GREAT LOCATION CLEAN AND COMFROTABLE

GREAT TO HAVE A VIEW OF THE SEA. WELL EQUIPED KITCHEN, PLENTY OF SEATING WHETHER AT TABLE OR RELAXING ON A COUCH. CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE.

Location, view, well laid out plenty of space great with kids well-stocked plenty of bits they had gone above and beyond and made sure everything needed was avaliable

Highly recommend for one night or a longer peaceful getawsy

Located in a small fishing village this Is really good , nicely and comfortably furnished and comprehensively equipped accommodation with balconies overlooking a tranquil bay. Excellent tavern with good food either eat or takeaway 4 Minutes walk. Highly recommend

Well located within walking distance of the tavern and close to boulder beach which suited us

Massive accomodation could have slept 7 people over 2 levels and great view from upstairs and comfortable beds. Really great for a family

Wouldn’t suit an elderly couple if they were wanting to sleep upstairs which had the great view as stairs very narrow but they have the option to sleep downstairs but would not get the view. This wasn’t an issue for us.

Perfect little motel

Quaint stay close to town and boulders

Good base to access the Moeraki Boulders. Also make sure you have lunch at the fishwife. Great cod. Check opening times

Fantastic getaway

Location was beautiful, so nice and close to walk down to the beach. Great shower and very comfortable units.

The location was amazing. Great value for money and a nice motel.

The parking was a little tight for us having our boat, but we worked it out fairly easily. The beds were a little uncomfortable but overall I’d love to come back.

Unsuitable for senior citizens and anyone with mobility problems

Although dated, the facilities for cooking were good. The view of the sea from upstairs was good.

This property was on two levels with a steep open slat staircase with an incomplete handrail, linking the two floors. The vertical distances between the various steps were not constant. The bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom and toilet were downstairs. The staircase was hazardous and dangerous even in daytime, but very dangerous and nigh impossible for elderly people to contemplate negotiating in the middle of the night to use the toilet. Furthermore the light on the staircase was not working. My partner who was a little more agile, slept in the bed upstairs but I chose to sleep on the sofa in the living room because I could not risk using the staircase during the night. All three motel units here have a similar configuration. This motel has very dangerous features and I am surprised that it is permitted to offer accommodation. In England it would not be permitted. Senior citizens should not book to stay in this motel.

Comfort, warmth, quietness, tranquil, clean and excellent facilities.

The beds were comfortable, the lounge furniture was inviting and relaxing atmosphere right through and we just enjoyed the whole experience of staying there.

Set the standard for the rest of our stays in NZ as that was our first motel in our 11 days trip.

The staff was superb friendly. We arrived during the early winter storm. It was cold and wet. Good to be able to see the staff and he received and explained Ed things to us very clearly and told us how to adjust the room heater.

The queen bed seemed to have a hump in the middle. Not sure why.

Nice, calm « boutique » motel with beautiful view.

The motel room has two levels, bedrooms are in the upper level with a nice balcony. The view is very beautiful, just like the pictures. Calm, clean and all one needs for a comfortable stay.

The shower is rather old and on the groundlevel, not close to the bedrooms.
