About this house rental

From the moment you walk in the door you'll be captivated by the view. Our home is situated on one of Cape Coral's prettiest and largest lakes. It features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. A heated pool and a large dock for fishing or just relaxing by the water. The lanai has plenty of space to lay out and enjoy the sun or stay in the shade and entertain.

The kitchen features beautiful views of the lake. It has a margarita pass through window and also a sliding glass door for easy access while entertaining. There is plenty of tableware and cooking utensils for you to chose from. The kitchen has a 6 person table for indoor dining and the outside covered patio also has seating for 6.

The living room has a cozy leather couch and love seat for any lounging you may want to do. The living room has a 70 inch flat screen TV and DVD player for quiet movie nights or this can be a great place to gather with your fellow guests.

The master bedroom has a plush king size bed for a nice relaxing night of sleep . From the bed you have amazing views of the lake through the huge picture window. There is a large master closet to accommodate all your personal belongings. The bedroom also has a 55” flat screen TV for your enjoyment.

One of the guest bedrooms has a queen size bed facing a sliding glass door which over looks the spacious lanai and backdrop of the lake. This room also has a 47” flat screen TV for your enjoyment.

The third spare bedroom as two twin beds as well as a 42” flat screen TV.

The garage is equipped with a full size washer and dryer for your use. It also has 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, fishing poles with a loaded tackle box and 3 bicycles with helmets for your outdoor excursions. We provide all safety equipment for the bikes and kayaks. We have many different size life jackets from toddler to adult. The garage also had multiple beach chairs and a cooler to use for those amazing beach days.

The lanai has a Weber grill that you may use to cook some fabulous meals as well as a 50” wall mounted TV for you to enjoy while visiting the Mohave Lake Retreat.

Additional Notes For Fees During Stay:

For each week rented, we provide a $45 electricity allowance which is plenty to use pool heater, A/C and everything else in the house. This is to keep guests mindful of closing sliders to Lanai so a/c doesn't continue to run.

We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home on Lake Mojave. The house was spacious with a beautiful view. The pool was wonderful! They had all the extras you could hope for—kayaks, paddle boards, fishing gear, bikes, and all the beach gear you need. Thanks for a terrific vacation!

This trip was one that I took with my two oldest granddaughters 19 and 16. Just the three of us. I picked this house because it had kayaks, fishing poles, bicycles, and a pool. We mainly just used the fishing poles and the pool and if we had more time, because a week is never enough, I’m sure they would’ve gotten the kayaks out too. It was so great to come home every day after exploring the surrounding area and just swim in the pool with them. The three of us tried to think of a negative, and we couldn’t come up with anything. The only negative is we don’t live there full-time. This house had everything we needed and then some. The neighborhood is quiet and there isn’t a lot of traffic on the street outside. I would recommend this to every one of my family members and I hope to go back again and take my younger grandkids. Thank you so much for opening your house up to people. It was a trip that we will always remember.

My kids wanted a house to stay at where they could swim and do other activities. My kids went kayaking , paddle boarding, and fishing on the dock, they went on a short bike ride, and were in the swimming in the pool a lot. This house provided it all! It is a short drive to Sanibel Island, Fort Myers and we even drove up to Seista Keys for the day. The owners had beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for us to use for those days. Honestly you could just show up with clothes, food and sunblock because the owners provided everything else. I would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean and well kept, and the owners responded quickly to any questions I had. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Pool was great! House was very comfortable with everything we needed. The view of the lake was idyllic. We made good use of the water toys on the lake too! And rode the bikes around the neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked and comfortable to navigate with everything labeled. The owners were communicative, and we didn't want for anything!

Wonderful home with and dreamview over the lake. We enjoyed the day at the lanai and the beautful large pool. But the construction works across the street,new building, were very loud. In the evening when the construction works were over, started the neighbor with noisy gardening and working at his home.

"Christmas Week at the Lake - Perfect for Relaxing and Having Fun!” Our Christmas week at this lakeside rental was amazing! The calm atmosphere was a break from our regular routine. The views from the property were stunning, making it a great place to unwind and feel refreshed. Being outside was the best part. We had lots of space to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Whether we were sitting on the deck or just enjoying the sunshine. There were so many things to do! We went biking, kayaking, walking and we especially loved fishing and spent a lot of time doing it. We would definitely come back here again. We made so many great memories, and we're already thinking about our next visit to this perfect lakeside spot.

A house in which you immediately feel comfortable. You will find everything you need for cooking or relaxing. The swimming pool and covered terrace are perfect for enjoying the Florida heat. The area is quiet and is perfect for people who want to rest and enjoy the view of the lake, sunrises and sunsets. We would return without hesitation.

The location is perfect for driving to the islands. Grocery stores and restaurants are close with many choices available. Spent a lot of time in the pool and really enjoyed having the TV on the patio to enjoy during morning coffee. Neighborhood was nice and easy access to highways and the airport. We would rent again.

We really liked this rental property. Great patio and pool. In fact the only time we were inside was to sleep! Nicely appointed, very comfortable beds and best pillows ever. Good location. It was nice to have the lake as the “neighbor” behind the house. I would stay here again and have recommended to a friend for a stay next winter.

Our family loved our time here! It was hot and sultry which made for perfect pool weather! Josh was super responsive to our questions and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our vaca. The pool was great and the house had plenty of space for all of us. The fully stocked and labeled kitchen was a gem! The property was just what we were looking for to catch up with friends. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck. Most of our time was spent in the pool and lounging around the lanai. Stayed 8 days with 6 people ages 6-68. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Comfortable and fun home In a very quiet neighborhood. Not a far drive to entertainment. It is on fresh water so you'll catch mostly bass and no salt water fish if that's what you're after. However, one could easily take the rods and tackle and find a place to fish on salt water from shore.

We had a great time at Pelican! The home was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. There are bikes, kayaks and paddle boards available and we had a lot of fun on the lake. The owners were very responsive to questions. I highly recommend this property.

We were looking for a quiet vacation retreat. We got that. The house was as advertised. Very organized kitchen! All the drawers are clearly labeled ! We were concerned about what to expect as it was post Hurricane Ian and there were no reviews after that date. O need for concern the house was in good condition. Property owners were quick to respond. There are clear instructions throughout the home. The owners even bumped up the pool temp but it was a losing battle as we picked the coldest Dec in 40 years come to Fl. Normally its much warmer. My only suggestion is that the second bedroom carpet needs a quick steam clean. Still I give it a 5 star rating

This is our first time renting a VRBO and it was perfect! We were in town for a baseball tournament and the location to the fields was perfect. The house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 3. Our son loved being able to kayak over to friends who were staying nearby.
