Our philosophy is simple, when we take time away from work and travel outside of the country, we want to be in a space that is happy, comfortable and COMPLETELY LUXURIOUS! FYI, TURKS AND CAICOS REQUIRES TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR COVID. WE RECOMMEND ADDING PROTECTION FOR CANCELLATION FOR ANY REASON, IT IS A VERY SMALL UP CHARGE TO DO SO. WE USE SEVEN CORNERS.
WELCOME TO POOLSIDE GOSSIP a chic one bedroom condominium with jaw dropping 180 degree views of the ocean. Only 10 steps from our private terrace dive into the pool, one of two located on one of the largest verandas in Turks and Caicos. There are ONLY FOUR UNITS in La Vista that offer a separate one bedroom and are as large as our unit. Did I mention it is on the most private corner? We waited six years after passing on buying one of these rare floor plans for another one to be available again for sale in 2019. We did not settle for less, nor should you on your vacation!! We are thrilled to share ours with you!
We designed the interior of our home with the best of everything. Knowing we would be sending a container to the island one time, quality was essential. All of the seating is from Mitchell Gold, and the art has been curated from around the world. The mattresses are a true Tempurpedic in the master, and a top of the line Sealy in the Murphy bed. If you choose to lounge on one of the two sofas you can gaze at the ocean or watch the 55 inch Samsung smart tv. You will find the kitchen to be fully stocked with gourmet cookware and knives, beautiful table ware and all the small appliances you need to make smoothies or soufflés.
The master bedroom is a private retreat. Large windows with ocean views and palm trees casting dreamy pictures for you from your bed. The luxurious bedding is in the league of the finest homes, exceeding the quality found in even a five star hotel. Pillows are available in down or a down altrnative to suit your preference. Robes are provided to enjoy coffee on the terrace.
There is a pull down Murphy bed to accommodate four guests. Our condo has two bathrooms, one with an oversized glass enclosed shower, the second is a powder room. As our guest, travel size spa shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion will be provided upon your arrival to allow you time to settle in before shopping.
You will see from the pictures there are stairs thru the center of La Vista. The parking garage is located at the top of the complex below unit, no need to walk stairs simply take the elevator. Most units do not have elevator access. Pool, privacy, corner location, 1200 square feet and the additional expanse of the poolside terrace four steps from your private terrace.
Why did we choose the name Poolside Gossip? The inspiration for the interior design is an original print of the famous photograph by Slim Aaron's titled, Poolside Gossip shot in the 1970's in Palm Springs California. The pool and terrace at La Vista Azul is very similar to the photograph. It is a bit of American nostalgia brought to the islands!
You will enjoy art from Majorca Spain, Santa Fe New Mexico, London England, Nashville and Memphis Tennessee, and Montvale New Jersey throughout the condo. All original works, we hope the collection makes you smile, entices you to relax and ignites your imagination!

We love the location of La Vista Azul, on the quiet end of Grace Bay and Turtle Cove Marina. The central location makes all parts of the island easily accessible. Grocery and wine stores, world class shopping and beaches are at your fingertips .
Turtle Cove Marina is below La Vista and is a fabulous place to grab lunch, dinner or cocktails at one of many restaurants. Enjoy socializing and dining with locals and fellow travelers at The Shark Bite, Magnolias, voted best view on island, or Baci. All are an easy stroll from the unit. Ask to buy some fresh fish when the boats come into the marina to cook at the condo. If you are feeling adventurous, charter one and catch your own dinner!
BEACHES
There are beaches worth seeing in every direction. Each one is equally beautiful and all with their own unique personalities. GRACE BAY is always rated one of the Best in the World and not to be missed. A nice stroll will take you to GRACE BAY from our beach. We are partial to OUR BEACH and here is why! The views change to multimillion dollar homes dotting the beach .2 miles away. Homes not resorts means no tightly packed rows of chairs. They are replaced with sea gulls, natural beauty, soft sand, blue water, and very few people. We consider it a hidden treasure! You are also a stone throw from Smith reef for amazing snorkeling.
Take a walk and be right on GRACE BAY or choose a quick 2 minute drive will take you along the 16 mile beach.
We recommend visiting SAPODILLA BAY to experience the renown calm cove with brilliant water. Locals serve great drinks and sometimes specials from the grill. Opt to rent a jet ski, paddle board, to just walk out hundreds of yards in the shallow turquoise cove. Dine at Las Brisas for a great meal. You know you have found Sapodilla Bay when you see the restaurant sign. Both are 10 minutes away!
Traveling to the NORTH SHORE you will pass The Conch Shack and we highly recommend you stop for rum punch and conch cooked fresh from the shell. There is little development and lots of natural beauty on the North Shore. A completely different experience only 15 minutes away.
Popular with kite boarders, LONG BAY is known for riding horses along the beach and is only 10 minutes from the condo and an unforgettable adventure!

La Vista location lets you go everywhere on the island with the most flexibility. Although we have designed our condo so that you may not ever wish to leave, Provo is a big island. It is worth seeing as much as you can! Rent a car and experience everything Turks and Caicos has to offer.

Amy is a great hostess. Communication with her was easy and timely. The unit is beautiful, clean and perfectly situated in the complex. The ocean views and pool right there for you to wake up too. The kitchen had everything you needed and having the beach chairs and towels made our beach visits that much more enjoyable. We’d definitely choose to stay here again.

Coming to the island was an adventure. Location of property is fantastic with unparalleled views. Clean and fresh. Amy was a fantastic host and made sure that our every need was met. All of the staff at the property were friendly. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great property, spacious, clean, good tips from owners on restaurants and things to do. The only negative was that the instructions with the codes for the gate, the door and the WIFI were incorrect but was able to contact the owners to get the correct codes.

Everything was excellent - the condo was exactly as described. We loved the décor and it was perfect for my wife, teenage daughter, and myself. It had everything we needed and then some. The unit is only a few steps from the pool deck - perfectly situated to provide easy access while maintaining some privacy. The pools were great, and there were always plenty of poolside lounge chairs.
Multiple dining options are a short walk, with a couple of options on the same property as the condos. The nearest beach access is a little further - walking distance but you won't want to be carrying much (very easy to drive/park at the beach as an alternative). As described the closest beach is fantastic, especially if you want to snorkel. If you want to adventure to a few other beaches, most are within a 10-15 min drive. I strongly recommend renting a car - parking at the condo is easy, and the lot is gated. And there is typically parking anywhere you want to go.
After spending some time exploring the island, I was very happy we decided to stay near Turtle Cove - the perfect blend of things to do without dealing with the crowds near the resorts. Amy was very responsive and gave us plenty of tips on where to go and what to do. Made for a fantastic vacation!

From the moment we communicated with the hosts before actually booking, everything about the process and the property was a 10 out of 10! Beautifully-kept, totally comfortable and well-thought out, great location, large swimming pool 10 feet from the outdoor terrace...you couldn't ask for more! If/when you go, please respect the property and keep it as pristine as it is so when we book next time, I can write the same review!

We really enjoyed our stay and found the condo beautifully decorated, very clean with amazing ocean views. Lots of restaurants close by and we took day trips to sapodilla bay and Grace bay. Also walked to turtle cove beach which was unbelievable and remote. We can’t wait to return.

This place is as advertised. A small hiccup with check in dates mixup was resolved VERY quickly by phone. Great help from the hosts to recommend places to shop and eat. The place has everything you need to enjoy the island and explore the beaches. Spectacular views and well appointed apartment. We will keep this on the list of places to come back and recommend to friends.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful condo. Amy and Mike were gracious hosts ….. always available, helpful and communicative. Their place is exactly as the pictures display. Very comfortable bed and lovely linens. Close proximity to Smith’s reef, which has amazing snorkeling right off the beach! Highly recommend this VRBO. Will be returning for sure.

We drove around (lost like true newcomers) and could have easily walked down. Overall beautiful area, away from tourists, but close enough to drive to the popular areas in Provo. We loved it and the bed IS AWESOME!!

The property was very nice and comfortable for us. It is close (walking distance} to good restaurants both casual and upscale. There are good transportation options on the island if you are not interested in renting a vehicle. You will need some type of transportation to get to groceries and the larger shopping area.

The property was clean, offered a beautiful view, felt extremely safe, and was close to just about everything, that we never felt like we couldn’t do something. We would definitely stay here again.

My brother and i just returned from 5 nights in this beautiful condo. Its picture perfect. The location was perfect for us , we walked to beach everyday and packed sandwiches and beer and snorkeled for hours (Smith's Reef was amazing ).There were plenty of restaurants in walking distance or a short taxi away .Amy was extremely helpful with advise on day trips and she had beach chairs / cooler available to make our days care free.Cant wait to return very soon.

Great location for exploring with a car. Close to Turtle Cove and wonderful restaurants. Modern, well appointed condo with lovely linens, bathrobes and the most comfortable bed. Beach chairs included as well as cooler and floatation belts. Amy provided many great suggestions for restaurants, snorkeling and others. We would definitely recommend a stay at Poolside Gossip!

Perfect home base for exploring
Great location for this super clean and well laid out condo! Amy was awesome to deal with and super responsive. She gave great recommendations as well. While the location isn’t right on the water, the views were very nice and beach access was just a short drive. The unit worked well for my wife and I and two young girl’s (4 and 6). They loved the pool and hot tub. Overall a great value considering what it cost to stay right on Grace Bay.

Beautiful spot centrality located
Absolutely beautiful condo. Could not have asked for more. Amy was so easy to work with and helpful. The condo had everything i needed and it was two steps to the pool. Clean, bright, airy, nice deck, beautifully decorated. I wound up driving the few minutes to the beach, but it would be easily walkable too. Very nice restaurants that weren’t overly crowded just down at the base of the condo complex. Will definitely be going back.

Superb property in a great location
The apartment is amazing, beautifully decorated and in an ideal location for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the serenity of the pool which is literally right off the terrace. A short walk to several restaurants at the marina/Turtle Cove where you can find great food and Caribbean cocktails. Lastly, the beach - again, a short walk from the property to the wide open spaces of Grace Bay. We really enjoyed all aspects of the property and its location to everything we wanted to do on our 4 day getaway - highly recommended!

Incredible Views and Luxury
We were the first guests at Poolside Gossip, and we were blown away. The colors of everything were as bright or brighter than the pictures. It was amazing to be able to see the view and catch the breeze even while making sandwiches to take to the beach. We loved jumping in the pool after we rinsed sand off at the outdoor shower. The snorkeling at Smith Reef was a major highlight. I would never have known about this reef and it was so easy to get there from the condo. It was incredible what you could see just off the shore. There is a sandy entry point, but there are some rocks on the shore around the reef. You may want to pack some water shoes. The other beaches you can walk to from the condo are soft and sandy.
