We had a good stay at this renta

We booked this house with my parents for JMU graduation weekend. It was a beautiful setting with great decks. 20 min from JMU. Plenty of room for a group of 10. Pretty much anything you need in the kitchen. Driveway a little scary at first, but we got use to it. Would recommend.

I felt comfortable and would stay again. Driveway was steep and little scary. Love the game room with my favorite PacMan/Super Pacman.

The house is beautiful and very spacious, we loved having the 2 floors to spread out in and having 2 decks was wonderful. The kitchen was really nice and so well stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware and everything you would need in a kitchen! The cleanliness of the house needs to be addressed and some maintenance issues need to be resolved, but overall a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed your fantastic home!!! It was perfect for us for a weekend getaway for snow tubing and relaxing!!!

Our stay at Massanutten Resort was fantastic. This large (5-bedroom, 4-bath) cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. Every room was clean and maintained to the highest standard. We particularly enjoyed the large/modern kitchen, the large family room with comfortable leather couches, fireplace and large screen TV, and the fantastic game room with ping pong table, PACMAN machine, small piano and other games. The cabin’s layout with two Master Bedrooms and two furnished outside decks was perfect for accommodating a large group (two families) comfortably, ensuring privacy and space for everyone. We appreciated the attention to detail in the décor, which added a warm and welcoming touch. The WiFi was excellent. The location was perfect, very close to all the resort activities. The mountain views were exceptional. This cabin is highly recommended. We will stay here again on our next visit to Massanutten.

My entire family comfortably stayed here. We had room for all the fun hanging out we did! Dinner was easy to make in the kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms but bring the TP 🧻 and your hand soap. I’d stay here again!!

Left early ... filthiest rental unit we've EVER rented.
The unit was simply filthy. There was a used razor in the bathroom, shoes in a bedroom, dirty linen on one of the beds (I'm being kind and leaving out the gory details), a broken window downstairs, absolutely raggedy filthy rug in one of the bathrooms, fruit loops strewn on the kitchen floor, something gross going down the walls. I have photos of it all should you be interested. I contacted the manager immediately, we left after a couple of nights and all crammed into another rental we had. I've since reached out to the manager asking for an equitable refund, he said he reached out to the owner and waiting to hear from them; we departed on 6/12; there's been plenty of time for somebody to respond. There are plenty of options, choose another one.

- one of the rooms, advertised as a bedroom, doesn't have an actual wall separating it from the kitchen. Instead, it's a piece of furniture. Therefore, all the light, noise, smells, etc., are seen, heard, and smelled. It should not be considered a real room.
- there were ants and other bugs in various places in the house
- there were only 2 trashbags provided, no extra toilet paper, no dishwasher detergent.
- the location was great, and the resort amenities good for any age.
- point of contact worked to accomodate our requests, and we are grateful for their cooperation

We booked this property for Graduation weekend. The reviews were mixed, but we needed a property with 4 bedrooms & there was not much left. The house itself was very roomy. There was plenty of room for everyone. The furniture is dated and some of the beds were hard and not very comfortable. The description did not specify a few things that would've been helpful. There is a Keurig and regular coffee pot, two slice toaster, plenty of dishes, silverware, cups, wine glasses, etc. Pots and pans are limited, but it was enough to make breakfast. We didn't know if there would be these items, so we brought our Keurig, cups, plates, etc. which we really didn't need. THERE ARE NO GARBAGE BAGS AND TOILET PAPER. NOT ONE BAG!! Out of the 4 bathrooms, only one had TP. We read that in a review so we brought our own and garbage bags..thankfully. The worst part about this house is the driveway and location. It is in Massanutten, but its way way in there. Very dark roads and not really easy to get to. The driveway is a joke and extremely dangerous. I'm thankful my elderly father decided not to make the trip because he never would've found the place let alone make it down that driveway. Its not just that it is steep...I can handle that - the driveway looks like a gravel walkway. Plus you have to drive up and then straight down so you can't see if you are too far left or too far right. The left side has no barrier so if you are too far to the left - you are going down into the trees. The Right side has a brick wall which we almost hit twice. Do not attempt to arrive at night. First, you will never find it and second you could go right off the side. Then, once you do make it to the bottom - it levels off, BUT you have to try and turn around without going into the drop off that surrounds the driveway. Its truly horrible. There is no way more then 2 cars will fit and my brother has a pickup truck and could not fit. He had to park on the top of the hill above the house. The outside has no front or back yard. There are two decks out the back which are nice, but are really old and the drop off has to be 100 feet. We didn't want anyone hanging out outside on the deck because we didn't think it was safe. The outside furniture is crap! We had nice weather and it would've been nice to sit outside but we were stuck in the house. Lastly, find out where the garbage dumpster is before you get there-we never found it and had to take garbage with us.

My family and I were excited to rent a big house at Massanutten we usually rent the Mountainside Villas town houses. We were happier there and it cost less ! Renting the homes had extra fees $200+ . The home advertised NO PETS then we got there and got dog hair on our cloths , the manager said the owners were recently there . I spotted a roach running across the kitchen counter. The refrigerator was leaking onto all the shelves and the manager never sent anyone to fix and freezer was never cleaned out or cleaned . The oven wasn't cleaned . Had to sleep on hot flannel sheets in the Spring time. Entry & exit from the driveway is a safety issue and the railings on the top deck seemed a little shaky a heavy person may not want to lean on it to much. The decorations in home were a bit outdated also. We tried to work with the manager but didn't get a lot of help .
