Mario is truly a super host he goes above to make sure your stay is how you expect it should be. If you are looking to enjoy the Mazatlan Centro experience this house is perfectly located. One block to the beach and two blocks to many dinner options and entertainment.
We enjoyed being able to walk and not being forced to be dependent on taxis.

From the photos online we had a pretty good idea of what to expect in terms of the visual aspects of the casita but it wasn't until we walk into the nestled flat in the Historic District of Mazatlán that we understood the careful attention and appreciation that has been given to the place that offered such a visceral experience. From architectural layout, interior décor, bedroom accommodations, common space amenities, to the courtyard setup on each level, Casa Venus proved to have a bit of everything to make our stay comfortable. The Spanish-European feel of the place is evident from the moment you walk up to foyer characterized by vertically elongated wooden doors. Outside the home, the surrounding town was a delight to explore and discovering the eccentric one way cobble stone streets that maze throughout the district. Only a stone toss from the flat is the beach boardwalk that stretches for miles in either direction that offers restaurants, bars, street vendors, lounges, and other touristic attractions that pique ones interest. All in all, our stay at Casa Venus was comfortable, unique, and memorable. Vianey, our Host, was most attentive to our needs and made every effort to make sure that we were well taken care of. Her attentiveness made the difference. We'll cherish this trip for many years to come.

Perfect home in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything in historic centro. Great communication with owner, cleaners and management.
If I had to highlight one item it would be the swimming pool. The perfect size to relax in during hot mazatlan days.
I will be back.

We really liked this property. The living room decor is updated, it's better than the pictures show. It's nice and cozy. Very comfortable. The kitchen is older but sufficient. Updated floors as well. Perfect location right by the bus stop. Did I mention 2 master bedrooms??? A great choice for 2 families.

A little oasis in downtown Mazatlan
The house is beautiful. The remodel they did of this house is amazing. It’s one block from the beach and a couple of blocks from Plazuela Machado. Great location with great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Having a private pool makes the stay a little oasis, particularly during the pandemic. Communication with the host was flawless, they were constantly making sure everything was going well with our stay. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Mazatlan.
