The hotel was beautifully set out . The gardens and plants were wonderful as was the stunning views from all around the pool. The pool area was lovely. It was immaculately clean and well tended. The bedroom was very comfortable and of a very high standard in terms of bedding and toiletries and added extras. The hotel building and grounds had no downside at all. Considering there was a fine dining restaurant on site the breakfast served was a buffet and very poor in terms of selection and quality.
The hotel was beautiful and tranquil and spar like. However people lit up cigarettes and smoked on sun loungers a round the pool with no regard for people next to them. There was no policy to ask guest to leave the pool are to do so. It was the same in all the hotel grounds. For this reason I would not return or recommend to others.

The view from the pool was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was absolutely delicious and had some of the best food we ate in Italy - and they were also very accommodating of my many food allergies.
The area was fairly buggy, but that was not the fault of the hotel. They also charge extra for additional pool towels, which we felt should have been included.

The staff was wonderful - at reception, they were warm, welcoming and always available to offer suggestions and book reservations for wine tastings and other activities. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent as well - accommodating and professional. The cleaning staff were invisible, but clearly did a fantastic job. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, fresh, clean and well-maintained. The location was stunning and ideal for exploring local wineries, San Gimignano, Siena, Voltera, and the coast. The food was outstanding. Great breakfasts with lots of savory and sweet options. Dinner at Tavola di Guido (full menu) was exceptional. I only wished that we had booked it more than once.
We weren't able to take advantage of the complimentary spa treatment due to staffing issues, so I'd recommend booking ahead. Other than that, I only wished we stayed longer.

A lovely hotel in the middle of luscious Tuscan hills with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were always extremely kind and attentive to detail. As a bonus, the hotel has a top notch restaurant where we got to enjoy a 7-course degustation menu which was exquisite. There is also a spa and pool which we did not have time to enjoy so this will provide a nice excuse to return.

Peaceful, quiet place in the middle of the vineyards away from the hustle and bustle of the road. Very elegantly furnished room with great bed and linen with a view of the surrounding area. And last but not least, a fantastic dinner!
It was impossible to find anything that was wrong!

the location and the view around is uniqual!
the bar inside was not really a focus of the staff! no one is there, you have to ask for the bar tender. when you get your drink, nobody is there again. as a guest you don't feel comfortable there!

It had the most gorgeous setting amongst vineyards and the rolling Tuscan hills! You need a car to drive to the nearby villages for evening meals. The restaurant on site was outstanding- get the tasting menu! It was super peaceful - a lovely pool to swim in and comfortable Sunbeds. The staff were all brilliant. Our room was a great size and everything felt high end and luxurious.
The WiFi wasn’t great and I needed to work and take a few calls so that wasn’t ideal!

This is tuscany! Awesome place in a beautiful landscape with fantastic views from the pool area. A perfect place to relax and also to start daytrips to vineyards, restaurants, cities of San Gimignano and Siena.
we would have taken some more drinks at a later hour at the bar, but the service was kind of „defensive“ :)
Also some issues with the pre-ordered breakfast and the availability of bread. But these are only minor points.

The hotel staff was the best part. They were very helpful and nice. They helped us book a COVID test, required to come back to the U.S. The facilities are nice and the hotel has updated decor and looks like it's been recently renovated.
We hated our room, we had to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to it, and the bathroom was in one floor and the room was in another, which meant getting down considerably narrow stairs if you wanted to go pee in the middle of the night. I had to be very careful not to slip.
Breakfast is not being served as a buffet due to COVID and you had to select what you wanted from a menu. It wasn't ideal as you didn't really know what exactly you were ordering.
The pool wasn't heated also, which was a huge downside as we were looking forward to using it but it was freezing.
There's not a lot of places to hang out outside, and there are a lot of bugs (bees, wasps, mosquitoes, beetles, etc.).

The welcoming staff, the excellent food and amazing view and overall relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful setting in the Chianti hills, wonderful landscaped gardens
Pictures of rooms on Booking.com and hotel website misleading: our Standard Double with patio was smaller than pictured, had no indoor seating area, and patio was exposed to restaurant.

The restaurant is amazing, we tried the tasting menu, and were deeply impressed. Breakfast is fantastic! The hotel is surrounded by olive trees and has an incredible view over the vineyards! We got upgraded to a better room. The personal is very friendly and welcoming. It was a fantastic experience!

The Location was great, beautiful pool area, nice staff, good food quality, beautiful room.
Housekeeping almost forgot a different thing every day, quite noisy room white people chatting during the night, shutting of doors and trash removing noise.

This place is exceptional - the location is great for exploring the Chianti region and the panoramic views from the property out over the surrounding hills and vineyards are absolutely stunning.
Service was excellent, our room was clean and comfortable and the on site restaurant served up a delicious tasting menu.
The neighbouring village of Castellina in Chianti is well worth a visit with plenty of character and some good quality local restaurants.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Tuscany!
