Sejour balneo calme et confortable en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour pour le jour de l'an dans cet endroit paisible et confortable. Hôtes discrètes nous ayant préparé un logement et un jacuzzi bien chauds avec jeu de lumières au plafond. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour le confort : peignoirs, grandes serviettes, tisanes, capsules de café, matelas de qualité. Propre et calme, à côté du parc des sports, pinède, parcours de santé. Un très bon souvenir de vacances.

Rien à reprocher. Nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour.

Comfortable lodging for a wonderful Provençal experience that exceeded expectations.

I’ve strayed in several places in outside of Aix and this location and lodging is by far the best. Sitting on a very comfortable with a glass of chilled rosé on the terrace or by the pool with the sound of the cigales in the background. It is the Provençal moment. The beds are excellent, the kitchen and bathroom like new and A/C works very well which is important in the summer. You can walk 3 minutes one way to a centre sportif with playground, sports fields, tennis courts and hiking trails. To the other direction you walk 3 minutes to Domaine de L’Olibaou where you taste and purchase rosé, rouge and olive oil made on the premises. Walking the quiet roads of olive trees on one side and grapes on the other, you are experiencing bliss. The hosts are very accommodating and also allow you to be indépendant. The pool is shared between the three lodgings and there is plenty of space for everyone. Parking in Aix is very challenging, so you have the bus from Venelles that takes you to Aix in 18 minutes. Highly recommend for market days. The walk to Venelles is nice with a pedestrian bridge over the highway. Finally, we appreciated the plancha for cooking outside.

The only thing it lacked was paper napkins or paper towels which we picked up easily at U Express in Venelles.

A brilliant place to stay when visiting Provence.

The location was great, very rural with great views. Ideal for visiting the Luberon, Aix-en-Provence and Cassis all within about an hour. Great pool in the garden with plenty of shade if required. Good cooking facilities plus an indoor jaccuzzi we used every day.

There was little not to like apart from the plugs on the washand basins not sealing very well.

Superb

Modern apartment in the beautiful countryside of Provence, with a pool, grill, private sauna and very nice terrace with a view. We did not meet the owners in person, but they were responsive and provided all of the information. The location is also good, close to Aix-en-Provence and a good base to explore Provence.

The beds had a hard pillow and a plastic cover below the sheets, it was uncomfortable to sleep at times. The kitchen and the apartment could have more equipment (e.g. plates for soup, bigger closet or more hangers for clothes). The bathroom and the bedroom had no door.

Nice apartment in a quiet place. Well appointed place. Very clean, comfortable, good location if you have a car [but otherwise you probably wouldn't be here).

Lovely with room for improvement

Location. Outlook. Grounds. Warm Pool. All lovely. Great private jacuzzi. Lovely room. Spacious, comfortable and stylish. Good bathroom. Pretty terrace where rain and wind protection could be improved. Useful kitchenette. Excellent dinner and nice breakfast could be improved by including wine and water. Certainly fair at 40 EU per person . That said dinner was delicious. Pity no napkins, table not laid. ....Small amount of effort would make a huge difference.

Steps between parking and unit difficult for elderly or mobility challenged. No handrails. Fizz problem with luggage. very little storage space for clothing. Laundry facilities (shared) would be a huge asset. On-site honesty bar/drinks service would be very helpful.

Excellent place to stay

The appartmemt is very spacious and the garden has all the room you could wish for, including a heated swimming pool and jeu de boules area. All in all a great location situated just outside of the village/city, but with everything in the vincinity (try out the neighbouring wine domain for sure!). We definitely recommend!

Not much, the indoor couch is not super comfy and there are just enough kitchen utilities, but those are just details. Other than that, a perfect place to stay!

The location was great, close to nice cities. The pool was perfect - 10/10. Surroundings were quiet. The bathroom was spacious.

There was no closet, we had to keep our clothes in our suitcases. Maybe the jacuzzi should have been moved outside, since we did not understand the purpose of it inside the one room we had.

Superb

The b&b is luxurious and quiet. We think the rooms are very beautiful and spacy. The house, the garden, the swimming pool and the view are perfect. Both the apartment and terras are wel equipped and the beds are very comfy. The location is very quiet, still Aix En Provence and other villages are nearby as well as shops, restaurants and wineries. The perfect location for a nice holiday in La Douce France

We did miss a bit contact with the hosts. The kitchen supplies are a bit limited which makes it necessary to do the dishes after every meal. Take into account if you stay for a longer period of time you will need to provide additional soap, shampoo, toilet paper and some basic kitchen supplies such as olive oil, tinfoil, ...

The setting is amazing. Quiet and away from it all, but close enough to Aix-en-Provence to pop in. Stunning views and a feeling of relaxation. Everything you need, including food on your arrival or during your stay, if needed. A stylish, clean, comfortable but affordable treat.

Amazing stay - Provence at its best

We spent an incredible 4 nights at Lou Félibrige in the one-bed apartment with its private jacuzzi and overlooking the beautiful garden and swimming pool. We enjoyed the privacy and the general peacefulness of the area, yet a 20 min drive to Aix en Provence. The facilities are amazing, and beyond expectations given the nightly rate. The best and biggest bed we’d slept in in a long time, and an incredibly spacious apartment all around. Can’t wait to come back!
