Breakfast were great. If u are not in good shape, the location for walking is a bit steep.
Needed more shade at the pool. No Beach chairs or beach club.

everything was wonderful and fabulous, the rooms are a bit more on the simple side, yet the bed is so very comfortable in the air conditioner works wonderfully! I slept so well every single night! everything I needed for a wonderful stay!
There was wonderful hot water in the shower at all times, with good water pressure, and the amazing view from the room is incredible!
A delicious breakfast was included in my room stay, and the waiters and the staff at the hotel are so warm and caring and kind!
I will absolutely come back on my next vacation to Hotel Irma

Hotel Irma is a short 10 minute walk to downtown Zihua along the boardwalk or the canal. there was plenty of dinning options in and around the hotel and the hotel pool was very nice to cool off in and enjoy sunset
there was no direct access to the boardwalk below the hotel, you have to first exit on to the street and walk a block or so before reaching the boardwalk.also the wifi in the room did not work

Location was excellent, within walking distance to beach, restaurants, downtown. Breakfast was great, 14 different egg dishes that you could try. Try Huevos Talavera or Oaxaquenos. The infinity pool is perfect place to end your day, especially with drink from happy hour menu. Beds were comfortable. Manager was excellent, spent many long hours there. Best beach was Playa la Ropa.
There are lots of hills in this area, part of Zihuatenejo's charm. Hotel is built in to cliff so there are lots of stairs, no elevators, good workout regimen if your room is on "piso ultimo" which ours was. Hotel could use some sprucing up as will likely happen now that they are getting busier.

When I booked room online it stated breakfast included but when we sat down first morning the server told us NO . This happened to others we spoke too
The only reason I booked this hotel was because of breakfast

Bf not worth the money, Americanized Mexican Bf.

Breakfast was American. Omelette was Ok. No toast to eat with omelette. When I inquired they brought it out…but no until I had finished my omelette. Tiny juice came with it. The fruit plate had 3 small pieces of 3 fruits…pineapple, watermelon and cantaloupe. Only the pineapple was good. Others were mostly rind and inedible. Not ripe at all. Breakfast was very disappointing.
Breakfast. Breakfast and Breakfast.

we liked the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was also very nice.
we were disappointed that there was no fridge in the room, or no option to pay extra to get a fridge. We felt that the Spa was not well advertised (it is quite well hidden, we stumbled across it, not knowing it was even there). We felt that the boutique in the front of the hotel (also somewhat hidden with little signage) is a waste and would be better used if it was a convenience store with beverages, snacks etc. AND styrofoam coolers and ice (since there is no fridge)

The hotel is completely smoke-free, the rooms are clean and offer nice view from the balcony. We stayed at the hotel during low season and enjoyed the half empty hotel very much. The staff was friendly, especially one young pal who served us breakfast 4 mornings (out of 5). There are several options available for breakfast with good taste and quality. They also serve food and drinks at the restaurant (or by the pool during daytime) and the prices, compared to other restaurants in town, are very good. It is perfectly located just a few steps from beach, supermarkets and restuarants.
Considering the fact that we live in 2021, WiFi connection in our rooms was bad ...or just absent to be more precise. I wouldn’t recommend if you have to do some online work or spend hours scrolling on social media during your stay.

Great view. Good breakfast. Staff was nice
The shower was dirty. I requested a ocean view but was put in a room with a view of the street.

This hotel was outstanding. The service was attentive and friendly, rooms immaculately clean, air conditioned, pool and restaurant also clean and comfortable. Views are spectacular and location is great... all for one of the best prices in the area. Massage in the spa was incredible, and 2 for 1 happy hours poolside were a blast. Will absolutely be returning!
A concierge or more information on tours would have been a bonus.
