It was a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had many extra special touches. The kitchen area is compact but provides everything you need. It is located in a beautiful mountain setting. Very peaceful and quiet. Great little sitting area outside. The hosts are very accomodating.

The owner was very responsive (we had an issue with the temperature which was immediately remedied), the room was clean, window shades up accentuated the woods around her home. Just beautiful! It was very quiet in the area. The owners are very quiet and we never saw them. The views driving in and being in the room are beautiful. LOTS of trees!! :) We saw chipmunks and multiple deer each morning.

Two things I didn't like that I believe are relevant to other visitors: 1) The price for the space is high. This is a 20' x 20' small apt. NOT a full kitchen: small fridge + microwave + toaster oven (clearly shown in the pictures). I was okay with it because I wanted something in Bailey, didn't really care as long as it was secluded and quiet. However, it doesn't make sense to charge the same for a 400 sq ft one-room apt that others in the same area are charging for a 3 BR house. 2) The "guest house" that is being offered is attached to the owners' home and they live there. Well, duh - of course someone lives in their own home. But the listing didn't make it clear that the "guest house" was not separate (my assumption, my bias, I admit). In my mind, this is a "mother-in-law suite". The owners were quiet and we never saw them. However, we could hear the phone ring through the vents, and it made us realize that they could probably hear us as well. I prefer being able to do my normal activities w/o someone else hearing. This cannot be changed, of course, but a price adjustment and clear listing verbiage would solve this problem.

This lovely apartment was perfect for a weekend getaway for my husband and me! It was cozy, immaculately clean, and tucked away in the mountains, away from city life. Connie was an amazing host, leaving us a gift of wine and snacks on our arrival and meeting our every need. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back in the future!

Excellent experience!

Well stocked with toiletries, amenities like heaters and fans, and a keurig. Also had a Roku with Netflix and Hulu among other channels.
