About this cottage rental
1,000 sq ft. cottage, located on a seven acre, partially wooded property in the Catskills. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and sliding glass doors opening onto a deck and looking out towards the forest.
Two, private bedrooms with one queen and one full bed. Wood burning stove with plenty of firewood, and a stocked kitchen; everything you need for cooking gourmet meals.
Outside, we have a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a gas grill, and charcoal grill.
For entertainment, we offer a smart TV and high speed, broadband internet/wifi. We also have audiophile quality bluetooth speakers and turntable. Bring your records!

Cozy space to spend a girls’ weekend w my two college friends! Comfy and well decorated living and dining spaces, nice deck and firepit area in a well maintained yard, plenty of pots, utensils, plates, etc. for making dinners and staying in. Also close to Woodstock and Kingston--we enjoyed exploring both towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

mornings on the deck under the umbrella was a great way to start the day. powerful shower to help get me ready for hiking at the Ashkoban Reservoir and around the Brown Fountain. Not too far a drive to downtown Woodstock. Hickory BBQ has delicious food. Bring your streaming passwords for the smart TV. ceiling fan and air conditioners kept us comfortable.

What a lovely place to stay and relax. So beautiful, looking out on the trees surrounding the property, seeing the wildlife, and enjoying the calm. A very well equipped place to stay. Wonderful!

One of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed at! So very quiet and great views. Loved listening to all the birds sing outside. Check in/out was easy and the host left a book of things to do and attractions. Lots of little pluses like soap, condiments, multiple coffee makers, and puzzles! Deck looked brand new and cabin in great location near some nice walks/hikes. Great communication with the host! A very cozy retreat to relax and recharge! Plus our two dogs got to join us as well, they got to relax too!

This was something like our fourth stay in the cabin, and we continue to absolutely love it. Clean, comfy, cozy, aesthetically pleasing (Catskills + art), great kitchen equipment, really thoughtful and available property manager and hosts. Our little dog comes with me and my five-year-old daughter, and we're grateful she can -- and that the place doesn't scream "dog-friendly." If you don't have dogs, you won't realize that anyone else ever did. Beds and bedding clean, fragrance-free (per our request, but maybe always), cozy (feather beds!), and super comfortable. We sometimes have friends stay with us in the second bedroom, and they love it too. The fire pit and wood burning stove are both excellent, and wood is readily available. What else? Can't think of anything. We are huge fans!

We so enjoyed the quiet, off the beaten path of this location. Just what was ordered for rest and relaxation! Felt like I was back in my hometown driving in the country. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and many extras make this cabin a great find! You won’t regret choosing this property.

My husband and I and our elderly English Setter sought a quiet respite from 4th of July fireworks in suburban NY and this cottage had all we were hoping for. It was truly quiet! The place was spotless and so relaxing. With an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture and art, it appeals to our style and felt special. Double sliders and large windows bring in so much light that you can enjoy the outdoors even when it's raining, which it did for much of our stay. We did get in some good hikes, and the reservoir is a walk away down the road. Plus, the bed was very comfortable and air conditioning helped to dry out the damp. We would definitely enjoy coming again.

This house and property is gorgeous, quiet, and relaxing. We all loved our stay here. We did wish it was a bit closer to Woodstock as we had plans in town, but we would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely weekend!

What an amazing stay. We wanted a cabin retreat in the woods for our trip to the Catskills and this is exactly what we got. Incredible location, peaceful, quiet, green, pure escapism! A beautiful location and if you are thinking to book it - just do it - you won't regret it!

Had a wonderful weekend getaway here with partner and kid. This place was beautiful, well-appointed, and nicely located in a lovely quiet corner of the Catskills. The check-in and communication were all seamless. Would love to stay here again.

The place is nice and comfortable.
We did have issues. We advised the property MGR to correct them before the next guest. The refrigerator needs a thorough cleaning and had a bad vinegar smell. The garbage cans inside too.
Smelled VERY offensive. Hope that was dealt with. That should NOT happen.

If I ever go back to the Catskills I would want to stay at this cottage again. Very clean, lovely furnishings, great deck, the silence and the incredible view. It was perfect for us. Thank you for having us.

We loved it! Perfect Catskills get-away.
The "cottage" was perfect for our two-week Catskills vacation. Me and my 3-year-old took one bedroom and my sister stayed with us a few nights in the other -- both bedrooms (on opposite ends of main living area) had *excellent* beds, great lighting, their own A/Cs and well-screened windows, and were super comfy. The kitchen was outfitted with top-notch equipment, as good or better than what I use at home, and I love to cook. All excellent appliances, too. The main living area has its own very effective A/C (for when you need it) and tons of light. Our little dog was very happy. The property manager, Kim, was very responsive and helpful. The house book with ideas for shopping and local to-dos (along with essential house info) was also terrific. The aesthetic -- natural, woody, low-key artsy/antique-y -- suited us and we loved the wall art, too! We grilled; we made a fire in the fire pit; we swam; we walked the Ashokan Rail Trail. We will definitely stay again!

Quiet and beautiful
In a beautiful, woodsy clearing, the house was clean and comfortable with a great mix of vintage, antique, and contemporary furnishings. Wonderful, quiet place to unwind with an easy drive to many nearby leafy villages. My husband and I were there for six nights while we explored the area and were sad to leave!

Perfect getaway! You will love the privacy and calm setting!!
Our weekend stay was quiet, romantic, relaxing! The property manager communicated promptly. The check-in process was easy. The unit was very clean. The area, as a whole, is lovely and charming. If you are looking to getaway from the hussle and bustle, this is a great spot. Restaurants are not overly far but not extremely close. You are looking at about a 20 minute drive from the property. Depending on the time of the year you visit, you may not be up for the drive. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. I strongly recommend this unit. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect Catskills getaway
This cute, rural gem was just what we needed. Very clean. The large windows overlook a spacious yard and woods. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommend.

It is so comfortable and cozy.I had my dog with me and she loved it! She is used to being in a fenced yard, but did well on a lead. Serene and beautiful cabin
We had a beautiful week at the property. Charming, comfortable, close to the trails, amazing views and a short drive to other towns. The house is filled with light with a peaceful surrounding, the deck is great as well as the backyard. Good And easy communication with the owner, thank you, we will love to come back!!

Relaxing, quiet, lovely two weeks
We wanted to get away from the city in a quiet, green, comfortable house or cabin not far from hiking trails. This was perfect. The house is as pictured; it's spacious, filled with light, and cute, with really interesting furniture. The kitchen was very well-equipped. Everything worked well and the beds and sofa were comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning and the TV which has Netflix, etc. on it. We loved grilling, eating, and watching birds and wildlife from the large deck. The owner's house is on the property but you can't see it from the rental house. All you see is a large lawn surrounded by woods. Highly recommend!

Beautiful woodsy spot
We had a beautiful weekend. The cabin was clean and comfortable, kitchen well supplied for cooking. Beautiful deck, fire pit and backyard space with a woodsy backdrop. Owners were accommodating and great with communication. If traveling with kids, I’d be sure to bring some plastic ware for the kitchen and games, etc because there isn’t a stash there...but great stay overall!

We had the best vacations ever!
This beautiful and stylish house is located in a perfect area for hiking and exploring Catskills. It is simply wonderful, romantic, clean and quiet. In the morning all you hear is many different kinds of birds, and bumblebees. At night just a grill fire crackle or backyard fire pit. Dream vacations truly. Thank you so much for having us.
