastic pension with beautiful garden

The pension is quickly accessible from the highways, but we wouldn't say it's noisy. There was plenty of private parking places on the spot, although sometimes it was only just enough with so many guests. Amazing that this pension was always full. The garden was very nice and cosy, in some places it reminded me of a small botanical garden. There were also animals, ducks and hens, and a cat. The owner of the pension is a very kind lady, she was always very attentive, friendly and helpful. She is the type who strives for perfection in everything and pays attention to details. The room looked newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and very quiet. There was daily cleaning. The bed was so comfortable that sometimes it was hard to get out of it. The whole building and the garden was also very nice. The dining room is big, each room has a separate table in it, so you never have to wait for others, you arrive and sit down at your table. The breakfast was excellent, it's been a long time since we've seen so much choices, for example cold cuts, cheese, hot meals, home made jams, vegetables, fruits, corn, various bakery products, etc. You can have breakfast from 7 am. WiFi worked fine, but sometimes it was a bit slow.

Superb

A really quiet area but very near the autobahn outside Dresden. Nice place, spacious room and very comfortable beds! We didn't have time to eat breakfast in the morning, but it looked absolutely great.
