Everything you can ask for. We had our 86 mother and our 11 month grandson. Space was perfect. Near by food and beach
If we get a chance we will be back.

We loved the house, great location to nature and great breweries.

The house was clean and nicely appointed. The furniture was low to the ground and not very comfortable for more elderly guests who would need more comfort sitting in the living room and kitchen area and master bedroom.

First of all, we stayed 2 weeks! There was plenty to do! We hiked (Mavericks, Quarry Park, McNee Ranch), the kids surfed (Tommy Tsunami lessons), and we ate so much seafood! The location of the house is perfect. Easy walk to coffee and of course gelato for the kids. It's wonderful to be there esp. during the weekdays. Musts are cafe mocha at The Press and gelato at Caffe Mexxa Luna. Do not miss La Costanera! We almost did. Princeton by the Sea is a special place and a must-do before word gets out!
The house was perfect for us; three bedrooms, and a good size kitchen. For a couple of nights in between, we shopped for dinner at Spangler's market. All fresh produce, meats, and dairy goods. It felt like a home for two weeks. We will miss our HMB adventure and look forward to the next one!

Loved our stay!
Very nice house, clean, comfortable beds, and well-stocked kitchen. And also dog-friendly! Great location, walking distance to Pillar Point Harbor. Only a block to The Press for a yummy, reasonably-priced breakfast. Our young adult children enjoyed the game room and trampoline. Definitely recommend for a family vacation.

Perfect for a quick getaway
The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. My teens loved the ping pong and foosball in the garage. Plenty of space for us to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet. We saw many people walking their dogs each day. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Rented bikes and had a lovely ride down the coast with beautiful scenery. Perfect spot for a short getaway. Might get bored as a family doing a whole week unless you plan to drive to other areas. This was the last two days of our week stay in San Francisco, so we welcomed the chill vibe. Our first day we got to watch the wind surfers which was really neat!

great location and amenities for a family
The location is excellent, with great access to shops and restaurants, as well as very nearby an excellent coffee/breakfast place (the Press). It's also very close to the beach, and surfing, so in the summer this could be an awesome location. The house was clean and had sufficient space to sleep several couples. Everything worked and appeared in good condition. The downside for our Christmas week here was that the living area is very sparsely furnished and not a great place to hang out with people; there are no rugs or pictures on the walls, and the fireplace is not available for use, so it feels empty and a bit depressing. Only a small dining table with hard chairs is available.
The garage is a nice space to hang out in especially with kids or a family group, with a good pingpong table and fussball and couches - but it is entirely unheated and while we were here it was cold and rainy, making this space quite uncomfortable. Half moon bay is known for cool foggy weather, so be aware.
Basically the place is very serviceable and could work well for a family, but is not the most fun place to spend much time in. Our communications with the host were excellent and clear and they checked in with us to be sure all was going well; we appreciated that. For the price, I expected something a little nicer, but it worked out well enough.

Recently stayed here for a weekend to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday with a few close friends. The location is amazing - walking distance to a number of great food places with outdoor seating (we had dinner at Old Princeton Landing - about a 12 minute walk - and brunch at a great cafe called the Press that's 2 blocks away), and a short drive (2 minutes) through back roads to get to a great beach/surf spot at Princeton Jetty. We were able to rent boards/wetsuits at Mavericks Surf Shop and get some surfing in as well!
Great communication with the property management, and the place was clean, spacious, and great to hang out in. We played ping pong, cooked in the kitchen, and played cards on the dining table. I do agree with another reviewer that the chairs were a little uncomfortable, but that's a pretty small issue, and obviously not enough to prevent us from playing cards for a few hours. The front and backyard does have astroturf, but it wasn't an issue for us. We did find parking on the street after filling the driveway, and we did have one neighbor make a snide remark to us despite us parking in front of the house and trying to be as respectful as possible, but it wasn't anything serious.
I do want to point out that the beds were awesome, very comfortable, and the blinds, at least in the room I was in, were great at keeping the light out and letting me sleep in. There were some annoying barking dogs throughout the night, so I would recommend a white noise app which helped drown it out. Regardless, if you want a good night's rest, this fits the bill.
Overall, it was a great experience, and would recommend since the location and house were excellent, and the hosts very responsive!

This was a near perfect family reunion. The house was the perfect size for us and the trampoline/fooseball were what sealed the deal on this house. The kitchen was nicely appointed with high end appliances and well equipped. The mattresses were VERY comfortable and the sheets of good quality. Although the house was thoroughly cleaned I cant give that category 5 stars as one of the bedrooms had a carpet that desperately needs cleaning as it smelled like vomit. This could have been an ideal getaway and time to bond with my grandchildren however I was distracted by numerous upsetting emails from the owner of the property regarding the pet fee I had prepaid with reservation deposit. I'd love to speak to someone from VRBO about this as it left a very bad taste in my mouth for booking through them again.

The location of this house is perfect to walking to restaurants, ice cream shop, looking at fishing boats. Pro:great beds, clean house, had everything we need except coffee filters and extra toilet paper which was fine because there’s a mini mart down the road. Nina ground coffee machine worked great, had shampoo conditioner and body wash, you can park 2 SUVs in driveway which was great because we had 3. Great toys for kids- fooseball table, ping pong table, extra little toys for kids, trampoline with a net.Con: no bbq, Apple TV was hard to figure out-only because we don’t use Apple TV at home,Table to eat-small but doable with 6 adults,(we brought a kids table for our 3 kids to eat at)Couches are different but we made it work. We brought extra camping chairs and set them up in the living roomOther than all that it was a great 3 days and great location and easy self check in

Very cozy place that’s waking distance to the harbor. I walked to Barbara’s Fish Trap in 10 minutes. We drove to Mavericks beach and looked at tide pools.
Pros: garage is a great chill area with a table tennis table and fusbol and couches
Trampoline
Rockin fast internet (600 down/18 up) with great wifi coverage due to the google wifi pods. My kids did remote learning and I was in multiple meetings all week
Hot water was pretty good
Neutral: sink in kitchen had a motion sensor on it which sometimes you would need to make extra effort to start the water.
I saw somewhere that they say 3 cars can fit in driveway, I was more comfortable with two
No cable tv, it’s a smart tv but I used my own roku.
Cons: hard to get house temperature right. I think it’s a little drafty so running the heater gets uneven and can lead to dry air. The master was on the cool side.
Pots/pans were metal and hard to clean, could have also used a few bigger serving plates
Not enough sitting areas in living room. We had seven people and couldn’t always relax in the living room (and that’s with three kids). One couch is deep. The chairs around the dining table aren’t very comfortable and the table is small.
Overall a very cozy and clean place that was a nice place for remote work in the morning and afternoon exploring.

Here are the points summarized back to the owner or rental company during our stay. They responded but did nothing to correct any problems during our stay itself.
- The kitchen is not fully stocked as promised in your VRBO posting. There was no salt, no pepper, no oil and other staple goods usually expected in this type of rental.
- The utensils in the kitchen are worn out, many of the the cups and bowls are chipped and the pots, pans and cooking trays are both worn and were filthy. They had to be scrubbed and thoroughly cleaned before use.
- The house would benefit from a doormat or two and a place to put shoes at the front door to help keep things clean.
- The washer does not work with the detergent provided as it does not dissolve in the detergent tray, the dryer filter was completely blocked and so the dryer was not operational, the dryer vent was detached and so the garage was filling with damp air (we cleaned the filter and fixed the detached vent temporarily - I recommend you get this properly serviced).
- The outside light does not work in the rear of the house and the trampoline is not anchored securely to the ground constituting a safety hazard in our view.
- The gopher / mole deterrents placed in the front and back yards are annoying as they make a buzzing noise for most of the night which has kept our light sleepers awake.
- Lastly, the rear neighbor has a dog that seems aggressive towards kids while they play in the back yard.
The location was great, our kids enjoyed playing with foosball and ping pong. If some updates were made, this would be a nice play to stay with a family.
