Thank you for a lovely stay

We ended up being upgraded to Skiathos Avaton villa and suites which was amazing and just up from the Avaton hotel. The room was lovely with its own jacuzzi/pool and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bartender made amazing mojitos. We ate in the Avaton hotel in both the bistro and restaurant and both were lovely, again with staff that were attentive and friendly. The hotel was fairly close to the town, a short walk away. However some of the roads didn’t have paths which was a little dangerous, but nothing major. The hotel is also close to the beach. The suites and villas are nestled on the side of a hill which make for lovely surroundings.

The hill was pretty steep for the suits & villas but they did provide a buggy transport which was helpful and easy to arrange.

This is a lovely, clean and extremely friendly hotel.All the staff are incredibly helpful-friendly.

Breakfast was varied and fresh. Plenty of yoghurt and fresh fruit, as well as bacon and eggs etc. You can order specialty coffees from the bar.

Hot tub was a let down. The pipes need a proper clean out. Otherwise everything else was good

Most enjoyable stay in a nice place, with the experience enhanced by amazing desk staff.

Staff were superb and extremely helpful. Agnieszka and Georgia couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasurable as possible and were a wealth of information as to where to go and what to do on the magical island of Skiathos. An absolute credit to the hotel.

It's an older style hotel which could do with a little sprucing up, but that's being a little bit picky I suppose.

All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Would have liked a secure luggage room and shower / changing room as we had an evening flight home.

Lovely staff and service but rooms need sound proofing!

The staff and service was excellent. The location was fab. Breakfast and food were great. Room was a great size and clean and comfortable bed. Swimming pool area is lovely with very comfortable sun beds!

The walls are paper thin! I could hear the conversation of the people in the next room. Also lots of sound which comes from the corridor when people come in at night. Peak season brings expensive prices but rhe staff make this place!

Draught beer in 500ml size only when smaller 330ml is often a better option The walk into town was fine in terms of distance but parts of roadside had no pavement so walking very close to traffic made it risky!

A memorable, relaxing holiday that will stay with me for a long time.

From the moment I stepped in to the idyllic gardens I knew this was a special place. The team are second to none. Thanks to Vivi, Theodosis (Tres), Thanos, Andreas,Agni , Georgia and Sterias. I arrived fairly early but they made sure my room was ready and in fact upgraded me!. The pool area is so relaxing, the restaurant is rated in the top 5 on all of Skiathos and is well deserved. The food didnt let me down each night (why go elsewhere when you are spoilt on your door step). On the last morning I shed a tear as I left which shows how much an impression this place had on me. Thanks guys for the memories. I hope to be back.

Hotel is located next to the beach,called Megali Ammos. The staff is brilliant,ready to serve you,very friendly and professional.The facilities are perfect,beautiful and clean rooms,the breakfast is full of delicious products!!The sunbeds in the pool area were very comfortable,everything was better than what we expected!!!We also ate in the restaurant,inside the hotel, Black Pepper.The best dinner we had in the island!!A beautiful place,we are coming back for sure!!!Thank you for the hospitality!!!

The location was ideal and the all of the staff were absolutely brilliant and their attention to detail was second to none.

difficult to pick an issue but a kettle for tea would have been a bonus but other than that all good.

Relaxing, beautiful island…definitely go back!

A lovely hotel only a 5 minute walk from the town. The on-site restaurant is excellent but book ahead as it’s often fully booked. Local bus service is amazing, stop close to the hotel which takes you through the island for €2! Breakfast is varied and fresh. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating..definitely go back!
