4.5
great room, good bar to sit in, great breakfast
the bathroom could do with a light above the mirror to assist with shaving and putting in lenses.

Lovely room. Food excellent. Staff lovely! Restaurant service too rushed for us & decor a bit tired in places downstairs. Didn’t tell us there would be a band playing, which wasn’t a problem for us, but may have been for others. Proper coffee in the room next time please.
See above.

Location for business. Quality of the outside areas, bar and restaurant were very good. Room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast with Jim the chef was fabulous.
Small things but they attending to. The hotel was refurbished a few ago and in places it shows. Bathroom floor is breaking up a little, just needs a repair. Bath plug hole was badly stained and needs a good clean, easy if you check properly.

The breakfast was value for money and very tasty. Full English was plentiful.
The room needed a dust behind the bed and walls.

Great to see a young staff who were all excellent, professional and friendly.
A busy pub with lots of locals, always a good sign.
Good food and a good wine list also.
Only downside was the sausage at breakfast!

Very nice place with beautiful room. Very helpful and polite personnel especially Aimee. Beautiful location and also very quiet. Highly recommend for everyone.

Great location for where I needed to be. I am generally up early and out by 7, so its hard to find a hotel with breakfast in the area. Great that the Queen's were able to do breakdfast.
It's all very British B&B style.....as one might expect(!)
Bar shut early on the Sunday night

Everything about this place was superb.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. We slept well.
The food was delicious, we had breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere and vibe were so warm.
I honestly can't think of anything. If you are expecting a silent night then this probably isn't for you. Noise stopped at around 11.30pm as the pub settled down. It wasn't overly loud though.

Lovely spacious room with quality fixtures and the bathroom was amazing..!!
Extra bed was a bit basic and not comply for 10 year old.

breakfast was not very well organised.

Quiet village location. Friendly and warm welcome. The hotel was attractively decorated with some exciting wallpapers. My room (2) was beautifully furnished including a comfy bed. The bathroom was a good size with a luxurious rain shower.
The breakfast - with only five rooms, there could be a really exciting breakfast menu but it was poor. No fruit offered. No teapots - just a cup of black tea brought to the table with milk available from the communal jug. Bread was limited to cheap sliced bread that went soggy under my scrambled egg (probably made with milk). Orange juice tasted like the concentrate version. The cooked breakfast choices were limited. It would be so much better if there had been some of the more contemporary options e.g. eggs benedict
Evening meal service was poor. I was sat in an alcove with no other diners - maybe some solo diners prefer being alone but I would have liked to have been with other guests. I was forgotten too many times - waiting for a drinks order, waiting to give order etc. Luckily other staff noticed and stepped in to look after me.
