About this house rental

One floor, 1200 square feet on a 1/2 acre on a quiet residential street. Convenient to the beach, great walks, close to Dairy Queen, Mexican, Thai and Italian Restaurant. Bedroom 1 has king bed, bedroom 2 has double and full crib, bedroom 3 has Queen and 1/2 bath. Bikes available. Backyard has grill . Large dining area, brand new kitchen, flat screen TV and wifi. Convenient to I-95 and Rt 9 and the train. Half way between the Coast Guard Academy and Yale.

Our family needed a house to stay in near Haddam Connecticut for a friend’s wedding. Rosemary’s house in Old Saybrook was the perfect place. We loved the area and quaint town near 95 and the beach. The house was clean and she provided all the amenities needed to feel like home. Our twin grandkids and our dog loved the large fenced in yard. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was in the home including toys for the kids. Her communication was awesome and we had a delightful time.

The home was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. The back deck and yard are so peaceful and private. The location was so close to all the many activities we (4 adult women) did. Very, very clean. We had a wonderful stay!

This home had what we needed. It was easy to find things around the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The large back yard is fenced-in, so our dog had plenty of space to run around. The location is great for children to play outside because of the family-friendly neighborhood. Easy drive to Mystic Aquarium and other attractions. Recommended.

Great location and great house. Everything we needed to be comfortable, not a single complaint. Rosemary was a great host. My pups loved the big backyard and playing in The leaves. Rosemary even had even put a water bowl down for them. It is wise I think for hosts to realize that it is often our pets comfort that leads us to seek out homes with yards as opposed to hotels. Thank you for your thoughtfulness :)

This was a beautiful place to stay! Well stocked kitchen, lovely fenced in yard with a deck. Great view of the yard though the sliding doors in the living room. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and a relaxing place to walk my dog. There's lots of places to eat in Old Saybrook and surrounding towns and there's a large grocery store in town. We stopped in at the Kate Hepburn museum on Main Street. We really enjoyed our stay!

I found the place to be very very nice, clean , location quiet which I wanted but close to activities if I wanted. The host of this property was great, accommodating, very helpful. Would love to stay again

Perfect! We stayed the week of Christmas with our 2 dogs. The open living/ dining/ kitchen was great for hosting a holiday meal and the kitchen has everything you need to do so. My pups loved the fenced in yard. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable yet close to everything. We all had a fantastic stay.

Very warm and inviting house in a quiet neighborhood setting. Great kitchen open to the dining and living room. Good sized bedrooms, large private deck and backyard. Host extremely responsive and accommodating. Even had a Christmas tree and lights for us to enjoy! Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Recommend highly.

This property was perfect for us. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. It had everything we needed to entertain. Paper goods and soap were there when we arrived. We enjoyed the outside space and the neighborhood was quite and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We appreciated having cable with Netflix and Prime. The host was very accessible and accommodating. We would definitely rent ther again!

We so enjoyed our week at your home. The neighborhood was fantastic-made us feel like neighbors immediately. The house was immaculate and far, far better than the pictures showed. Our little girl (Hanna, the dog) absolutely loved the backyard and not having to be tied up. If you are thinking of renting this home, do not hesitate-- I am VERY fussy, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed in any way.

I rented this property so that my children and grandchildren could finally get together after the pandemic. What a beautiful home and quiet neighborhood! You are close to everything in Old Saybrook and surrounding towns. My favorite place was the deck in the backyard. Beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculately clean, comfortable house, which was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is convenient to restaurants, stores and beaches, but is in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful, private backyard. The owner, Rosemary, was very helpful and easy to reach with any questions. We definitely hope to come back!

Wonderful, very comfortable, and clean property. Even better than pictures and descriptions listed. Everything was provided. Loved the backyard to sit outside with our coffee and the gas firepit at night. Great area with lots of stores/restaurants nearby. We would like to definitely make this at least a yearly thing! My husband, our dog and myself enjoyed our stay here so much. Just as described in ad. Beautiful fully fenced in yard and nice deck perfect for our pup and ourselves to enjoy. The house was so nicely decorated and Rosemary was so accommodating and responsive. Love the area and closeness to the beach and the other connecting towns also. Would definitely go back!

Rosemary’s home was immaculately clean. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. The kitchen is new and lovely. And we enjoyed spending time in the large fenced yard. The kids also enjoyed riding their bikes in the cul-de-sac. Neighborhood very family friendly. Rosemary was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. We also had a great time picking pumpkins at nearby Bishops Orchards. We would not hesitate to book again on our next trip to CT.

We absolutely loved our stay! Rosemary was a wonderful host. The house was pristine, recently remodeled with just the right amount of personal touch. The dressers are empty for you own belongings and all three bedrooms are very comfortable to be in! Nice bedding and pillows. The double bed in the kids room actually ended up being more comfortable than the master bed! The back yard was amazing. Photos don’t do it justice. We could not have been any happier. Heads up, if folks wanted to stay up while others went to bed, it might be a little loud because of the open floor plan. Thank you!

Rosemary was an amazing hostess, continuously checking up on us to see how we were doing, engaging in wonderful conversations, and answering any questions that popped up during our stay. The House was perfect for our family (two adults, one toddler and a dog)! The space was exactly what we needed for our trip: three bedrooms (one with a crib and changing table), a huge kitchen with work space, dining area, and living room…and HUGE backyard. Our son had a blast sprinting around the house, playing in the living room, and running amok in the backyard. We felt like we were at home from the minute we walked in the door and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We would definitely consider coming back to stay there for a summer escape when we can actually try out the beaches and take advantage of the town itself
