L’établissement est très propre. Un personnel très accueillant et agréable. Notre chambre était très spacieuse, agréable avec une vue magnifique sur le Fjord.
Bon Petit déjeuner .

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of the Loen Skylift (can't miss!). The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurants. We had the 3 course chef's menu for dinner and it was the best meal we had in Scandinavia! Our server, Tomas, explained the creative dishes perfectly and helped us select wine from a wonderful and extensive wine list. Hotel Alexandra provided us great stay in Loen!

For the price, it left a lot to be desired. Service, food, room quality, all around mediocre and caters 100% to tour groups. Norway isn’t cheap, but even so, this was the worst hotel/value for money we stayed in during our two week trip around Scandinavia.

The Personnel was serviceminded and friendly !
There was no option regarding cushions , no feather cushions avaiable , NOK 4.400.- a night & being a 4 star hotel, this should be basic.

I loved the whole atmosphere of the place, cleanliness, relaxing scents etc. I stayed between sunday and tuesday, so I had the hotel and the spa mostly for myself. It was perfect timing and all staff was very caring.
I didn't like that there was a lot of renovation works being done at the room upstairs. It was very noisy during the day, so that I couldn't take a nap and my dog was very stressed because of the banging and sewing sounds.

Absolutely wonderful breakfast. The hotel location was perfect and the hotel itself and the hotel grounds were gorgeous

very good breakfast , good spa facilities -nice snooker area - but all are charged with extra cost .
Not friendly stuff-- and not relaible - specially the front desk manager and Spa . We booked a high floor good view premium double bad room - and recived a low floor - one bad - hardly no view at the side ( and not the front good view rooms as showen in the booking pictures ) . When we clomplained - the manager offered two rooms at the same side - over the spa - one was realy old room - and the other was a kind of Suite - but again- on the very far side - over the roof of the spa - and for this room he wanted extra money - and bargained "market stile" for the cost .When we refused - he cut the cost by half!! We did not take it at the end as it did not worth the extra cost . The Spa lady charged us for a "holiday or weekend " extra cost over and beyond the Spa week day cost - saying it was a holliday in Norway that day . When we checked out we asked which holliday it was - and indeed we were advised that there was NO holiday (got the extra charge back - after a short argue ..) . Everything is extra charge at the hote

Staff was nice. The view was great.
We stayed at superior double but not sure what was superior about the room, standard rather small old room, not good value for the money.
