The hotel is in a great location in Monopoli, and the staff were great in helping us locate it on arrival. We got transported back to the train station on our departure.
Lovely room, very comfortable. Nice facilities.
It was incredibly noisy in our room due to the location near the main entrance to the hotel, we heard every door slam, opening and closing. The staff arriving in the morning woke us up.

Staff were amazing, best views from the rooftop terrace, especially at sunset. Food was amazing and rooms are gorgeous.

There bathroom room was contaminated with Ants.
The Aircondition could only cool the room to 24°C

The property enjoyed both sea and street views whilst being quiet and comfortable. It is located adjacent to the ancient city wall and this provides exceptional views of the sea from the dining and bar areas. The rooms were charming and well appointed. Breakfast provides plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful in navigating the narrow streets for our hire car and baggage. They provide local secure parking and return the car as needed.

Top location - can’t be beat! Charming property, huge comfortable beds, very spacious and well. equipped rooms. The rooftop is quaint, petite and gorgeous - only a few people can fit by the pool at one time though! (approximately 4) Breakfast was typical of an Italian hotel - they could do better, especially with the hot food, and general hygiene standards of the buffet. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.
Breakfast was too basic and not chef prepared. Eggs were so boiled that they were powder inside, bacon so undercooked the fat was still white, watery underdone quiche slice, the sliced fresh fruit tasted like onions which we are certain was due to someone chopping onions and then chopping fruit using the same board and knife, the list goes on. We had to discard so many items on our plate as we went. Almost everything was either over done or under done, and the hygiene was freaking me out. Too many customer hands on things because they hadn’t pre-sliced things like bread and cheese, my friend and I both noticed and we are far from germ-phobic! We were never offered any service at breakfast for tea or coffee or freshly made eggs. Just expected more from a 5 star. We were also assured we would have full use of the venue despite a wedding reception being held there - but in reality this was not the case. We were unable to use the restaurant at all. This was really disappointing after I had specifically asked this question prior to our stay. We felt a bit scammed - like they didn’t want us to cancel our room but knew we would if we knew in advance that the restaurant would be out of use.

We stayed in the Immacolta suite, which was huge and luxurious - a short walk away from the hotel's main building, where an excellent breakfast spread is provided each day. There's no view since most of the room is subterranean but it's right in the heart of the centro storico. Other rooms do offer sea views and the rooftop of the main hotel is a fabulous spot. We were late in booking and would have liked to have stayed longer, so make your reservations early!
The weather! Even in the mid-May rain, we had a good time. Hotel staff offered to meet us with umbrellas after giving us directions to a nearby car park since we were arriving too late for the normal parking service they provide.

Location was fantastic
Room felt dated. Jacuzzi bath didn’t work. TV and Wi-Fi also didn’t work well at all. Restaurant was excessively expensive.

It’s definitely one of the most luxurious places in Monopoli. The pool was great and staff were nice. The room was super comfortable and all the amenities as well as the breakfast were great.
can be a little noisy depending on the proximity of your room to the restaurant

The beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms, the kind and helpful staff, the seafront location with seaview room, the swimming pool.
The superior seaview room could be a little bigger for the price, but it was great just the same.

good location. the restaurant although expensive was excellent and the restaurant were fantastic. breakfast was also excellent
reception staff not very helpful. considering this is suppose to be a 5 star hotel, we were expected to pick up our car which was parked 10 mins away at 7am in the morning, lugging our heavy cases across the old town. not how I expected to end our honeymoon. whilst sun bathing on the roof terrace we weren’t acknowledged by staff once, offered any drinks etc. in my experience this is not a 5 star, rather a good 4. our room was very noisy too, not just the street noise but also other guests slamming doors. I would not recommend this hotel for small children, but nevertheless it was full of them which did spoil the experience also. not the relaxing experience I hoped for
