The location and extra bunk bed made a huge difference for us. Our young children ran around the back yard. This was exactly what we needed. Beds were comfortable. There are a few drawbacks, which taken together explained the lower price and none are show stoppers. First, there are little patch up jobs that could be fixed, namely a cable plate hole in the wall that should be replaced with a solid plate. Additional grout or caulk to clean up the details and gaps in floor tiles, and when the A/C was not going there was a slight musty smell. The neighbors were fairly noisy on the weekend nights. Otherwise, it was perfect for our family. I would definitely rent again if it is available the next time we get down to Texas!

House needs a good cleaning and a few upgrades
We drove in to Texas from North Carolina which took us a good 16 hours. We actually arrived early to the rental so we parked outside at about 7:30 in the morning. When we arrived we contacted the Owner letting them know that we had arrived early and if it was OK for us to enter the property early due to us driving all night and being extremely exhausted. When I spoke to Roslyn, she mentioned to me that her husband was the one who ran the property and she would contact him to see if it was OK for us to enter. At that point I had already tried to contact them through the app in which no one was responding. I then had to call the Roslyn back to find out if she had gotten a hold of her husband because I still had not been contacted back with an answer. She then proceeded to tell me that check in is at 4 PM and that we were not able to enter until the cleaning crew was done with the property. She did mention that she was trying to get a hold of her husband but he was not answering. We later found out that he was in a meeting which delayed us getting the code to enter. We were parked outside from 10:30AM until 2:45PM in which no cleaning crew arrived like we were told.
The house needs a lot of love done to it. There are cobwebs all over the place, the backs of the TVs were extremely dusty, the bathrooms needed to be swept and mopped, as well as the bedrooms and the rest of the house (I took pictures). I couldn’t find the broom anywhere, there was no mop around, and we were unable to locate the TV remote for the living room. We later found it in one of the back rooms in which did not have a TV so we knew the remote didn’t belong there. The TV in the living room is extremely low, it was at 100 and we were still unable to hear it.
Overall we had a good stay, the house was the perfect size for us all, and my brothers all enjoyed having their own rooms. The house has so many beds (6 twins & 2 Queens). The patio area in the back has shade back there with a lot of trees. They could possible put a few fun stuff back there for BBQ nights like cornhole, a hammock, things like that. There was nothing but a table and chairs out there. The BBQ grill was extremely dirty in which I would not use at all. There was nothing to clean that with as well.

The house was comfortable/clean and in a good location in Garland.
The refrigerator/freezer did not work. Left 2 messages with no return call.
I did get ahold of someone on my 3rd try. Maintenance came. Refrigerator did not work 2 days later.
Toilet in the master bedroom was not anchored down/rocked.

Had a good stay at this property. The location was great and close to everything, 51 minutes from DFW. They have everything you need; you don’t have to bring a thing. Kitchen pots, pans, and dishes were great, even had coffee for us to have on the first morning. Towels & bed linens were good and a new washer/dryer. The back yard had a nice table/chairs and BBQ grill, even heard a Mariachi band on Friday night. Cons: This house needs a deep cleaning, the bathroom cabinets, floor, shower and baseboards are nasty. ALL of the beds are cheap and very uncomfortable, in fact in the front room my friend almost fell through the top bunk on to my head as I slept and the bottom bunk has a deep hole on the left side.

Convenient Location
This Garland home's location is great. It's close to restaurants, DFW airport and other Dallas suburbs. The house could have been cleaner but it was comfortable and my group of five adults had plenty of room.

Nice alternative
It’s an older house in an older neighborhood, so the house has the quirks you would expect. Owner was very conscientious on taking care of anything that arose, though. (Slow shower drain, e.g.) He had someone there to take care of the problem very quickly. All in all, a nicer, more relaxed setting than a hotel room.

Nice house
Overall, our stay was great. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. The one minor issue was the bed in the room with the bunks. It is a double, not a queen, and it squeaks when you roll over. Otherwise, everything was fine.

OUTSTANDING place!!!
This house was EXACTLY what my friends and I were looking for when we planned a boy's trip to Dallas. Clean, comfortable house with plenty of space for us to grill, hang out inside, and get in and out of the city easily. Would recommend to anyone heading to the Dallas area!

This place was amazing. The accommodations were perfect
In and my family loved this place. The area was very quite. The space looks small but very roomy for 8 person. I mean everything about it was what I was looking for, and the cleanliness was 100. If I had to say dislike, it would be check out at 10 a.m was to early. 11 or 12 is what I would say is a fare time for checkout. Just felt rushed to get up, get breakfast or to get everything together. Would o recommend and stay again. MIST DEFINITELY, thank you all for sharing your home.
