Bonito retiro. Simples

A Casa do Castelo fica no topo de uma colina, com vista privilegiada sobre a região. O lugar é sossegado, o quarto onde fiquei beneficia da mesma vista e é bastante simpático. O restaurante do alojamento é muito bom. Apesar de ter chegado já no fim da hora do almoço, foram atenciosos e ainda serviram uma refeição simples, mas deliciosa. Fiquei com pena de ter ficado pouco tempo e não ter podido desfrutar do terraço.

Vi alguns comentários a elogiar o pequeno-almoço e tinha ficado com a ideia de que estaria incluído mas, de facto, não estava. Ali perto, a um sábado de manhã, pareceu haver pouca oferta, mas encontrámos uma tasca onde tinham carcaças e café - o essencial.

Beutiful location, romantic, quiet, relaxing (for those who love it).

Location: quiet place on the hill below the Castle (end-point, no traffic), with the church and few houses, romantic ambiente. Splendid view to the country below, even from parking place (you need car to reach here). We could sleep well. From the loft in roof you can even see the tower of Fatima cathedral. Primarily, we used it to visit Fatima (~20 minutes by car).

Everything was fine for us!

Lovely hotel and very interesting place to visit

Location. Easy parking. Staff friendly. Rooms immaculately clean and comfortable. Amazing views. Historic village to explore. Firm bed. Very helpful staff regarding luggage an accessibility

We arrived to find a beiftiful restaurant on the ground floor. It was a Friday in February at 5pm. The restaurant was not open that evening, I suppose because it was off season. And the village is quite secluded on the hilltop. Fortunately the staff had told us this prior to our arrival, so we brought our sandwiches. A meal in the restaurant would have been “ the icing on the cake “

Reserva aceitável mas nao deslumbrante

A dona é super simpática e explica tudo em relação à chegada etc. Até temos máquina de cafe, microondas, fruta e bolinhos para petiscar.

Um pouco aquém do esperado. Falha nas pequenas coisas. Passo a expor algumas: chuveiro não fica preso na base,falta de pequena prateleira para pousar as coisas no duche, falta 2a luz no espelho, ha interruptor mas não lâmpadas. No quarto, falta cadeira para pousar roupa e servir de apoio, os candeeiros sao giros mas falta a anilha que prende o abajour. De resto, ha estacionamento mas é uma dor de cabeça se houver missa... E acessos... Para carros pequenos, médios.

Foi bom mas precisam rever o cofre exterior ou o código partilhado

Gostei do quarto e da vista do terraço superior.

O cofre exterior não abria para poder entrar no quarto. Não sei se me foi dado o código correcto. Só por sorte consegui entrar no alojamento, porque vieram outras pessoas passado alguns minutos que já tinham chave exterior. Eu estava com um bebé à chuva sem conseguir obter a chave exterior.

Zeer goede accomodatie voor een redelijke prijs. Uiterst netjes, vriendelijke ontvangst, alle faciliteiten aanwezig. Prima om, zoals wij deden, op bedevaart naar Fatima te gaan. Ourém zelf is trouwens ook een mooi stadje.

Great night away with bar next door and restaurant.

Amazing location with spectacular views.

Only one hard small pillow each with no protective cover. No armchair to relax in. No kettle or coffee machine as promised for the morning arrived too late??

Food in the restaurant was excellent great chef.

Not much breakfast could have had some bread ham and cheese maybe.

Charming Hotel with a castle

This hotel is on a hilltop beside a castle, charming little village with spectacular views. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked it all, one of the highlights of the trip.

Excellent service and beautiful views!

The staff were amazing. Beatriz took great care of us. She helped to advise us with our plans and she made us feel very welcome. We have food alergies and she assisted us with arranging our dinner at the restaurant on site. Chef Rui was also very helpful and cooked us a wonderful meal which we enjoyed very much. The views and rooftop area were very special. We can't wait to return!

The beds were a little bit firm, (maybe a matress topper would be nice.) but this was a small thing.

Beautiful views

Excellent location with beautiful views from the windows. The bed was really comfortable, the wi-fi worked well and there was a terrace on the top floor where you could have some biscuits they left us for breakfast. Lovely staff.

We went late to bed (we went to a wedding party) and it's impossible to sleep after 7 am due to the church bells, the accommodation is right on the side of the church (this won't be a problem if you go to bed early as you will probably wake up early but we were hoping to sleep until late). The shower drain needs to be sorted out as the water was not draining during the shower.

Lovely room with great views, and a bonus roof deck.

Helpful staff, great room with fabulous view. Loved the bonus roof deck. Staff supplied us secure storage for our bicycles.

Sadly the restaurant was shut.

Exceptional

Super nice location, right on a Camino variant we were doing. Beatriz from the staff was very nice. Amazing to have a microwave and little biscuits, coffee and tea available.

Good room but noisy surroundings.

The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean.

The church bells ringing since 7 AM every 15 min. I couldn't sleep well since then.

Beautiful view of Ourem from our room's window. Lovely restaurant attached to the hôtel. The staff was very helpful.

Cozy stay in Castelo de Ourem

Very nice room, super clean and comfortable.

The shower needs a fix, because it’s either burning hot or cold. Other than that, very nice stay!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Even thought the restaurant was closed that left cakes and coffee so we could have breakfast in the morning. Also allowed for an early check-in

Pillows were very thin which make sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful views

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very beautiful and the decoration was amazing. Room size was also good and clean. Nice bathroom and shower. They have a very nice restaurant where we could have a nice dinner. The restaurant's staff was very friendly. The location is also great and we got a very nice view from our room. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful little streets, a castle and a church.

They showed us a nice terras where we could drink coffee or tea and eat a cookie but there is not coffee and we found a dead fly among the cookies. When the water from de coffee machine runs out, you must go back to your room to get some more. Nobody was there when we arrive and we had to call and wait for someone to come to give us a room. It was raining and we had to wait outside under the rain 🤨
