Easy walking distance to a vast array of shopping and eateries in this historic German town. The rooms were well appointed and staff helpful. There was also very little street noise, which was surprising considering how close we were to the main road.
Unfortunately there was no way to fill the kettle except by glasses of water from the bathroom as the kettle did not fit under the tap. We felt that this was a bit disappointing, but also realise it is a design fault and cannot be fixed easily.

It’s a good and convenient location for where I needed to be the next day
Very impersonal - checked in by text both times I have stayed. This time I was told my room number and had to spend time looking for it in the dusk - made it difficult to find. I don’t mind being checked in by text but directions need to be more explicit. Some bizarre communication before I arrived - I requested a double bed and got a message telling me that if I wanted two beds I would face to contact them by phone and there would be a cost. I also felt it was very overpriced for facilities - I travel about 30 weeks a year and know very few places that don’t provide tissues or basic toiletries - both hotels that are much more expensive and much cheaper. Overall came across as budget at a higher price than I should have to pay for budget - and not very welcoming either.

Excellent location. Very affordable. Spacious. Clean.
There were no soaps, shampoos, etc and thankfully we brought our own. I discovered no toilet paper on the holder at a crucial time and this was mildly embarrassing to search for. The lights in the kitchen are sensor lights. Great for energy minimising but they would go seconds after I stopped moving. Frustrating!

The maintenance man accused my parter and I of breaking the spa. We stayed an extra hour so he could test it and assured it was fine. Minour inconvenience, but still an amazing stay thankyou ❤️

The loft apartment was very big, with the internal heater/fire keeping the large areas warm and cozy. Plenty of towels and all the amenities required were supplied.

We loved that the place was on the main street so we did not have to find off street parking. Everything I'd with in walking distance. The staffs communication was great. The rooms bathroom was huge, the showers water pressure was absolutely amazing. The bed was super comfortable too.
We didn't like the fact we could here every noise from the next room (we had a conjoint room).

The Hahndorf Motel is situated on the Main Street of Hahndorf, it is extremely convenient & you can walk up & down the street enjoying all that Hahndorf has to offer. Reception staff were lovely, the room was clean & spacious & the rates were very affordable.

Lovely room, a little dated which is in keeping with its location. Everything clean and working. Sophie and team are really helpful, easy check in. Will stay again. Great value and excellent location.

Right in the middle of town. Large room high ceilings. Huge comfy bed. Compared to other accommodation price is very reasonable.

The location was awesome, very nice bedroom with spa bath and pleasantries. There was a kitchen setup for general cooking. The beds were very comfy.
The door numbers confused us a little as there are 3 doorways in the one alley that you cant see from the outside.

It was a bit difficult getting into the shower via a large spa & despite running the hot water for a while, it remained cold, so i reluctantly accepted that a cold shower would be a healthy option but finally noticed the water warming up until it was a normal hot temperature.
The parking spot was not clear.
No real room for opening & accessing suitcases.
