A great location with wonderful panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains, especially from the roof terrace. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the food, breakfast and the optional dinner are very good.

Driss is a friendly and attentive host who can help with anything, like organizing your entire trip to Toubkal.
The view from the rooftop terrace over the village Imlil and the mountains is stunning.
The food was good, especially the breakfast included a nice variety from olives and omelette to tasty honey and almond butter. We enjoyed the homely atmosphere and connecting with other guests.
The room was clean and decent for the price.
All together we loved our stay and enjoyed the charming village and surroundings of Imlil. We'd definitely recommend planning in several days as there is a lot to explore and beautiful places to chill.
Nice dinner is available but no menu card.

Beautiful riad, friendly and very helpful staff, and very good food - both breakfast and dinner. Best veggie tagine of our stay! Also, very nice shower - it was hot and had good power.
If you are very sensitive to noise, the rooms are not too well noise isolated, but didn’t bother us.

Amazing place wonderful hosts and very kind. The best of our stay in Morrocco. We also can't reccomend the food enough. Thanks Hassan and Driss!

Really beautiful location outside the center of imlil with the most beautiful views. Imlil center is a 20 minute walk as well
Driss is the host and he is also a tour guide so you could speak with him about taking you on any type of hike including mount toubkal.
The stay was lovely with great hosts. Nice rooms and good food. The mint tea was our favourite!
We did a hike with Driss and got to see all the villages and waterfalls around imlil.

Beautiful view from the terrace, caring friendly mountain guides hosts, authentic Berber village experience away from the touristy Imlil, generous homemade dinners you can order, a lot of trails, little balcony with view, the cute little lambs. Happy we chose to stay here
The bed was way too hard for me, but that's the preference. I'd also recommend bringing your bedding if you are picky. This is a no frills, backpacker type of place.

I think this was the most incredible find because of the host, location, and views. We arrived late at night and even then Driss cooked us some lovely food. We woke up to a fantastic view of the valley from our terrace before heading on a guided walk. Along the way, we heard about the history of the Berber people and stopped at a couple of excellent sights including the Imlil Cascades and villages for mint tea.
This stay is ideal for someone who wants an authentic experience amongst the Berber people in the High Atlas mountains.
We arrived in winter and it was cold but our room had a fire and the Chateau has additional heaters available on request

I would really recommend Atlas Chateau; we booked one of the family rooms and it was cosy and clean. We stayed in December so it was a bit chilly at night, but were given extra blankets.
Hassan and Driss were so hospitable and went the extra mile to make us feel at home.
It was quiet at night and they had hot showers too :)
The breakfast and dinner were also delicious.
Driss is a very knowledgeable mountain guide and helped us plan a very last minute 3 day hike around the three valleys with guide and mule.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Imlil and the surrounding area.

Very genuine, family-run business. Driss is an exceptionally attentive host. There is no menu because you ask for the options in the morning and you get a superb home-cooked meal in the evening.
The driveway is a little bit adventurous (only the last few hundred meters, you can park further away). It is an unpaved road on a slope with no guardrails and can get slippery when wet. But we managed with a small Fiat 500.

location was out of this world with simply stunning views from our room and the terrace. Driss was very helpful with his recommendations for local treks and the meal we had with him was delicious. The riad is situated above a Berber village which drops down to the valley floor with a short walk down to Imlil. Also the best mint tea!
The access road at night is tricky. By day totally fine !

Lovely place in the further end of the Imlil valley, with a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the whole valley. The riad is quite nice with definitely charm especially in the dining hall; rooms are essential, but cosy. The host, Driss, is a sweet person and tried his best to provide an attentive service despite we arrived during the end of ramadan. Nonetheless, we had some amazing dinners and breakfasts and really enjoyed staying here.
Make it a must to ask for clear directions to the place, especially if you arrive during the night hours. It can be very daunting (more like impossible) to locate the signpost. You just need to go straight until the very end of the road, but the last 150m are dust road making you wonder whether you are going in the right direction (you are).
