Les très nombreux commentaires positifs sont bel et bien fondés. Au risque de répéter ce qui a déjà été dit, je tiens à souligner l’accueil souriant, les check-in et check-out rapides et efficaces, le sens du service, la propreté irréprochable des lieux, la décoration fraîche et recherchée. Repas du soir prit sur la magnifique terrasse ombragée, les plats et accompagnements proposés sont d'un bon rapport qualité/prix. Mention spéciale pour la salle des petits-déjeuners vaste, aérée, au mobilier épuré et aux luminaires originaux. Buffets sucré et salé généreux. Le jardin est juste exceptionnel avec ses bassins au milieu de la garrigue odorante Ardéchoise. Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Autant l'extérieur est joli que l'intérieur demande une mise à niveau. Chambres standards vieillottes.Ok pour une nuit mais pas plus

Wonderful retreat in the hillsides of Ardeche nera Le Van's - Breakfast and Restaurant are a whooping surprise and the rooms have its own flair. Of course, some need for renewal especially the bathroom. But it's a bit whining on high altitude. It had everything Hikers, Walkers, Bicyclists and Motorcyclist would look for after a day in the Ardeche Mountain ranges. Will book again when time has come.

Peaceful relaxing stay

Great location out of town set amongst trees and bush. Super swimming pool. Aircon in the rooms appreciated when the temp was 38. Interesting strolls in the grounds through rocks,caves and ruins. Tranquility.

Lovely find, I'd return

Lovely fond and just what I needed at the end of a hot day on my motorcycle. Met by the rather lovely receptionist who explained everything facility wise and was extremely helpful. Nice meal and reasonably priced. I'd happily stay again

Great building, lovely people, idyllic setting.

This is now our favourite hotel in the Ardèche. The huge stone building was a silkworm farm. Now it’s a spacious hotel in a wooded setting with excellent sitting out areas. There’s a decent-sized pool but it doesn’t dominate the garden/park. Our room was large with a marvellous terrace. Everything worked well, except the WiFi only reached the public areas. Staff were friendly and efficient. It felt we were being looked after by the family. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Dining outside in late September was a joy. They don’t serve lunches. And the restaurant is closed on Sunday. It’s no problem- there’s a very good restaurant just 200 yards away called L’Olivier. The hotel feels remote but in fact it’s easy to find just off the D901.

The internal decorations were tasteless to a British eye.

Beautiful quiet place

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is very peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!

Why do (a lot of) hotels always have to decorate the bed wirh pillows and blankets that are not washed? The firts thing we do when we arrive in any hotel is taking these things away and put them in the closet :) (PS: this is a general thing we don't like in any hotel because you never know how clean these items really are and what happened to them before our stay...) The swimming pool could need a renovation soon and they should put a handskimmer next to the pool so that guests who feel the need could skim of the insects and leaves (I totally understand that they can not have the time to do that every 10 minutes...but me as a guest, I would do it)

Beyond excellent

It's a fantastic old building that has been modernised and restored. The pool is superb and the setting is sublime. The staff are delightful and could not be more helpful and accommodating. When we left a passport in the room they called us and forwarded it to us immediately. They are really kind. It's the "find" of the roadtrip...a sophisticated oasis! We will be back!
