Excellent!

Mrs. Efthalia was very friendly, kind and polite. She cleans the rooms once every 2 days and tries to make everything as good as possible for her guests. She does not speak too much English but you can definitely understand each other. The property is 2 minutes away from the sea and some of the apartments have a small sea view. Also, there is a big market 2 minutes away and the main city walking street is 2-3 minutes away.

Nothing wrong with this property from my point of view.

Beautiful

Efthalia’s apartments were beautiful. Perfect location, close to the port for day trips and local beach. Efthalia was welcoming and very kind. I would highly recommend you stay here.

Forgettable area and apartment not for us

Lovely Greek lady welcomed us no English but managed to communicate details.Clean comfy bed

Ok for short stay lacking storage space and dressing table kettle and toaster on narrow dressing table so no room for toiletries small bathroom Beginning of season felt cost per night expansive re what was on offer

Greece at its best!!

We are a couple from the U.K. speak also Greek so we had the chance to feel 100% the Greek traditional experience! The location is perfect - very close to the beach, at the edge of the town but still quiet location! The whole building and the rooms are really beautiful! Mrs Efthalia (although she speaks only Greek) gives you the friendly attention which makes you feel that you are indeed in Greece! We could not ask for more! Regards from Salvatore + Tatiana!! 10/10

Average apartment in good location.

Very close to beach and town. Has a balcony. Rooms cleaned daily. Owner was very nice.

Can not recommend.

The property is well located for Nydri, both the town and the beach are within easy walking distance. The room was clean and neat. We were given a jar of very nice homemade honey on arrival.

The beds were unbelievably hard and uncomfortable, making it very difficult to sleep. There were also no extra blankets, sheets or pillows. The room was smaller than it appeared on the site and felt cramped for two people. The bathroom is tiny. The balcony is small and overlooked by many other balconies, and the stairs for another apartment are immediately adjacent. The air conditioning blew directly on the bed, which was uncomfortable if trying to keep the room cool enough to sleep. The air conditioning is also rigged to door sensors, meaning it turns off if the balcony door OR BATHROOM DOOR are open for more than five seconds. This meant that the bathroom was unbearably hot at all times. The shower is very small with a shower curtain that is always touching either the person showering or the toilet, The owner asks for a deposit by wire transfer on booking, and then requires the full balance in cash on arrival. Both of these arrangements seemed suspect. Due to a family emergency we had to leave the property a week early. There was no reduction in payment offered, we were pressured into paying the full balance immediately and there was suddenly a card machine available to take payment. The owner was quite rude at this point, and family members knocked on our door demanding payment. An unpleasant experience. We were aware the terms and conditions required full payment on cancellation, but it was disappointing not to have even a token reduction for cleaning/utilities not used. The parking is a few minutes walk away. It is locked by a chain and easy enough if one or two cars are using, but when it gets busy, the angles get challenging for anything but a very small car. The owner doesn't speak much English when interacting with you, but it is clear she understands a lot. This makes communicating and asking for anything very difficult. The owner likes to clean early in the morning and knocked on the door to ask us to leave, getting annoyed when we refused.

Good stay!

Excellent location just a short walk from beach, harbour and the main street yet quiet. Lovely lady who runs the house - friendly, keen to please, generous and kind. The room was spotlessly clean and was serviced every day. Nice balcony.

Position of the the air con unit means that it blows air over the bed making it tricky to get the temperature right at night.

Villa Efthalia is just a right place to stay in Nydri, Lefkada. The location is simply great, in a vicinity of absolutely everything and in a walking distance from the nearest city beach (literally 1 minute). The private parking is also secured, several steps away from the villa. The apartments (and the entire villa) are clean, specious enough, with comfy beds and with wonderful balconies full of flowers. There are the basic kitchen accessories, what we found satisfactory for our needs (and everyone else´s, if you are not aiming to make a feast). Cleanliness has to be underlined: towels were changed every other day, bed linen once in 3 days and the room was cleaned every day, and everything was carefully taken care by the host, Mrs. Efthalia. Mrs. Efthalia deserves a special mention in this review, because she is simply wonderful and outstanding person, who made our stay special and very pleasant. She is friendly, kind, attentive and always with a smile on her face. We had a feeling like visiting a family! We stayed at villa Efthalia for 10 days and during the whole time we did not have a single complaint. We can highly recommend Villa Efthalia and we rate this accommodation as exceptional. We have many reasons to come to Lefkada again, and Villa Efthalia, but especially Mrs. Efthalia, are definitely among these reasons.

Great holiday in Lefkada

Efthalia the owner was lovely and couldn't do enough for us, despite having no English, and we having no Greek. The place was kept spotless, the position was great, very close to beach, tavernas etc.

There was nothing we didn't like. Even the noisy frogs were entertaining!

Mrs. Efthalia was a super host, a very respectful woman and attentive to details, the AC worked perfectly, the room clean, the bathroom just as clean. We will go for sure 2nd time.

Fabulous accommodation, you will looked after with lots of love and care.

My husband and I went with our 2 young girls and we were greeted by the lady that looks after the apartments. I was so surprised that our rooms were cleaned on a daily basis with new bed sheets, bed made and new towels also. It was wonderful. One day when we came back to our room the lady (I can't remember her name!) had left us a homemade moussaka in our room, for me and the family, it was really special. The apartment was a good size and we had 3 lovely balcony's that looked out in 3 different directions. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning in both rooms. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach or a 10 minute walk in to the main strip on Nydri, where there was lots going on. The beaches were great, you can go really quiet and chilled, or use the local water sports, which were such good fun. I would recommend this accomodation to any family or couple. 10/10

There was nothing I didn't like about where we stayed, it was perfect.

We had a great stay here. I think it's the most flowery and colorful place in Nydri. The host, an old Greek Lady was lovely and so welcoming. She does not speak English, she knows only few words, but that was not a problem. We talk a lot and bonded during the stay and she helped us a lot with information about where to eat good food and to which beach to go and she made us feel at home. She also made sure we are comfortable and have everything we need in the apartment. The apartment had mosquito nets and also mosquito coils. We had hand sanitizer in the room and free masks. We did not cook in the apartment, but if we wanted to he had everything we need. The location was great, very close to the local beaches and close to the center of Nydri, not noisy and with an amazing view. We will come back for sure. I think if you want to have a Greek experience, you should choose this kind of place. It can be tricky to get to the location because of there are a lot of building, but it is on the same alley with the Delfini Hotel.
