EVERYTHING. Peace. Sea. Fishing. The owner Alf was amazing. All facilities were impecable, I had a great time.
To come here and dislike something = there is something wrong with you. I have nothing to dislike. Everything was amazing!
4.8
Great accommodation in an exceptionally beautiful spot. Directly at the sea. We were also lucky that the weather and snow conditions were great - you couldn't ask for more.

place and nice apartment, and Mr. Alf is very helpful and explain about what to do

Apartment was very good, Alf super good, very helpful and kind.
Little too far away from the city. 2-3 hours drive.

Great Location, amazing Bungalow and super clean. Highly recommended.
Would be nice to have written instructions on how to start the sauna.

The location was very remote and away from any restaurants so we needed to cook our own food which was great we just didn’t realize that initially. There is a seasonal restaurant there but check the dates to make sure it’s open! It was an incredible stay, we felt immersed into Norway and the beauty was unbelievable. We watched the northern lights from the hot tub on the pier which was unreal! The host and hostess were so friendly and made the stay even better. Highly recommend!

Well-equipped spacious house was cozy. Views to the bay and mountains are fabulous. Good services for fishermen and excellent waters for fishing. Good hiking trails in the area.
The "grand mama's house" didn't match with the picture about the place we got from the web-pages. The house itself is very nice, but it is located at the front yard of the host family's home, and not equal quality with the houses shown at the web-pages. It would be fair to make this clear in the marketing material.

Very clean and nice rooms

Very comfortable room and great bathroom. The shared lounge space with mini fridge was a great place to relax while looking out over the water at the beginning and end of the day. Alf, who manages the place, was very communicative and accommodating.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet of being at the end of the road, but it is good to be aware that you are a little while out from the grocery stores and other restaurant options in Lyngseidet.

Absolutely wonderful reception and hospitality from Alf. His cooking was wonderful and we loved the Jacuzzi on the gangway. We had the place to ourselves, which made it extra comfortable

Everything ! Location is remote but precisely for that, the scenery is so beautiful, also the route getting there. The place is super well taken of by the owner, Alf, who is such a nice person , so attentive and such an excellent cook ! We are definitely coming back.

Stunning location in the Lyngen Alps. Apartment with three bedrooms was spacious, warm, and comfortable. Beautiful views of fijord. Dog sledding was an absolute win. My girls and I had a brilliant time. Totally worth the money. Snow shoeing up the valley near the lodge was also spectacular. We enjoyed the sauna in our apartment and then a quick dip in the fijord to cool off. Brilliant and memorable. Alf, the owner, is very good company and was very gracious always.
Not criticism, but if I returned: I would probably rent a car with good winter tires and cook for myself in the apartment. The meals were more expensive than I anticipated, with dessert and a glass of wine being costly extras. Alf is also so very busy with the hotel, the apartments, and all the cooking. He is an amazing one man band, but I don't know how he does it all. I worry about him.

location was amazing, very spacious apartment.

dead end of a street surrounded by mountains and water. Alf is a gracious host, full of resources to make guest experiences superb

Exceptional location. Alf was also fantastic and advised on cross country ski and dog sledding. Unique location for northern lights. One of our best stays over the last decade. Simply wow !!!
Nothing. Was simply great.

An excellent experience for my family -- HIGHLY recommended! Alf was available to meet all of our needs, from arranging a Dog Sledding Experience to taking us out fishing in the fjord with his brother.

The most stunning location you can imagine! The whole place was immaculate and so cosy, the perfect place to relax after a day if exploring. We were so lucky that we had a visit from Lady Aurora herself for both nights of our visit (late November) and being able to step outside and be surrounded by them, and dash inside for sauna breaks was simply unbeatable.
Alf was enjoying a well-earned break during our visit, so we were met and assisted by his brother who was kind and helpful (the slight language barrier was no problem, we chuckled our way through Google translate together). We would love to come back again, meet Alf himself and enjoy some delicious food on site!
You will Not beat this place, especially for the price!
Thank you so much Alf and family for an impeccable stay 😊
It was a bonus for us, not a dislike at all, but it's worth noticing that this location is remote, so plan ahead for supplies and trips

Very friendly and helpful host. Clean and bright apartment. Great place to come again.
Beds were a little bit too soft

It was raining. Roads To the destination are not in the Best shape.

The landlord was super kind and flexible! You will get great tips from him on your trips in the island. The apartment was also in the most stunning place! A magical place with excellent customer service in a peaceful area. I will come back for sure!

We made our own breakfast because of corona there wasn't buffet breakfast available.
