the staff cancelled by booking upon arrival and told me to find another space because they are full. He further told me that the previous customer flight was cancel so they have keep the space for them.

I did not stay at the property!
It is at least 30mins from the airport. On arrival the first driveway was blocked by a broken down car. The second drive way was padlocked and the driveway was hilly and very hard to navigate with my luggage. The first room looked like a soldier barrack and the second room shown looked the same! No air conditioning!

Loud mongrels and its a filthy beautiful unkept property. Very uncomfortable wish I would have spent extra this wasn't even the cheapest. I travel often and everything about this place was deceiving inconvenient and inaccurate. Found a better place for the same price. Finished my trip elsewhere. I Loved the locals! Love Jamaica! Without the locals my trip would have been awful. Thank you Jamaica.
Disliked · Spoke calmly and direct about not being comfortable with no coverings on the windows me being a lone female traveler. He kept saying dont worry about it. It was a sheer sheet over a full open window that I could see straight through. Mongrels barking every minute alerting me somone was out my window. Unbearable heat in the room I know I was suffering from dehydration. Outside the room was much cooler than in. 2 feet of black mold on the wall... tub was filthy beds badly stained. I just want them to change their name...... This is NOT an African symbol I didn't see any... upon arrival you immediately feel tricked. The lady tried to strip the extra bed and even take the pillow from the room I had to immediately stop her and calm her down telling her please just leave the room alone you do not need to take apart the other bed because I was traveling alone. She said it was because she has to clean every day. She did not clean!! I over spent trying my best and everything just to stay away from this place that I paid to stay in. The guy asked me not to leave a bad review and I was not even thinking about leaving a review but I rather help someone else who needs to know

I would have liked an AC but I enjoyed conversations with the staff and we overlooked the AC

Location is less than 5km travel from the Montego Bay airport which is located on a hill. Right at the start of the hill is a Police Station which guarantees a safe and sound stay. Accessing this facility also grants you the opportunity to enjoy all amenities in Mobay like public beaches, commercial centers, bars and restaurants, clubs, local transportation street hawkers, jerk spots, kiosks and etc. Don’t forget to step out to enjoy the city’s night life. Furthermore, some rooms in the facility comes with quite a distant ocean view so inquire from the hostel staff about rooms. Loved everything about the property. It’s quite and calm with lots of trees and wind blow. Staff was warm welcoming and jovial and small trips and excursions were organized for a little fee. Property is a great value for money and highly recommended if one intends to visit for a short stay.
Not that I can think of.

Nothing, the place does not fit for any form of rental for human consumption, the place is run down and NEVER be up or posted as a rental guest house in no form or shape.
The place is down right nasty, smelled stink, dirty, old .
The yard full of dogs, old junk rusty cars parked for years on top of years, old junk garage garbage stuffs tide up in corners.
OVERALL THE PLACE IS A DISGRACED, PERIOD !!!!!.
I HAD ENDLESS AMOUNT OF PICS TO N VIDS TO SHOWN FOR RECORD.

Location, close to the highway and easy to get there.
Terrible customer service. I cannot believe I have ever seen (in all my years of travelling and staying at places) worse service. When we showed up at our check-in time of 5pm, we were already very exhausted from a long day of travelling and dealing with some craziness at the airport, the room was not ready yet.... even though we had explicitly confirmed with the property that we would be arriving between and 4 and 5pm. That is unacceptable. It strikes me as laziness and sheer utter contempt for paying customers.
Not only this, but the room was uncomfortably hot with no fan or air conditioner and we struggled to sleep that night. We also had to take the risk of parking a rental car outside on the street, even though there was some room on the property to park.
For the amount of money we spent on this property, I'd warn any potential future customers to know what you're getting yourself into, and try to find something better if you can.
For $50 USD you are most likely guaranteed: an uncomfortable stay, contempt for guests' check-in. Quite remarkable how much customer service and value have fallen these days.

The bath room tap was not working so you had to use a glass with water to brush your teeth.
Fix the bathroom tap so water comes from tap instead of using a glass.

Nothing
The fact that at the last minute I was told that the two room that I reserved was unavailable. I think that was very unprofessional.

African Symbol and Yoko are local treasures. They showed me around, including a free local secluded beach perfect for swimming or sunset, the recording studio and record shop (wow!) and pointed me toward amazing events - a local Agricultural festival on the mountain with wonderful food and music and THE annual commemorative Bad Friday Rasta event with family, dozens of local bands, spoken word, food, crafts and discussions impacting the community past and present. The recording studio is the second largest in Jamaica after Marley's. They both perform and tour. They are a true part of Jamaica itself.
There are mountain views in a garden setting with fruit trees including mango, jackfruit and ackee, and aloe pants. It's barely a 10 minute walk through a quiet, upscale neighborhood with beautiful homes and views of the beach, to local restaurants ranging from seafood on the water, to jerk at Scotchies, patties and curry, and to stores for daily needs. The local route taxi is easy to catch and cheap to catch downtown or for shopping at Whitter Plaza. My room was clean and bright, with a fridge and even a small glimpse of the ocean through the trees. The guest house truly utilizes sustainable practices.

I stayed in Negril and needed a room for one night to catch an early flight. 8 minute walk to Scotchies. The beach is right across the road. 12 minute drive to the airport. Great value. Yoko was kind, and the ride to the airport was very fair. There are some very nice homes in the neighbourhood. There was also a great view of the mountain.
Not the nicest looking room. It was adequate for one night and was very reasonably priced.

It was clean
Hard to find, unmarked. No parking, no hot water, Wi-Fi did not reach the room.

It was a really relaxed place to be. Was peaceful getting some work done from the wifi that worked better on the upstairs balcony, palm trees swaying in the warm breeze. The pool just has dirty rain water in the bottom, but there's a rocky beach a 10-min walk away, along with a few shops (small supermarket + Tastee Patties). Ask Symbol to show you his reggae music!
We were woken up several times by the very cute but very vocal dogs always chained in the yard.
3.5
It have a the basics and it's in a quite area
The wifi is very limited and you have to go outside for a connection. A local wall adaptor would have been nice to charge devices.
3.5
Politeness of hosts and the peace and quiet, apart from the dogs
It's a bit far out if no car. Walking to shop and back long and hot. Didn't have a kitchen so was expensive to eat and only a few shops to buy from. Expensive. No chairs for the tiny dining table. Tiniest of fridges, ever. No kettle but was given one by the hosts

The host himself is awesome !
He will take you around, if wanted and help whenever needed.
It is not advertized, but he owns a professional recording studio with record store.
Make sure to ask about it.
The vinyl collection is tremendous and if you want to record something or need guidance, for producing, you'll be in the best hands !

The owner is super friendly and got me water. It’s a nice property and not drastically far from the airport.
No sign outside property so finding it was a little confusing. The owner wasn’t there until way later on in the evening so payment and checking in wasn’t straight forward. Transport was minimal and the WiFi didn’t work.
2.5
Cleanness of the room and hospitality
A lot noise from the customers upstairs.

The staff here are very helpful! They actually helped me with my travel authorization, which I was unaware of. Sincerely appreciate their willingness to help.
