Flighty dive, smell of hash coming in the window. Dirty outdated rooms with mouldy shower. No cornflakes as advertised

Nothing,
Rooms need cleaning and updating. Felt dirty. Walls need painting. Wasn't very relaxing or private. The mattress needs replacing as broken springs. Hairs in shower & funny smell. Would expect better quality for the price paid

As the name says, this is a budget hotel - it was okay for a quick stay. The room served its purpose. It was conveniently located, spacious with loads of storage and fairly clean.
The room could have been better sound proofed - I could hear noises from other rooms (talking voices, people opening and closing the doors, etc). It seemed like there was a party going on, I couldn't sleep well because of that. There were minor things, for example, I was not given a shower gel, although there were shampoo packets. The bathroom was poorly equipped, I would appreciate if there was a shelf or two as there was not much space for toiletries. It'd also be convenient to have hooks on the bathroom doors or in the room for hanging and drying towels. Bathroom light was really poor.

the reception was really welcoming and positive vibes, really nice location in the Centre 5 minutes walk from the train station. I was upgraded to a studio without even my request and that was the highlight of the night. thank you for your hospitality
the doors could be fitted better and the wifi signal should be more stronger on the last floor, otherwise a really good experience

Location was good as we had booked tickets for an evening at King George Hall.
No mattress, only foam sheets.
"Hotel" full of adolescent males and made you feel like it was more of an HMO than hotel/guest house. Did not feel I could leave valuables in the room.
Room very basic, headboard not attached to bed or wall.

Location was good for city centre
It was grubby. They have tried to decorate but poorly and there were stains down the walls

Absolutley nothing. I made a huge mistake not checking out the reviews on Booking.com and Google reviews prior to my stay. My advice to anybody who is thinking of staying here is don't bother. It doesn't matter how cheap it is. It really is that bad it's not worth risking. It's the worst place I have ever stopped in and I've been stopping in hotels for 30 years all around Europe.
Nothing at all. It's located in a terrible part of town. The place was more like a doss house/hostel than a professional hotel.
First of all, can I just say, The receptionist was rude and obnoxious when I arrived. He claimed he was expecting me between 08-00 and 09-00am? Why on earth would I arrive at that time when it states quite clearly on the booking confirmation that check in is between 16-00pm and 23.00pm. I arrived at the hotel at 5.30pm after a long day and did not expect such a hostile welcome. The way he spoke to me as a paying customer was nothing short of a disgrace and at that point I even considered walking out and finding somewhere else.
When I got to my room there was a half empty drinks can of the table. That begs the question - had the room even been cleaned? Surely a cleaner would have spotted that and taken it away. The room itself was poor and dated, but it is a low end, budget hotel, so I can handle that. What I can't handle is the fact that it may not of been cleaned. Were the sheets and covers fresh? Well they certainly didn't feel or smell that they had.
The main problem I had at the hotel was the unbearable noise. As soon as I got in my room all I could hear from the next room was somebody shouting down a phone or at shouting at somebody in the room. I'm not talking for a few minutes - this went on all through the night. Do these people actually have any respect for anybody else? I actually went out about 7pm and when I got back later in the evening this noise went on all through the night until I left in the morning. Then there was the banging of doors - every five minutes - somebody going in and out. I actually thought about getting up and leaving in the middle of the night it was that bad. It was absolutely ridiculous. I didn't get any sleep at all, I was that annoyed that I left at 7.30am, even though my train wasn't until 11.30.
