Overall we had a really nice stay at Corte Baldi

The location is perfect and the house is really nicely renovated thus keeping the old Italian style.

We were a bit disappointed about the breakfast since it was stated that there is breakfast at the property but it was actually served at the near cafe and it was only a cafe and croissant. Maybe this was the case because we were off season but nevertheless it should be stated clearly in case someone is expecting a good breakfast to start the day.

Directions to property were good and correspondence from the proprietor was good. This would have been great for a short

Unfortunately it wasn’t what we expected. I would have preferred a larger apartment with a balcony to sit out on when in the room. Was told about the charge for car parking after arrival and thought this was included in the price.

The room was very basic but clean. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Location was excellent for what we required.

Galatina was 104 degrees and I felt so fortunate that the air conditioning was excellent

The location was perfect, the breakfast was excellent, the host went out of her way to provide cheese for me and water.

Exceptional

We had a great stay here. The location is very central, with accessible parking around the corner. The breakfast was nice and the staff very helpful with additional requests we had throughout our stay. The best part was the room, which was decorated in a beautiful old style and very spacious and comfortable. The little balcony attached to our room was a favorite spot. I would highly recommend staying here.

The parking can be tricky to find at night because certain streets are closed to traffic, but we were provided very helpful instructions to navigate our way.

Great location, excellent host and great value.

Great property, right in the heart of the old town in Galatina. Alessandra is a most welcoming and helpful host. The residence is spotlessly clean and has everything you need, with a nice breakfast each morning. Excellent value also. I highly recommend this property.

Fabulous location and host

Alesandro is a very friendly & helpful host. Corte Baldi is a fabulous place. Steeped in history. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor and the bathroom are dated but scrupulously clean and comfy. Fabulous location and a great base for visiting Lecce and Otranto. Lovely breakfast pastries with delicious homemade jam. Highly recommended. The old historic centre of Galatina has real charm and Corte Baldi is surrounded by old palaces and interesting shops. There is a very interesting church (Chiasa Santa Caterina) that's definately worth a visit.

Oasis in the historic centre

Corte Baldi is a beautiful historic palazzo only minutes walk to main piazza and eateries all walking distance. Very central location in a beautiful courtyard. Our host Sandra was wonderful and the breakfast was one of the best we had on a Italy trip. The room we stayed in had a cute juliette balcony overlooking the lush green courtyard

Need to be careful of the one step in the bedroom at night leading to the bathroom

Tip-top central accommodation in an authentic, nicely renovated and decorated palace.

Excellent location, beautiful palace. The host is nice, helpful and adapts breakfast to each client. rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and tasteful decoration. very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean facilities. we also had a nice balcony. Parking in a garage around the corner was great.

Perfect spot in the heart of Galatina

Fresh fruits, fantastic croissants and real Italian espresso for breakfast everyday! Nice rooms with high ceilings. Fantastic balcony with view of orange and lemon trees. Recommend by our host Alessandra nearby restaurants were just amazing- I’ll Fienille and Tippo Zero. Private parking on site for just 5 Euro per night. Everything was great!
