About this cabin rental
Enjoy the tranquil sounds of the Red River right from your back door!
This house sits right along the river featuring a flagstone patio, fire pit, log chairs, and a gas grill. Grab your fishing pole and get ready to catch tonight’s dinner!
The owners had the cabin decorated with high-end furniture as well as alpine-inspired decor. Upon entering the living room your eye will naturally gravitate toward these inspired furnishings, a wood-burning fireplace that features a hearth built of rock. When you aren’t outside enjoying the mountain air or gazing out to the beautiful surroundings of nature from the living room, try your hand at one of the games we have for you at our game table, or relax in front of the flat-screen TV watching Dish Network (including America's Top 250), a movie with the provided DVD/VCR player or a streaming device that you bring from home.
The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, including both a regular coffee maker, a Keurig and an air fryer that opens to the living room and dining room.
Once our guests are tuckered out for the day, they can retreat to 3 bedrooms. The master suite is located right off the living room and features a king-size bed and its own fireplace. The ensuite bathroom features a jacuzzi tub and shower. Streamside Retreat utilizes a tankless hot water system to provide guests with all of the hot water they may want during their stay.
The second bedroom features bunk beds with a full-size bunk on the bottom, twin on top and a queen-size log bed as well. The room can easily sleep up to five guests.
The third bedroom features a queen bed as well that opens to a private sunroom. In between the 2 guest rooms is a shared bathroom with a tub/shower as well as a washer and dryer.
Right off of the third bedroom is a small room with a view of the river! In this room, there is a futon sleeper that sleeps two extra people for those that have larger families. For super large families, the cabin has a rollaway bed that can be made out in any room to sleep an additional person.
Guests can either enjoy the views of the river from the back porch which is made of slate stone, with charismatic tree stumps to rest on as they enjoy the outdoor fire pit. If resting on tree stumps is not your style, there are various wooden chairs and rockers to choose from. During the warmer months, you can catch some rays on the sundeck that is located on top of the house. Stay warm on those beautiful evenings with the sundeck propane fire pit. To get to the sundeck, guests will go up the steel spiral staircase located right off the back porch.
Guests love the convenience of this in-town luxury cabin. It is located about a 1/4 mile to the chair lifts or downtown events and activities. No need to drive...You can take the FREE on-demand Red River shuttle. It will pick you up at your front door and take you to any ski lift or go to town for a quick lunch or day of shopping.
All reservations are subject to our rental terms and conditions and cancellation/refund policy. In the event of a cancelation, merchant service charges are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please reach out prior to your stay.
This property is pet-friendly and features a fenced dog run area on the side of the home. This property accepts two dogs under 100 lbs. with $125 nonrefundable pet fee, due at the time of check in.

Cabin apparently needs quite a bit of updating and repair. Sinks did not drain properly. Refrigerator went out on us so we had to use coolers for food storage. Oven does not work either. Mattresses seemed old and soft. Stayed at this property a year ago and nothing had been taken care of in the last year. The property is definitely not worth the higher price we paid for rental.

The house is nice just right next to the main road in and out of the neighborhood. Also, had a problem with a bathtub. Called to get it fixed and the plumber came out but said it’s a big job and couldn’t fix it that day!

It was a great place to spend quality family time. The home was very welcoming and felt at home. Will defiantly recommend this to other family members and friends. Thank you for everything.

This house was the perfect size for our extended family and fur babies. We loved being able to sit and listen to the stream running in the evening while the kids fished. Town was just a short walk away. Unfortunately the impact of the wildfires meant that activities in Red River were limited.

We loved the location of the property next to the stream. Although it’s not mountain-adjacent, it was very close to all amenities. Getting around was not an issue. Would not hesitate to stay in this property again.

The day we got there the River was being stocked with trout. The guys had no problem catching trout all during our stay. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and about 3 minutes from Red River. We brought back wonderful memories.

The property is nice and cozy. There are a few things that were unexpected such as:
The home back up to the main road and next
to the entry way of the neighborhood. The noise of vehicles can be heard all day especially in the master bedroom. I found people will walk around all hours of the night which is unsettling.
You can only reach the patio by going through the master or 2nd bedroom.
Trash was left in the kitchen trash can to include a dead mouse. No trash bags were left at property.
Cleanliness was okay. They’re An abundance of cob webs inside and outside the property.
The gate of the dog run was not well kept so I didn’t utilize it.
The property backs up to the creek which is awesome. We say chipmunks, ducks, fish and deer during our stay. The only downside is there is no privacy. The creek attracts a lot of fishermen all times of day.
We visited on the busy Labor Day weekend. All and all it’s a nice home and I may stay again a slower time of year for Red River.

My family had a great experience fishing right out our back door and down the river with lots of public access. The fire pit was a hit each night. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen equipment. The gas grill worked perfectly.
