Our home is beautifully presented, fully renovated with all new furnishings and décor. There are three large bedrooms, one with a King size bed and two with Queen size beds. There is a double sofa bed and an inflatable double mattress is also available. All linen and towels supplied. Master bedroom has an ensuite and there is a second family bathroom with a spacious spa bath. Can sleep up to 8 people.
The modern kitchen has all amenities, including gas hotplates, electric oven and new microwave, pod coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Along with tea, coffee and sugar, I have included a range of pantry staples such as flour, oil, vinegar, rice, pasta, tinned products, long life milk and cream and a range of dried herbs if you are keen to cook local produce. There is an island bench, and a wide range of platters, boards and bowls that make it perfect for entertaining.
The main lounge area has two 3-seater leather couches, a new 50” LCD television, DVD player and DVD’s. The sunroom has a sofa (bed) that looks out to the garden. Double sliding doors lead out from the sunroom to a covered timber alfresco deck with a private view of the beautiful native garden. There is an outdoor setting of table and chairs, a coffee table set, and a large gas BBQ. Off-street parking is available under a carport and there is plenty of parking outside the property.
Great location, overlooking Bendigo creek reserve, with walking tracks that cover all that Bendigo CBD has to offer. Less than 1KM from the Bendigo train station and CBD. Very clean and spacious. Loads of pantry staples. Great kitchen and lounge area and spacious bedrooms with super comfy beds. Would stay again. Loved Bendigo!

Havelin Cottage provided a really great place for us to stay and explore Bendigo. It was only a short distance from the city centre.
Being able to have the dog with us was also appreciated.

The inside of the house is as expected based on the description. The host is very lovely and responds asap. Our only feedback is hopefully the garden trees and shrubs are trimmed and maybe a secure gate that divides the front and backyard for your pet’s extra security. But other than that we enjoyed our stay!

A great host and a property that delivered everything on the description.
The access to the walking/riding trails was a pleasant surprise. Will be hiring a bike next stay to utilise this access to the town

The property was beautifully presented & everything one might need was provided. All the wonderful little thoughtful things were thought of, the snacks in the cupboards, the bathroom accessories etc. We just had a lovely relaxing time inside on the very rainy days we had.

The property was the best equipped place we have all ever stayed. The attention to detail of what we might need was universal and beyond. Great location, close to everything. Super comfortable and perfect for our ladies group.

We loved staying at this property with our little toy poodle. Excellent location close to the CBD and fantastic walking tracks across the road. The property was quiet and well stocked and maintained. The spa was an added bonus.

A lovely house, very well equipped. Warm, clean & tidy. Pet friendly but the garden needs some cleaning up. Okay for bigger dogs but our little one would get lost in the leaf litter.

The house is well located to the CBD, only 3 mins. by car or 19mins. walking. We found it clean and very tidy with all the amenities one would need.
Being located just out of town we found it very quiet and relaxing.
Will definitely look at staying again.

Very nicely decorated, dog friendly house. Great heating and lots of extra bathroom items, washer and dryer. Easy check-in.
Garden could benefit from some weeding. Listing states fully fenced, which it is, however there isn't a fence separating the back and front yard, our dogs were fine but might be worth noting.

Our second visit to this lovely comfortable home. Perfect base for a trip to Bendigo.

The house is large and very clean. When you shut the gate the dog can roam free in the yard. There’s a spa which is fantastic! The kitchen is fully equipped and couches are very comfortable.
Only slight negatives were that there were no coffee pods and Netflix didn’t work on the TV (used the laptop with HDMI).
Overall a beautiful house right near the centre of Bendigo. It’s also very close to the Brougham Arms which is a great pub with excellent food.

We stayed at Havlin House while attending The Ring Cycle in Bendigo. The house was warm and comfortable, but unfortunately during our stay the King bedroom leaked during a rainy period, with water landing on the mattress. We had to move the bed away from the wall. I called our contact and they arranged a quick fix, which worked to stop the leak. Great service, but it would have been better not to have had the leak!

Our stay at Havlin House was excellent. We had 3 couples and the house was as described. Location was excellent and only a short walk from the centre of town. The snacks and condiments etc in the kitchen were a real surprise and much appreciated. We will stay again.

This property is in a great position, within easy access to most places around Bendigo. It has plenty of room and is also very well equipped in the kitchen but also has quality hand wash, toiletries and additional little snacks. It has also been renovated and furnished beautifully throughout the house. We had a great stay here with everything we needed and supermarkets are also very close by.

The house was really comfortable with everything we needed. The back bedroom was lovely with a sliding door onto the deck with a really big comfy bed. It was wonderful that we could take our dog with us with a secure yard. Lovely quiet bush setting with walking path just across the road.

House is very well appointed with everything you need including some pantry staples. It's in a very good location, nice and quiet and right out the front is walking paths into town and the tramways museum. We certainly will be back again on our next family visit. My only comment would be that the backyard was quite overgrown (but Bendigo/Vic has had a heap of rain). Also some of the outdoor furniture needed cobwebs sweeping off them. In all those things did not distract from our stay.

A great location with in walking distance of Bendigo centre, gallery and restaurants. A nice house with very comfy beds and sofas and good bathrooms. Lovely outlook from king size bedroom into attractive backyard. Good kitchen very well supplied with crockery, cookware and generous staples. Dining table is high and narrow with high chairs which were a little hard for my parents in their 90s to manage but fine for us.

Lovely interior to this home, don't be put off by peeling paint on frontage and slightly overgrown lawn. Really comfy beds, beautiful decor with lots of thought put into creating a welcome space. Lovely extras of treats in the pantry 😊 only surprised by the dryer being full of the previous bookings linen.

Lovely clean and comfortable home, great for an extended stay. Super comfy beds and a lovely native garden which the birds loved to visit.

Can't fault anything about this property! It was very tastefully decorated, super clean, the bedding was lovely, and the beds were so super cosy and comfortable.
Great heating too! It was cold while we were there but the house would get toasty warm in minutes.
I'm very Princess and the Pea when it comes to beds and there was absolutely no complaints from me at all.
I loved that the kitchen had tea, coffee, sugar, salt, spices and oils etc., as well as some other pantry staples. The little basket of snacks in the pantry was lovely and much needed, and appreciated.
While we didn't end up cooking any meals while there, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook a fully meal.
There were just so many nice things about this place like the supply of lovely hand soap, body wash, quality shampoo and conditioner and the like.
Julie was a great host and easy to communicate with. I had to cancel the year prior due to COVID and that was no problem at all. As soon as I had my new dates I rebooked for 2022. I am hoping to stay at Havlin House again next year when I return.
One of my best experiences with any accommodation provider ever!

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage, nicely located with a great garden surround, that had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The property was easy to find and the keyless entry was easy to use. Place was very clean and although my adult son and I didn't cook, there was plenty of utensils and condiments including herbal teas and some breakfast cereals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certain book there again if in the area

Great spot with a lovely garden - and a really generous host
One of the best properties I've ever stayed in - and perfect for anyone with a dog. The kitchen supplies were extremely generous - as was bathroom and laundry - which made everything so much easier. Good beds and linen in a lovely place that felt like a home.
