I Normally stay here when in Sauze. Great location and normally good value. Nice bar and great value for breakfast.
Sometimes the hotel can be noisy with children running up and down the circular corridor.

Staff are great especially Lukca on reception and the Bar Manager Domineco. Have stayed here loads.
Very noisy at times with children running around.

The breakfast selection, buffet style, was good with cooked items available in addition. There was also a free minibus service to and grom the ski lift.
Nothing to complain about.

shower was a bit poor.

Great staff who were always most helpful. A good location and the rooms are a good size with plenty of storage. The daily ski bus and gear storage facilities are very handy.
Bedding could have been much more comfortable.

Great atmosphere in the bar and a lot of this was down to the bar Manager. Magic Costi ask him to show you his skills if he is back next year !
Bit of noise because large school trip stayed during my stay but have stayed before and no issue and will be back !

the shuttle service from hotel to ski slopes
sharing the hotel with 200 teenagers
3.5 / 5.0
Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and the shuttle bus to the lifts was a god send.
We had to share the hotel with over 200 Belgian teenagers. The noise echoes through out the hotel due to the design which meant lots of noise during the evenings. Parents leaving their young children alone in the bar area meant having a quiet drink wasn't pleasurable at times. The Spa connected to the hotel was very expensive just for a swim and sauna and it is very tired looking. I was charged 120 euros but my friend was charged 90 for the same amount of sessions.

Wi-Fi was terrible

For the money paid the hotel was good value. Location great and view stunning. Staff were very friendly, good English. Mini bus to ski lift very frequent.
We didn't have any wifi in our rooms (on the 3rd floor) at all. Sounds like a first world problem but after a day's ski-ing chilling and watching something on Netflix was all I could manage. We asked if we could move rooms, but was told that wasn't possible. I had a very important business meeting one evening and asked if they could let me use the business centre for privacy, I was told they didn't have a business centre. When I sent a picture of it from their website, they provided me with a room on the first floor to use, which was a good compromise.
Hotel is looking a little tired now - needs a refurb - however after the last few years I appreciate money maybe a bit tight, but could be superb, the design is very good.
Wanted to do some of the activities advertised - skidoo and husky sledding - but it proved very difficult to get information about them so gave up which was a shame.
One more thing, due to my meeting I missed dinner and at 10:30, tried in the hotel, and then walked round village couldn't find anywhere. So eat early.
Breakfast - superb range, and cold buffet excellent. However, every day the sausages/tomatoes under the 'hot lamps' were luke warm/cold.

Building is of a unique and very interesting design; staff friendly despite it being a busy hotel; huge choice of food for breakfast; location central Sauze d'Oulx; large room; ski storage; outstanding value for money.
Lift was a bit slow; breakfast while huge in range was probably not as high in quality as some of the smaller places we've been - but these were minor quibbles.

rooms were super clean and warm. Bar area was friendly and welcoming on most nights with good bar staff. breakfast was a good selection and mostly tasty.
on a couple of nights a corporate group from EY were staying in the hotel and took over the bar. very loud music was being played even early in the evening. When we returned from dinner we felt excluded from the bar by their noise and numbers. They partied on through the night (Friday and Saturday) and were shouting and screaming in the central vestibule until 3/4.00 am. all of our friends in different rooms and floors were kept awake by it.
Shuttle bus doesn't drop off at Clotes lift and we had booked our hire skis from a shop by that lift so had to walk there and back every day.

Great buffet breakfast with a massive range of food & lovely view. Love the bar area! Staff helpful. Good to buy lift pass at hotel with discount. Ski locker room very convenient & warm. Easy shuttle bus to slopes.
Shower curtain not long enough to stop water getting all over the bathroom floor. Can hear some noise from other rooms.

1. Breakfast. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows with a breathtaking view on the mountain peaks. The food selection is the best I have ever seen in a skiing resort, and everything is delicious. There's salmon, sausages, hash browns, eggs, pastries, cereal, pancakes - something to everyone's tastes. We were not hungry until 5-6pm after the breakfast (which allowed uninterrupted skiing).
2. Shuttle bus. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Sportinia lift. It was extremely convenient (quick ride, very regular, and a super helpful and friendly driver). There is an option to walk to another lift as well (Clotes) but it's uphill so we always preferred to take the shuttle.
3. Discounts. The hotel offers 10% discounts to a ski pass and ski rental (located in the basement of the hotel). Very convenient, great prices, good quality equipment.
4. Apres ski drinks. There are free snacks and music at the bar every day. Great atmosphere with amazing view.
5. Comfort. Beds were comfortable, shower has a good water pressure.
1. WiFi. We had to go to the lobby to get properly connected, it isn't working that well in the room.
2. SPA. From the hotel description we imagined it is part of the hotel, but it's actually a facility nearby. It was EUR 25 per person for 2,5 hours in pool/sauna area. To be honest, 2.5 hours is too long so I didn't come again. I would have probably enjoyed it much more if we could go for 1 hour and cheaper.
3. Echo. The building is circular so when the guests talk/laugh you can hear them in the room. Never happened at night, but in the evenings we could hear loud noises.
4. Lift. Lift is ancient and takes forever to come. View is great everywhere so probably lower floor is an advantage here.

Great staff, stunning views, good value bar
Would expect to be able to get WiFi in the bedroom, no tea or coffee making in the room, noisy as every bedroom door opens in to the same area

Hotel bar was good and welcoming. Staff were generally helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was disappointing. The cooked breakfast was generally cold.
Hotel lift is very old and slow and the novelty of walking up the spiral staircase soon wore off!
Its not ski-in ski out. The Mini-bus to the lift only seated about 7 people so most time you end up walking rather than waiting. And then its quite a long walk up hill to the lifts

Bert friendly staff.
extremely hard beds, so didn’t get a good nights sleep the whole stay.
Food was not 4 star as advertised. Food was grey, fried and covered in breadcrumbs most evenings. Felt like someone with little experience or no interest cooking the food.
The staff serving it was very lovely though.
