How thoughtful the owners were in what room they ended up putting us. The hotel is also really a gallery as stated in the name and features beautiful works of art throughout the whole property.
No complaints, stay was amazing. The only thing we regretted was not planning to stay a few more days.

What is there not to like? Everyone was super friendly, the owner's touches make this hotel feel more like a home and when you're away from actual home this was truly reinvigorating. The facilities were super clean, the backyard and pool area were an oasis, the room was quiet and the bed super cozy. I will come back and bring the rest of the family here, I cannot overstate just how nice everything was and the memories made here were all part of a nice visit. I thank the hosts for it all.
Everything was tip top.

After landing in Puerta Vallarta and eating at some well rated restaurants, our breakfast surpassed all that we had eaten in PV. It was so sweet to have our lovely chef, right in his kitchen, and watch his skill in cooking, and eating his food. He clearly loved what he did, and was utterly charming. The art work was amazing, and the place had a lovely homey vibe. After a very long and disturbing bus ride, with no food, we were received with such care, and attention it made up for a rough day, within minutes of being there. Alex spoke English and immediately showed us to our room. His mom at the desk was gracious and warm. We had our own private covered balcony, overlooking the sweet courtyard, garden, and could watch the birds, and enjoy the rain that fell, feeling safe, and at home.
The bathroom was not so great, small, and old, and no place to put stuff, .. seemed like it needed an updo.

located close to the center of Tlaquepaque - walking distance to all intersting spots / shops - nice people running the place
curtains and carpets were dirty, paint on walls partially coming loose, big gap under front door, spiders in the room - altogether rather old and dirty impression

Where do I start? The place is gorgeous, with beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, and the location is ideal. The hotel is run by a family who lives there, so it has an incomparable homey vibe. It is hard to explain the hospitality and coziness you feel when staying here. The owners are always around, and you can even sit down and talk to them for a while if you want. They are the ones who welcome you, make you breakfast, and make sure everything is great. They even called me a doctor when I got food poisoning during our trip. They also got me soup, made me tea, and checked on me until I was back on my feet. They really do take care of you!
