The location was good.
There are a number of dislikes at this property, very dusty inside, bins in kitchen and bathrooms dirty and no liners (and yet it was specified to be supplied), kitchen items and utensils dirty, showers not clean, kitchen sink water filter leaking under the sink and rusted. No tea towels in kitchen. Kitchen fridge shelving missing. All four bedroom wardrobes had owners items so not much space to place own items. Master bedroom bedside table lamp with no light globe. Vacuum cleaner full of rubbish and not emptied and mop with rusty handle, unsafe to use. Main toilet rubbish bin full of rubbish plus sink in this toilet had water leaking badly. Garage left untidy with items. Many lights inside and outside not working.

The house was dirty, bathrooms and bath both had to be cleaned before use.
Old food under couches, fans dirty
Lots of wear and tear.

Fantastic location, easy walk to shops and cafes. A quick 2 min walk to the beach. Accomodation very pet friendly.

We chose this site last minute and we wanted pet friendly property. Our dogs loved the large backyard to run around in. lots of dog beaches close by. we have holiday around here before so we know the area and this house is pretty central both to shops, cudgel creek, Hastings etc. AC both central and splits works nicely. all the lights work but there are many switches which seems not to do anything. the kitchen is adequate but needed a bit of organisation and upkeep. internet works great. quiet area and road noises are minimal after dark. large usable space, 2 lounge room allow kids and adults to have private space.
Previous review and comments are still accurate in terms of maintenance and tidiness. looks like there has been improvement since the photos and last year from what others have written. main issues are 1 of the 4 tv don’t work, 1 LED tv have bright spots issues, 1 has poor reception and nil digital channels. cleanliness is acceptable just. we weren’t able to access the garage as per owners via the agent which was a pain as we have 2 cars. There was some cleaning and repairs needed but nothing too major. lock box at front door don’t work.
3.5
The property was spacious and as we have three children, every child had their own bedroom which is a massive bonus. Plenty of yard space for our dogs too, which was perferct for the holiday and stay that we required.
Some of the facilities were average. The TV in the main room doesn't accept all channels. Things are quite basic but work for a family of 5 with two dogs. If you are after a WOW, this isn't the property for you.

space & location
The housekeeping was disappointing. The house wasn’t maintained well, floor was kind of sticky & dirty. There were bits of broken plates, sticky sauce or jam under the couch. Some of the remote controls didn’t work, due to flat batteries. The cover of the manhole in the master WIR is missing too.

very spacious,a great location private and quiet
The place was dirty had to clean when we got their bath and beautiful furniture was dirty and had a very strong odour all through plus an infestation of cockroaches
what a shame as it’s a beautiful home and very spacious
These things could easily be remedied with a little TLC

The light openness feel. The backyard was perfect for our small dog.
It could have been cleaner & the outdoor patio was not clean. We think maybe it had been vacant for awhile before our stay, even though we were unable to have an early check in for our arrival.

The Location was good, and the house was a good size, and had a lovely garden.
The house was not cleaned well, no tea towels left or any cleaning items such as cloths, bench spray, dishwashing liquid - only thing provided was dishwashing powder. Kitchen cupboards dirty and no doggy doo bin in back yard as stated in the welcome book. No access to garage provided. No Foxtel. Laundry fridge and dishwasher leaked quite substantially. House overall quite dusty especially ceiling fans.

Top location and perfect size home

air conditioning was great! so comfortable for sleeping and managing the humidity. undercover parking great for security and packing/unloading. plenty of outdoor seating undercover. 2 separate living rooms helped manage our group and guests. all rooms double-sized. extra fridge in huge laundry. lots of bedroom storage. main bedroom situated furthest from living areas. less than 10 minute walk to beach. walkable distance to supermarket and restaurants. only 10 minute drive to Kingscliff. plenty of kitchen bench space.
no laundry basket for washing. no instructions for oven (which was difficult to work out). oven was unexpectedly small. did not fit our baking dish. not enough crockery, cutlery and glassware. only 3 dishwasher tablets supplied for a one week stay? Staff responded with a small basket to substitute for laundry basket and also brought extra dishwasher tablets. the outdoor garbage bins had been left smelly by previous occupants - staff were quick to respond to solve this.

Location and its proximity to the beach
Worst place I ever lived. Leaky roof with lots of moulds and fungus in one of the rooms. Serious health scare lead to one part of the house unlivelable.

Pet friendly, location and tidy
It had a few scratches and the DVD didn't work in bedroom.

We have stayed in this property a number of times. It’s a well located, comfortable family house which is suitable for pets. We love the natural environment of Casuarina.
