About this cabin rental
In real estate location is everything, and you won't find a better one than this wooded waterfront property on Lake Blue Ridge, with spectacular lake and mountain views, the best dock on the lake, and proximity to downtown and all the vacation activities you crave. Perfectly situated on the very desirable Horse Pointe Road just four miles from Blue Ridge's shops and restaurants and custom designed, built and decorated and with floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the view, Lodge on the Lake truly has the wow factor.
Decorated in a soothing color palate in a lodge/farmhouse by the lake style, this magnificent 19-year-old log home is light, bright and spacious, a welcoming retreat for family gatherings and getaways with friends in a spectacular setting. The open-plan main level features the family room, with two comfortable seating areas, a stone gas fireplace, and 55” TV and an oversized kitchen made for feeding a crowd. It's outfitted with Shaker-style cabinetry, charcoal countertops, a glass cooktop, electric stove/oven, fridge with icemaker, a crockpot, coffeemaker, and all the cooking and serving implements you need. There's seating for eight at the dining table and six at the counter.
Downstairs, there's a game room, also with gas fireplace and 55” TV, a ping pong table, a queen-size sleeper sofa, a game table, board games and plenty of seating. The cabin has four bedrooms, each with private bath. The upstairs master, with its wall of windows that makes you feel like you're sleeping in the trees, has a king bed, stone gas fireplace, 50” TV, and bath with double vanities, walk-in shower, and toilet closet. The main level bedroom has a queen bed and 32” TV, and both of the downstairs bedrooms have king beds and 43” TVs. Their en suite bathrooms have tub/shower combos. Kids will love sleeping in the twin beds in the open loft, which has a billiards table and a fabulous view.
But in this magnificent milieu, you'll want to spend as much time as possible outdoors, where you'll find chairs, rockers and lounges and to relax in, a fire table to warm you on chilly nights, a cornhole game, a gas grill, tables and chairs for your cookouts, and a four-seat hot tub, all overlooking the lake. Take the steps down to the bi-level dock, where you can swim or fish from the lower level, which can accommodate two waverunners and a 28' by 9.5' boat in deep water year-round. The partially covered upper deck offers a choice of sun or shade.
When you want to venture beyond the cabin, there's plenty to do. You can explore the coves along the lake and find rope swings, rent a pontoon boat, go tubing, kayaking, and fly fishing on the Toccoa River, and visit popular destinations like Mercier Orchards, Serenberry Vineyards, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. There are hiking trails, waterfalls and golf courses nearby, and it's five minutes by boat to the marina and Boat Dock Bar & Grill, for a meal or sunset cocktails on the lake.
At Lodge on the Lake, you'll also find ceiling fans throughout the house, WiFi, Roku for streaming on all TVs, a washer/dryer, and paved road and driveway, and most importantly, the promise of an unforgettable vacation filled with fun, adventure and the ultimate in relaxation.

It was close to perfect. We all enjoyed it very much.

We had a family Christmas at this beautiful lake house in Blue Ridge, GA. The picture windows made the house feel like we were bringing the outside in. Sitting outside on the deck and enjoying the firepit overlooking the lake was the best spot of the whole house. The property is beautiful with the mountain backdrop and the trees and lake in the forefront. The kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of room at the table with 10 of us. All bedrooms had a bathroom which was ideal. The downtown area is quaint and has a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from. Also had a great playground for the children. HIghly recommend this property.

Gorgeous lake and area, however be cautious with this company
The house is beautiful, clean and very comfortable for large groups. The house next door was being built during our stay. It is extremely close to the master bedroom and was almost unbearable at times. It was not the quiet vacation in the mountains we were looking for. This should have been disclosed in advance. The staff was very nice, however the house is not being maintained well, the ad is deceitful. The water line looks nothing like the picture, we expected to be able to walk in and out as described. The hot tub had 1 jet out of the 4 seats that worked. We paid a very high price per night compared to your average rate. With the construction going on and the hot tub barely working, I was more than disappointed.

Lodge on the lake stay
The house is very well located, not only because of the lake, but because it’s also close by to shopping centers and the center of Blue Ridge. The furnishing is a little dated, and some of the appliances could certainly be replaced, however, the house does have a cozy feeling to it. The toilet in the master bedroom and one of the sinks have very low water pressure, so you have to hold the toilet handle down for seconds in order to completely flush the toilet. The ping-pong and pool tables are a great plus for hours of fun play. The stairs to the docks have plenty of landings; so that is not so tiring going up and down the stairs, and lastly but by no means less, the property’s manager has great communication skills and is super nice. Overall a great place to vacation with your family and make wonderful memories.

Best location on Lake Blue Ridge!
We loved Lodge on the Lake! Sparkling clean, stocked nicely, furnishings comfortable (especially the beds!). We rented a pontoon boat which was delivered to us by Blue Ridge Boat rentals (awesome folks also!). We fished, tubed despite the cold, and cruised. We visited Dahlonega, Helen, Blairsville and Ellijay. We took scenic drives, saw three waterfalls, zip lined at Amicalola State Park, ate great food (highly recommend Jim’s Smokin BBQ and the Roof), played epic games of Uno, cooked great meals on a well stocked kitchen, and spent quality family time. Highly recommend to others. This home is worth the price. We would definitely come back in the warmer weather for another round of tubing. My teens couldn’t get enough. After driving all around the lake, this is the section to be in!! Five Stars all the way!

Wonderful
We're just returning from our stay at Lodge on the Lake. The cabin and views are beautiful. The beds were clean and comfortable. I really liked that the bedrooms had their own private bath. The kitchen was well stocked with everything for cooking and grilling. The upper and lower deck had seating for everyone. They were working on a couple of properties in close proximity, but we were up early so the noise didn't bother us. We enjoyed our stay so much that we requested an extra day and the owner was gracious and adjusted her families arrival for us to have one more day. Thank you so much! Overall, I would definitely recommend Lodge on the Lake.

The check-in process was very easy. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had everything we needed. The 2 story dock was great and there were plenty of activities in the cabin. Great family/friends trip.
