Graeme the owner is lovely and undoubtably proud of his property.
Where to start? It needs an Alex Polizzi intervention immediately.
Avoid the garden at all costs. The hot tub looks like soup under the covers, dog poo in the garden, random plug extensions that are not for outdoors used for hot tub and fridge. Goodness knows the cupboards contain all sort of nonsense (boxes and boxes of biscuits) which I think harp back to its B&B days.
Kitchen has plugs not working, random and cracked crockery and drawers that need fixing.
Bedrooms no longer match the pictures. One now has an ‘ensuite’ shower and toilet with a random handwritten note above the toilet telling you not to put contraception down the loo. No curtains and broken blinds but all had dressing gowns!!! The bedroom with the corner shower in has no ventilation.
Sitting room has very worn sofas and a damp patch on the ceiling and a TV too big for the room. In fact every room has a massive TV in it. I am just scratching the surface here to be honest.
Listen, I could go on. Graeme, you’re really nice but you need to be honest you are currently misspelling this property. We watched the four in a bed episode you were in from 2021 and the change is dramatic. Not sure what has happened in the last 4 years but it looks like it’s falling apart inside and outside (roof and outdoor furniture)

The house was beautifully decorated, really spacious, in an amazing location with lovely views of the coast. Loved that there’s a party room, a great feature for us as a group of young adults! Couldn’t fault Graham, he was happy to help with anything and always contactable.
It could have been cleaner but no major concerns that would put us off returning.

location
the view bedroom
toilet/ shower facilities inadequate for the number of people staying. eg would expect more then one fully functioning toilet. and not a shower in cupboard under the stairs/end of a bed.
photographs of the property are not a true representation of the property today.
stained carpets etc
smell of damp in the bottom bedroom and no heating working
the landlord of the property was pleasant and we did make the best of it but people need to be warned before booking as I was disappointed when we arrived.

Real log burner and pet friendly.
Downstairs shower room is a bit cramped.

Great location looking out over mouth of the Tyne River, close to restaurants and groceries in Tynemouth (walking distance) and easy access to highways for sites and Newcastle. Heaps of space for our family of six.
