It was home from home and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space we had for 5 adults- lots of bits n bobs to look at and even a game’s cupboard which kept us entertained! Everything was clean - the dogs loved the walk up the lane each evening and the log burner was lovely to sit round in the evening.
Nothing

Location was perfect.
Beautiful house and gardens.
A traditional home that is obviously much loved by its owners.
Would have liked at least one cupboard in the kitchen to have been empty.
On the last night the shooting was very load and sounded very near late into the evening, my dog was terrified to the point I nearly called an emergency vet to sedate him.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the games cupboard and use of things in the shed on rainy days. It was lovely to have so much parking space and we really enjoyed the garden. A good location for Corfe Castle and Swanage. A real home from home.
Nothing to dislike about the cottage. The only thing I didn't enjoy was navigating the blind right turn out of the lane. Maybe put a mirror up so you could see oncoming traffic. Everything else, lovely.

Location excellent
This is our second visit
It is a pity the tree workers were working in the grounds whilst we were there .

Wonderful retreat

The Cottage had everything we needed to hand, clean and tidy and a welcoming homely feel.. An excellent location and beautiful gardens to enjoy after a busy day out exploring. We enjoyed many evenings relaxing on the patio watching the children play and explore.
A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location.
There was nothing in the cottage to dislike.

The location was ideal for our short holiday . The road and railway are close but this caused us no problems
The facilities were good and we lacked for nothing .
The only thing missing was a history of the cottage and its environment .
4.2
room sizes and the fact there was two sinks downstairs
I didn't like how some areas of the house where unclean for example some of the knives and forks and some trays for oven were dirty.
TV remote not fully working

It was a lovely cottage, super clean and warm. Very comfy beds and some lovely furniture and fittings. The kitchen was excellent. garden huge and nice areas to sit. Loved the wood burner. We loved the huge range of books and some very nice pictures and ornaments. very good instructions on how to switch heating, hot water, key collect and also how to get the wood burner going successfully. Very surprised by rather mean minded reviews previously put on booking.com which nearly put us off.
Really had to travel to get to nice walks as although right next to the river it all looked a bit private and unwelcoming and no way you could walk along any of the banks. private this private that!! Not the cottage fault btw.

No hot water in kitchen toilet or bathroom to wash hands properly. TV remote ancient not working.
Finally got hot water after 4 days

It was like coming home. Everything was there ( from someone else’s life) unyet we were welcome to share it for a while.
The outside furniture is in need or repair or replacement.

Location perfect for outings in all directions!
The kitchen and bedroom were very good.
Lovely house on the outside and Dorset we found beautiful!
It was as if you were visiting your old granny!
Not very clean and far too much stuff everywere!
Also the livingroom had a stuffy smell!!!
Spiders in corners!

The kitchen was newly furnished, the oven and microwave looked new. The plates matched. It was remote enough to feel rural, down a side lane, and happily one local takeaway delivered a delicious meal. We could not see the trains thanks to the trees. The dining room was a nice addition to the square footage. Rooms were furnished in an antique style. The WiFi speed was good enough to stream, an unexpected bonus. A central location enabled us to visit the area well, though the two right turns out of the property to get back onto the main road felt quite hairy at times.
This was more like an airBNB with many items in cupboards especially in bedrooms and kitchen making it difficult to unpack. Eg Someone’s coat on the back of the main door, their sun hats on the pegs, magazines and family photos around, made it feel unlike what we expected from a holiday rental. The windows were overgrown with climbing plants making it easy for insects and spiders to enter. The dishwasher lacked both salt and rinse aid and the dryer had a notice saying it had been broken for some weeks. The garden was overgrown and paths were covered by brambles. Garden furniture was wooden and old and lacked cushions and did not provide the modern comfort one expects. There was no BBQ. There were no garden flowers except for a few pots adjacent to the house, making the garden look unattractive and very overgrown. There was no garden furniture out of the full sun. Disappointing for the description and the money. A basket of cleaning items with a packet of cheap cookies and no milk on arrival gave a poor first impression and it felt eerily like the owners might wander back in at any time. It would have been courteous to have been told when the cleaners, the plant watering person and the gardeners were coming as all three appeared unannounced. We knew about the train line, but didn’t really expect so many trains and road noise. A small teapot would be a good addition, plus some matching cutlery and some matching mugs. We didn’t use the TV but if we had wished to do so, we would have needed to rotate the sofas. Some board games which contained the necessary pieces to play them, would be good.

Great location close to Wareham

Lovely central area to all attractions, just off a main road.
found lovely garden centre with cafe around a pond just 10 mins drive on same road.
they did supply lots if cleaning products, tea coffee and towels and some toiletries in bathroom.
There are many nice beaches in area.
We also recommend the alpaca experience at longthorns, where you can take a 1-2 hour walk around the woodland and site and feed the alpacas and then enjoy a goodie bag and cuppa at the end.
Propperty was pet friendly and dogs loved the shadey areas under the trees.was tranquil and quiet propperty apart from the trains and army range vehicles passing regularly.
Needs to be fenced off more for dogs, the garden would be perfect.
Did need more info on attractions around the area , no flyers...
Needs some comfy relaxing chairs to enjoy the garden more.
Cottage was quite dusty on arrival, lots of ornaments about and old pictures and books.
Tv remote did not work well.
Garden grass was not cut on arrival and gardener had to come back to cut grass and tidy garden during our stay.

Charming house in the Dorset countryside with lovely outside space and excellent location for visiting the Jurassic coast. Comfortable beds , well equipped. Large garden, peaceful.
Cluttered with the owners belonging, felt more like housesitting than a holiday rental. Dusty and tired in places.
