Wundervoller Aufenthalt

Das Hotel war super schön, die Anlage einladend und direkt mit Strandzugang, perfekt zum entspannen. Die Damen vom Personal waren super nett und der Hausmeister auch, wir bekamen auch Tips zum tauchen und wo wir einen Roller leihen konnten. Frühstück wurde und direkt an den Strand nach Bestellung gebracht, Perfekt. Unser Zimmer / Apartment war schön groß und super süß dekoriert zur Ankunft. Es wurde täglich sauber geputzt. Die Sonnenuntergänge vom Hotelsteg aus waren atemberaubend.

Strandliegen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und heißes Wasser gabs nur wenn die Pool Pumpe umgeschaltet wurde.

Small, intimate resort with a personal touch.

Small, intimate well driven resort with focus on an individual experience. Very service minded personnel with a professional and calm approach. Nothing flashy about the facilities, but you have everything you need and the smaller things as enough towels, soaps, free coffee and tea, fridge, water and microwave is supplied. AC works, TV too, steady water flow in the shower and a very cozy breakfast arrangement. A perfect wind down place if you are not up for clubbing all night. Anti mass tourism feel to our wonderful stay! And we felt safe and well looked after.

Location, location, location

Location and pool were exceptional. The on-site staff, Bhagwantee and Linda were really helpful and attentive. Bhagwantee decorated our (ageing) honeymoon suite with bird and flower decorations. We were visited by birds from the beautiful tree overhanging the double balcony. There is great snorkelling out the front, especially if you can swim about 300m out from the lovely little beach. A bonus is the local turtle. Paradise...

There was no management on site and our multiple initial problems had to be slowly resolved through phone calls with the ever helpful on-site staff. We never saw a receptionist despite being told we would as their priority was the sister hotel in Grand Baie. Consequently we had a lovely time as the place was empty!

A real Jekyll and Hyde place. Some things we loved and some we hated. It could be so much better.

Room size excellent. Everything in the room worked. Good toiletries. Good location for town. Fantastic balcony. Breakfast well cooked. Well cleaned room. Great view from decked area out to sea. Good access to seafront.

Loud traffic noise in room. Swimming pool not maintained or cleaned. All decking area poorly maintained and dangerous. Grounds not maintained. Always ants and occasionally cockroaches in the room.

Very disappointing, at high daily rates

Dirty pool, shower flooding the room, wooden floor in bad state which is a trip hazard. Bath not fully functional. Umbrellas falling down which is a safety hazard. Cockroaches.

Very nice stay and great location

location is fantastic. Nice large room with plenty of storage space and a very nice balcony. Friendly staff

Not enough lighting in the bedroom. One light bulb in the kitchen not working One bedside wall light stopped working Safe could not be opened to store our important papers Not enough hooks or bars at high level to hang towels inside the bathroom

The facility is totally abounded, the pool wasn’t working, place is not maintain at all. Pictures you see on internet and in a reality is very different, and price we pay for such a abounded place is way too much

Direct at the beach.

It was not possible to get breakfast on the time we agreed with the employees. There is only one umbrella available, otherwise you have to sit/lie in the sun. The private beach is not really private.

Very poor

The ocean location Nathalie works hard although her manager makes it difficult for her to do her job effectively. She has to be reactive rather than proactive to the many, many complaints from other guests.

This hotel needs serious investment. We had sewage from the upstairs rooms running down our bathroom wall, my husband cleaned the pool daily. It was an infinity pool which didnt operate properly due to the low level of water. Initially a security guard was the only person on site but he became overtly sexual to me and had to be reported- the hotel acted instantly once we had made it clear this was totally unacceptable behaviour. The maid was a delight and got rid of the cockroaches for us, on a daily basis. You, as Booking.com have not visited this hotel for years. Please be advised we will contact you directly with a full complaint including photos. 1

Great location.pity it's just opened after Covid.superb views

No receptionist to check us in.pool and surrounding area was unkempt.very tired looking so needs a little maintenance. Room was only cleaned after I had to ask at 4pm the next day

Wonderful location but shabby reception area

Location. Good breakfast. Very nice towels.

The reception area looked shabby and created a very poor first impression. The beach was good for swimming but not for snorkelling; a lot of silt, very few corals and fish.

The staffs are helpful.

They had no proper menu. They said verbally stated the menu. The photo on Booking.com isn’t the same as on site They need to clean their pond infront of the reception Wasn’t nice to see. Feel like the hotel is being neglected..

EVERYTHING!. POOR MAINTENANCE. TOILET DOOR NOT FUNCTIONING. POOR ENVIRONMENT. WORST WELCOMING. NO PRIVACY. COULD HEAR NEIGHBOUR GOSSIPING WHOLE NIGHT. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. WATER DRAINING FROM NEIGHBOUR COMING TO OUR ROOM. ROOM WAS FLOODED WITH WATER. VERY DISSAPOINTING!! DECEIVING!! SHOWING WRONG PICTURESTO ATTRACT CUSTOMER!!

Accurately named; needs a little TLC.

Fantastic location. Right on the beach. The bath is AMAZING... Jets, colour changing LED lights and heated backrest. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Perfect sunset views over the sea. The breakfast was the best we had in Mauritius. The pool was nice and warm. Lots of bird life on the premises.

The air-conditioning did not cool down the room very well and was dripping lots of water on the floor. The windows that form part of the wooden folding door to the deck could not close fully so we had a fair number of beatles and geckos enter the room - the lack of insulation probably added to the air-conditioning troubles. Plumbing issues - our shower and the neighbours shower overflowed when we drained the bath... Water everywhere. We also had no hot water two nights in a row. Generally the property has very high end finishes, but the wood, plumbing, garden and aircon needs maintenence.

Very clean, spacious room with terace. Nice poll and access to the beach. They are lacking off staff but they are doing their best to accomodate the guests. They are cleaning rooms every day. There are toiletries in the bathroom, coffe/tea, bottle off water will wait you at the room.

Like majority off island, they have water heater on solar energy, which means if you take your shower late, after all other guests or in the morning, you would probably shower with almost cold water, what happened to me almost every day

STAY AWAY, this place needs help.

The location is quite beautiful, but in no way do the facilities match the photos.

I can only feel sorry for the staff at this unmaintained establishment. The person who cleans and the man who runs security at night were very friendly. There is no reception, no services, and no wifi. It isn't their fault, only that of the management who clearly don't care to put any time nor effort into maintaining what could be a beautiful venue for locals and tourists alike. We tried to phone Nathalie (assumably the manager) several times during our stay, but she never got back to us. You will be alone there, for better or for worse.

Superb location and staff. What a room. Love the way they arranged everything. Loved their hospitality. 2 minutes walk from Indian restaurant and winners supermarket

Due to covid impact, hotel is working with limited staff and renovation is on. However, the team is there to help you. It's a perfect boutique hotel that one will love to stay.

Disappointing!!

Proximity to the beach

TV was not working; Smelly room (it seems that there’s a problem with their drain pipe) despite being moved to a different one after raising this issue. In fact, it got worse and had to sleep with the open windows for the whole night. Furthermore, on the second day the breakfast was incomplete (no chicken sausage and fruits) and again this was raised with the kitchen staff and she said that she didn’t manage to buy these - how can you run a business with such a lack of planning! Very disappointing and won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very good

The view of the ocean is amazing and I spent most of the time on the deck watching waves and the sunset. The staff had also had a lovely flower arrangement to welcome me to the hotel. The check-in process was online and amazing.

The hotel was a bit run down, though understandable as it had not been operational for a number of months due to COVID. There is also no clear reception/concierge staff so it was difficult to obtain information when needed especially how to book for activities in the sister hotel.
