Claire and Jörg are excellent hosts who made our stay in the area 10 times better than it would've been otherwise. They treat you like an extension of their family and go out of their way to help recommend itineraries that are not obvious. I really enjoyed our chats over breakfast about everything ranging from Basque country to world history to geopolitics. Thank you both :)

Our host Claire is wonderfully organised and helped us with places to visit in Biarritz and San Sebastian. The breakfast was excellent and it certainly is a place we would love to return to. Our room was one of the smaller rooms but it was still spacious and comfortably sized with a good bathroom. The garden with the 280-year-old Red Lebanese Cedar tree was a lovely setting for our breakfast and chilling out.
The shared small kitchenette for making tea and coffee could do with a refit.

Liked everything, beautiful old Basquaise house, warm and welcoming hostess, who helped us get to and from the station, great breakfast, comfy room, close to the town.

We had the pleasure of staying at your home, everything is so special and beautiful, but the most important thing was getting to know a couple with an outstanding welcome, generosity and extraordinary love of people. very charming and special breakfast in the garden next to the huge and amazing tree, the detailed explanations of where to travel and what to see in the area.

The warmth of the hosts is omnipresent in this b&b. Going from the wonderful top floor accessible room upto the breakfast. The latter was a unique setting at one large table convivially with other guests allowing to exchange experiences while trying the abondance of food and drinks that came with a personal touch (ao egg/cake/jam) while also getting some tips for local trips (restaurants/car park) and even some history provided by the host.
A place where we felt very welcome and would hope to be able to return one day.
NOTHING ! We have been staying in some hotels lately (5 on this Tour de France)n and typically there is always something even minor to remark on, but here even the smallest issues have immediately been overcome (extra glass for toothbrush/guidance in car park etc).

We had an excellent stay in the very complete family suite with air conditioning, WiFi, and a large modern bathroom. We were pleased to have a lift to the 4th floor and secure parking at the back of this historical Basque property. The experienced hosts-couple were warm and friendly, we felt at home from the moment we walked in. We used their wide knowledge of environment and history to our advantage. We began our day with their well provided breakfast on the terrace, or in the dining room with family paintings. It gave us a wonderful start of the day.
The location was superb, the family-suite was quiet, we had fine views of the Pyrenees and we were at walking distance to St.-Jean-de-Luz and restaurants. Had it been closer, we would be there more often.
