Our room was very comfortable with a great ensuite.
The noise from the road outside our bedroom. The accommodation was in another building on the other side of the road from the main hotel. Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived and we parked in the designated area and walked to the main reception.
7.0
Clean room, comfy bed hood shower and location
The room I has some road noise bit also light the plantation type shutters without curtains fo not keep out light
My preference is pitch black
With light off zi could still clearly see all around the room
This is a personal thing but did effect my stay

The room was really big. 4 of us in one room and we didn’t feel cramped at all.
Plenty of storage to put away outside coats, clothes, etc.
Clean and tidy.
Breakfast was wonderful

Lovely location. Great price for 4
Separate building to main one. Parking not next to accommodation either. A walk up the street with your smalls! Breakfast was an additional charge so we passed.
Room was tired. Needs a touch up of paint work. Only 1 pillow per bed, could have had done with another each

We loved the friendly welcome, the comfort and cleanliness of our room.
We attended a family wedding in another village, a cab company was recommended by the hotel who were absolutely perfect. Easy access to get back in to the hotel, it was rather late. Breakfast was amazing, all staff very attentive, thank you Matt & Sylvie plus staff of course.

the most amazing breakfast. staff were also exceptional. very attentive and nothing was too much
the family room hired was a lovely size but would have been useful to have a side light in the second bedroom area. also glasses for water or bottled water

Dog friendly rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff
Room was quite cold, shower was also cold (max temp was a little over luke warm)

Breakfast was good.
The problem was the heating didn't work. We complained and the owner sent someone to sort out. The heating worked for an hour and went off. My husband is a heart patient and he was so cold the entire night. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1night.

Friendly staff
Wifi not working due to a fault. Couldnt been fixed for duration of my staying, 2 nights. Shower had no pressure and although turned the temperature to the maximum it gave a lukewarm water.

Friendly affable host. Meet and greet to the annex was fine. Lovely location just far enough out of town centre. Excellent breakfast though at a cost.
The annexe block I was in was a little tight on space and a walk to the main hotel for breakfast may not be pleasant in cold/poor weather. Unfortunately some rowdy guests upstairs prevented most from a good nights sleep. Host dealt with the situation.

Breakfast was 5* plenty of everything, fruit, yogurts, cereals, cooked breakfast using quality ingredients
The people in the next room were very loud, shouting, slamming doors and running up and down the stairs til 1.30am , didn’t really get back to sleep after that. The owner had to come over to the block and tell them to be quiet.
Bed was a little small, but that’s personal preference as we have a super king at home!

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was convenient for the carpark.

The room was nice and staff are friendly that’s it.
Haven’t had breakfast yet but Gordon Ramsey himself would have to cook it and bring to our table to make up for the lack of sleep
We stayed here ready for our sons wedding the following day. The room we had was right on a busy road and was very noisy all night.
The other residents of the hotel where extremely inconsiderate, drunk and making loads of noise till 1:45am banging around smoking in the hall ways and generally being a nightmare.
I will never stay here again, I’d rather sleep in a tent on the M25 than stay here again

Willingness of the owner and colleagues to help and assist
Just a little traffic noise but not intrusive

the main building looked good but our annex block left a lot to be desired
it needed modernisation in the Anne we were in

Great breakfasts! Very friendly staff. Easy parking. Nice grounds (annex).
We stayed in the annex and although clean and roomy was a little run down and could do with a make-over.
