Superb

The host is a very nice person. Although he doesn't know English, he did everything to communicate with us. He cares much for the wellbeing of the guests and for the security. The perfect location - city center. The heating in the cold days.

Exceptional

It was no bother when we asked to drop our luggage before the check in time. The pension is very central but quiet. The bed was comfy and everything was very clean.

Great hotel to explore Jaen

Great location. Lovely room. Cute balcony. Friendly welcoming. Changed us to a bigger room with space for our bicycles. The host even showed me the correct way to carry a bicycle up te stairs!

Felt guilty ringing the bell to come back into the hotel early in the morning. Didn't want to wake the host. But he opened up quickly and without complaint.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff is very nice: I can't speak Spanish very well, but every night when I came back from my work commitments, the owner of Pension Martin chatted with me for 15-20 min to coach me a bit. I never spoke with him in English, but I think he knows it a little. The room was just the right size for a single guest. The room is cleaned thoroughly only after the guest leaves the room, every day only a quick cleaning is done and a change of towels on request. The location is great for visiting the centre of Jaen, very close to the cathedral and Plaza de la constitution. Free Wi-Fi.

Practical and good location

Martin was really nice and hospitable, assuming that the host is Martin. There was netflix and amazon on the tv. This accompanied us during the afternoon as almost whole Jaen was closed haha. Furthermore beautiful city and practical pension

It is a good location, close to everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and he gave us an upgraded room. He also helped to teach us some Spanish. Everything was clean and works perfectly - Thanks

Good central location, nice stay

Nice room with private bathroom. TV with Netflix available. Great central location.

Not a big problem per se, but you are not getting a key for the house's front door (only for the room). That means every single time you want to enter the property, you need to ring and wait for the owner to open the door.

Adequate for 1 night. Manager very helpful and friendly.

The man who ran the place was very helpful and friendly. We were traveling by bicycle and were able to carry them up to the room and keep them inside (no elevator).The location is very good if you want to be in the heart of Jaen. In Spain this often also means that bars and restaurants will be very lively and noisy until at least midnight. We were there on a Saturday night. There are several right next to the hotel.

This was a busy weekend in Jaen and therefore the $91 I spent on the room was pricey. I had originally booked it earlier and it was around $52 which would be more reasonable. We had a change of plans within the last 2 weeks and had to change dates and the price went up.

No parking but we manage to find free parking 10 mind walk away.

The Hostel Martin in is in a perfect location to explore Jaen. Loads of great restaurants and bars nearby and near the historic centre of town too.

Little problem parking but found a free car park around 10 mins walk away

Close to the center and confortable room.

1.- They dont give tou a key to the hostal. Whenever we went out we had to wait for a person to let us in. 2.- We asked for a double bed. When we got there the person who recived us , when he saw we were 2 men, asked us 4 times (counted) if we where sure we wanted a double bed while looking up and down at us.

Good budget Hotel

The owner is super friendly and he even upgraded us in a better room. The location is super central and you can walk everywhere. The room is very clean and was quiet by night. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to every Traveller.

There is no elevator in the building but its only 2 floors high so no problem
