Very disappointed and choose Sonders again

Hard to tell to be honest

**Title:** Disappointing Stay Compared to Previous Experiences I used to enjoy staying at Sonder apartments in Minneapolis, but this recent experience was a major letdown. First, the quality of the bedsheets was terrible—so hard they felt like paper. The bedspread was equally horrible, making for uncomfortable nights. The cleaning service was only offered once during our one-week stay, which is far from adequate for a hotel. Additionally, the charging outlets were very limited, making it inconvenient to charge devices. The sink was poorly designed, and the water flow was problematic, adding to the frustration. Overall, this stay was disappointing, especially compared to my previous experiences with Sonder. I expected better quality and service. --- You can adjust the tone or details if needed!

Nice property, but "early check in fee" left a bad taste in my mouth

Very nicely located hotel close to a T station and Harvard/MIT, perfect for solo and business travellers. A bit pricey for what you get, but this is true of Boston hotels in general. Really nice roof terrace and the restaurant Althea is great as well. Staff is friendly. The ice cream shop next door is amazing!

As a jetlagged international business visitor, I found it deeply unacceptable that even though my room was ready, they refused to give it to me unless I paid an early check in fee (for context, I arrived 2:30PM, check in was 4PM). I understand fully having to pay a late check out fee for cleaning purposes, but an early check in fee when the room is lying ready is just an attempt to extort customers. These practices make me feel a different hotel with more customer friendly policies would have been better (and indeed our next hotel let us check in as our room was ready, at no extra charge). Avoid if you have a choice and anticipate needing accommodations they can charge you for.

great stay, comfort, pricey but reasonable

self check in is pretty convenient, also there isn't check out procedure, no need to plan ahead for time to check out is pretty nice. self service counter for soap, drinking water etc is pretty convenient

the coffee machine does not work well, the coffee is pretty bad coming out of the machine

Overall, great value for what we were looking for and I would stay there again.

Great location, nice condition rooms, surrounding restaurants had great ambiance, efficient check-in through web verification that was a bit clunky but worked out fine.

Rooms were a bit small and ours overlooked a courtyard with a restaurant so there was a bit of noise.

Nice location, but promised amenities are lacking

Location is great.

Wifi didn;t work. Coffee maker was broken. Towels and linens were wrinkled. For $500+ I expected that the basics would work.

Modern hotel in a good location

Super clean felt like brand new - good sized rooms and convenient location. Expensive due to marathon weekend but fair enough :) helpful staff and good luggage storage. I walked everywhere from here around the city.

A gym would have been nice. And water in the room.

Nem hotel nem airbnb

Não é um hotel e nem um aluguel temporário (airbnb). Não há recepção 24 horas e nem serviço opcional de café da manhã. A entrada no quarto é feita por código digital e, se não funcionar por algum problema, você não tem a quem recorrer à noite. A limpeza do quarto é feita somente por meio de reserva com 2 dias de antecedência, o que não faz sentido se você for ficar até 3 dias. A cama ocupa o quarto inteiro e, ao abrir a sua mala, não tem espaço para andar no quarto. Há 6 travesseiros, o que seria bom se eles não fossem todos iguais. Eu prefiro travesseiro baixo e nenhum deles era baixo. Se não é para dar opções de travesseiros ao hóspedes, então qual é o motivo de ter tantos travesseiros em um quarto sem nenhuma poltrona para colocá-los (se eles ficarem todos na cama, você não tem espaço para dormir). Enfim, o preço é de hotel, mas o serviço não.

Great location ! Nice staff.

Close your our daughter’s apartment in Cambridge. Staff were very nice! Good pillows.

Window shades didn’t cover completely and bed was right next to window. Bed linens did not stay in place overnight (mattress topper) so had to remake bed every night. Connecting door to next room was so porous we heard every word of our neighbors discussion about dinner plans and hair drying process. Thankfully the room was empty the remainder of our stay. The bathroom light (brightest EVER which is good in general) is automatic which is not helpful in the middle of the night if you partner is trying to sleep. We figured out how to circumvent it the next night. Hallways are shockingly dark with charcoal gray walls and black carpeting. The check in area is dark stained concrete with black walls. Stylish if you like grunge! Overall, gave an impression of not being clean. Room bath WAS nice and clean! The two hotel restaurants featured online are both closed.

I always loved Sonder until this stay

I was a huge fan of Sonder and would always look for a Sonder wherever I go until now.

Reception left at 12 noon with our luggage with them. We couldn’t get it and had to call and ask for assistance. We barely made it to our train and arrived 4 mins before it left because we couldn’t get our luggage at Sonder. Sheets were not clean on the first day. I asked for a replacement and they said they would but did not and I had to follow up.

Great location and place, would stay again

Very good location, close to lots of restaurants and metros. Size is perfect for two. Bed is comfortable and furniture is new and nice.

Only thing I didn’t love was the shower, since it was a light curtain it would keep flying into the shower. Also would recommend taking a shower cap if you’re a woman and not wanting to get your hair wet because water goes everywhere.

Un tesoro en Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Excelente ubicacion, muy comoda la habitacion y con todo lo esencial. Restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia muy cerca. Y si como a mi les gusta caminar tendran cerca mucho que ver y disfrutar, les recomiendo el atardecer o amanecer en el puente Harvard, precioso.

Que no pude estar mas dias. No tengo ninguna queja del hotel Sonder 907 Main. Es simplemente excelente.

Bien situé à Cambridge

Emplacement. Chouette bar au 5eme étage. la déco est très sympa.

Le restaurant du rez est bcp trop bruyant (musique assourdissante). La soufflerie de la sdb faisait un bruit continu. on nous a changé de chambre sans souci mais la 1ere chambre n aurait pas dû être louée telle qu'elle. Bcp de moments où la réception est vide.

Cute, clean spot good for a quick trip to Cambridge/Boston.

The property is cute & clean. It is very small with not much room to spread out at all. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

The property is in Cambridge in a cute artsy neighborhood at the edge of MIT campus. It is a walkable spot, about 15 min walk to the river. It is close to public transportation and there are e-bikes nearby. Lots of cute bakeries and places to eat, with a bakery and restaurant directly at the hotel. The 2 big downsides: there is is no parking onsite and the local street parking is hard to find. There is a garage close by, but be sure to count on that extra expense of you are driving. The other downside is that it’s far from central Boston and a lot of the tourist sites etc. You cannot really walk there.

Perfect stay near Boston

The building and room access is easy and convenient. The room was very nice and clean, and the bed was amazing. It's in a great location in Cambridge and very close to the metro, so we were able to explore all of Boston from here!

Nice room. Great location. Service was meh.

The room was fine, expect the cushion for the only seat in the room was completely collapsed. I had to use a pillow from the bed in order to take my work calls from anywhere but the bed or the floor.

While the product was well designed, the service was crap. It clearly hadn't been tested very well. The keypad to get in late at night was impossible to see. Had to use my phone flashlight to see the numbers. I was charged $30 for a late check out, which is fine. But I was also charged a separate $5 as a late check out fee. Why is there a charge for a service and a fee for the charge?

Good location, around the hotel lots of shops and cafes. Staffs were kind. The room was big and specious, and the bathroom was a great size too.

First, we booked 'Suite with Terrace', a penthouse unit of the hotel. It cost around 500/night. Compare with what we paid, nothing was complimentary. No bathrobes, toothbrushes, or even water bottles as you would expect for any regular hotel. The room was on the same floor as the rooftop bar, so it was very loud. The bar closed at 9 pm, so it would not affect anyone planning to stay out all day and go back hotel room for sleep. But my and friend was booked this place for rest of a day in the room, so we could not do that. A few towels were not completely clean. We also have to pay extra for early check-in or late check-out.

Dirty sheets, loud, but in great location

Location is great. Room uses space efficiently.

The sheets were NOT clean, they had old stains and hair from someone else. There is a very loud restaurant and a rooftop bar in the same building, and so no way to go to bed before midnight. Walls are thin. They also try to charge you for everything, even checking-in 15 minutes early is extra $20.

Overall, great. But next time I will request other floors. 4th floors were too noisy.

Overall, it was fine. Very clean, great location, and reasonable price.

However, not great with sound-proofing. I think they did not build in sou d proofing. It was just heard by our ears.

The "business model" of this hotel must be geared to techies who live on their phones.

We were not offered breakfast, so I'm surprised by the question. The bed and the bed linens were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean.

It felt like I was tricked into paying an extra $25 to check in at 3 p.m. instead of 4 p.m., even though the room was ready, and we never asked for early check-in. There was never any staff at the desk to answer questions. There was no helpful literature around to acquaint us with the transit system, local attractions, etc. We spent 3 nights there, and never was there any sign of cleaning the room of garbage, or replacing towels. There were no pods for decaf coffee. Seven-digit code to access room? Parking lot (3 blocks away) charges more than $50/night.
