The hammocks and the view from the rooftop
The place has so much potential but it just feels pretty neglected. The common areas were dusty, pool wasn’t super clean, and our room wasn’t ready for us when we checked in. There’s no air conditioning, the showers aren’t good, and the kitchen is dirty and not super accommodating.

nice owner, good and relaxing vibes with a nice bar on top.
bed on top was a bit high to climb in

The staff didn't really know what they were doing. It was very confusing and the owner was kind of rude.

The pool was nice, and the room nice and cool. Loved the cats!
It's a bit of a walk from the beach

Nice pool and chilling area. 4 pers room was good. Our dog could stay and the staff liked her. Staff was really Nice.
Volunteers/staff did not know much about local activities. Food and water disappeared from the fridge (we were the only guests in the hostal). Bar upstairs was closed due to renovations. Owner threw a big pool party so a lot of noise untill late at night

The hotel is very nice and surprisingly quiet, although it has a bar on the roof and music on the ground floor. the staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful for all questions. The owner is an extremely pleasant person, she really takes care of everything and everyone. Hearty recommendation for this place!
WiFi does not work upstairs, also, the fan on the ceiling did not work in room 6, and the second, static one, is too noisy. That would have to be taken care of, because it's very hot without a fan.

The common areas were super cool. The terrace is a good spot to catch the sunset if you don't want to go for the beach. The place was mostly clean and nice. Staff was amazing during my stay.
The 6bed room is super crowded. I was there with 3 people and ot was ok, but if it's full, there is just two corners for backpacks and that's it. There were 2 fans, not enough for the heat in Taganga. The rooms with 4beds were a bit nicer, mire spacious, but still with just one fan for the entire room.

I really felt at home in that hostel. The staff was so nice. I miss them so much (Nataly, Cangri and the other volunteers).
The clients are mix of Colombian people and tourists, which is a nice mix.
I decided to make a bit of volunteering there, I really enjoyed it!
They also propose different activities that you can do in Taganga.
Finally, the bar and rooftops are so nice to enjoy a good beer or the sunset.
Gracias a todos, los extraño!

I liked the location. Only some minutes walking to the beach. The supertasty street-food in the evening is nearby. The bus to Santa Marta also stops nearby. The house has a nice design. The owner helped me much with receiving an international parcel.
It would be nice to include all stairs into the cleaning ;)
