Enjoy this fully furnished home with 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms + loft bedroom + queen pullout couch) and 2 baths. Sleeps 12 comfortably. Large deck with plenty of seating to take in the great view of the lake while grilling. Situated in a family friendly cove with deep water. Perfect for your family/friends vacation. Close to local grocery stores, golf course, movie theater, and restaurants. The private dock has a covered slip (up to 24') for your boat/PWC, as well as room for you to enjoy all of your lakeside outdoor activities; fishing, swimming , kayaking, or just enjoying the relaxed setting. Enjoy this home any time of the year as the lake offers 4 distinct seasons, each one bringing a refreshing change of pace.

This was a lovely home to rent! The cove was very family friendly and easy to swim as well as float around. The house you could tell was well cleaned and maintained. Wonderful setting for our family get together and looking forward to coming back again!!

Positives/To be celebrated: This property offers great water enjoyment on the lake- including fishing, kayaking, and general swimming with inner tubes and the floating Lilly pad for kids. The owners have several games offered for family fun around the living room. We enjoyed this very much. Bathrooms were clean and kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Could be better/Better managed: The stairs to the loft were much steeper than photos convey online and were a bit of a safety hazard for my young nephew and niece. This communication would be helpful. I might suggest using fly traps somewhere as there were a fair amount of flies in the house when we arrived. Would also suggest having more of the cobwebs cleaned off of the porch furniture and dock before guests arrive, but realize it’s also nature and there’s only so much you can do. The guests before our stay smoked on the property and there were cigarette butts around the grounds, unfortunately. Hard to see unless looking more closely so I can understand why the cleaning crew missed this. Overall, it was a very nice time to spend with family and enjoy the kayaks + dock for lots of fishing. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This was a great place to stay, the pictures make it look bigger than it really was, and the only downside was that the dock only had three deck chairs for a house that sleeps 12. I would definitely recommend increasing that as it’s not conducive to using the dock with a large group. Also, the coffee pot is only to be used with bottled water but I didn’t see that anywhere prior to checking in—-would have been helpful. Location was great and easy access to grocery stores. Overall, we would consider staying here again… But the chairs issue was somewhat frustrating.

The cove location was great for swimming & floating. The large deck and plenty of outdoor seating was another plus! However, the parking was tight and the loft stairway was steep. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I loved this property. It had plenty of space so it didn’t feel crowded. The area was great for fishing. We also really enjoyed all of the outdoor seating so we could all sit together. :)

House was good. It appeared bigger in the pictures but the cove location was a great place to stay and swim. Especially for kids. Rental manager was very easy to work with.

Our three families--6 adults, 6 children ages 4 - 14--had a wonderful week at Whit's End. The home accommodated the twelve of us easily, the location on the lake was great. Besides a quiet cove for swimming and relaxing, it is easily accessible to rentals of pontoons or jet skis. The large deck provided ample space for meals, games, and relaxation.

House was clean, beds comfortable and well equipped. Walk to the doc was easy. Parking was tight but doable. Laurie is a small town near and has everything we needed - like big grocery store and few other stores. Boat doc is within 10 miles of the rental. Short boat ride to a few local restaurants. The owner is quick to answer questions. Check in was easy. The cove is quiet and just be a local favorite because on the weekend bigger boats would come in - park and swim. It was nice to be near the back of the cove - make kayaking and paddle boarding a little safer. The owner had life jackets and other water toys available if needed. We didn’t use them because we had our own. Definitely would stay again. Ty

Perfect location on the lake for touring with a boat then swimming, floating and kayaking off of a very nice dock The home was spacious with comfortable beds and equipped kitchen. The deck had many chairs and the grill very clean. I would recommend this home.

The use of the dock/kayaks was really nice. The house is nice and in a great location. The only downfall is the stairs to the loft, these are very steep so not suitable for older individuals. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed staying at this property very much. The back deck is amazing and we spent so much time sitting out in the shade enjoying the beautiful view. The kitchen is well furnished and has the little extras that you wouldn't even think about bringing (scissors and pens). The beds slept great and there were even extra fans provided in the rooms. Appreciated the quick response when we had questions."

Had a fantastic time the house was awesome. Slept 10 of us with no problems. Went swimming everyday, played games every night plenty of room at the tables inside and out to fit all of the adults. If we get the chance to come back to the lake will rent this place again!

The house could be in a better spot. My uncle lives right across the cove. The overall feel of house was nice. Downstairs room were nice. The loft bedroom upstairs was little bit snug with the steep stairs makes it harder on older ones. The deck outside as well as the dock were perfect. Including the use of the kayaks.

Had a wonderful time with my family. The house was clean and ready for us. We did bring our pontoon to be able to get the full effect of the lake. . The family enjoyed kayaking, swimming, fishing and each other. Would love to come back again.

Had a fun-filled weekend at this lake house! From check-in to check-out the host was responsive, clear in expectations and kind. House was beautiful, comfortably slept 6 girls (with room for more). Great location, beautiful doc and mid-west friendly neighbors. Would visit again!

10 of us take a girl's trip to the lake every year and we have had our share of bad properties we've stayed at, this was not one of them! Plenty of room for 10 adults to sleep comfortably. The loft area was VERY hot and muggy when we arrived but hours after we turned the AC on, got some fans going, it did cool off enough to sleep. Great location on the lake, easy for water taxis to find. The house does have well water so be prepared to buy bottled water, and bring your own ice. Light switches were labeled, travel size toiletries were provided, lifejackets, games, etc. Rick was quick to respond to any of my questions before and during the trip. Thank you Rick for your help and doing the opposite of a rain dance so we had sunshine all weekend!

The property was very nice and was as described. Yes, it is very steep, but that is very common when it comes to property in this area. I thought it was well maintained with several nice updates. Rick was great to get right back with me anytime I had a question.

The house was very clean and accommodating! AC worked perfect, kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms had very nice sheets, bathrooms were clean, good water pressure, outside deck and dock areas were perfect! Kayaks were an added bonus! We brought a Lilly Pad and it was perfect for the kiddos! We watched lots of fireworks from the dock every night! Thank you!!

Home was clean and fresh, pictures didn’t do it justice. Had a little trouble checking in but the manager was very responsive and helpful. The way the kayaks are stored made it a little hard to get them down and put them away, but it was wonderful getting to check out the lake! Would definitely stay there again!!!
