The cabin was perfect. Communications with Trevor were great. He was always responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. The cabin was well stocked. Since linens are not provided we took sleeping bags which worked well. There is ice for sale on the premises. There is a trash dumpster. Very well thought out setup. The front porch was furnished and cabin 2 was perfect for watching the sunrise over the lake. Our only issue was the address in VRBO is incorrect so we had trouble finding the cabins. Apparently the town changed the addresses. Trevor answered promptly and gave us the correct address so it was only a minor issue.

Dillenbeck Cabins are excellent. They're 'rustic' (lots of wood, built by Amish carpenters - it's a cabin not a hotel) but practically new and immaculately clean. The heating is excellent and the cabin comes with all the kitchen. You need to bring linens/blankets and towels but that just makes it feel more homelike. Soap, garbage bags, toilet tissue, washing-up items are provided. There's a boat launch very close, restaurants and grocers 10-20 mins away (we didn't go, that's ours and Google's estimate), and many state parks the same distance. There's a fire pit, porch, and chairs for each cabin. Trever, the owner and manager, is extremely responsive. There are 5 cabins, they're set back from the road and quiet. The area immediately surrounding the cabins isn't beautiful, there are some construction machines, but several beautiful parks are 10-30 minutes away, and the porches and fire pits face the lake so we didn't find it a problem. Our trip was great and we would absolutely stay here again.

Very cute rustic property. I was unaware that we needed to supply sheets but the property manager helped us with that. Manager was polite and tried hard. We made a last minute reservation after the eclipse, so i appreciated anything they could do for us since the whole region had no had a chance to recover from so many visitors. But there was zero evidence that anyone might have been there hours before. Not fancy but new, clean, well built and well equipped.

No answer to my email on how to get a key. Rather anxious about that since no management is on site.

I’m here for a wedding and needed a quiet place.
The cabins meet expectations, and are close to the wedding without New York pricing.

Spent 4 days at Dillenback Cabins and have nothing but great things to say about the place and owner. Conveniently located across from a boat ramp. Great parking and privacy for my boat. Cabin was clean and cool inside. Trevor checked in on us making sure we had everything we need! Definitely will be back!

We stayed at this property since it was in a perfect location for us after visiting the Lake Champlain islands. This is a new cabin, clean, and more than adequate for our overnight stay while on our way to Quebec. Other than having to bring our own sheets, blankets, and towels, it offered everything we needed. Trever answered our inquiries quickly. We cooked our dinner and our next-morning breakfast on site. Note that it seemed that the renters of the other cabins were boaters who fished in the lake. We were very happy with our choice of this property.

John Joey and I were very happy we picked Trevor's CABINS for our stay. We were so happy to have met him and find out he was friends with the person who's celebration of life we were attending. Next year 4 of our friends will be staying at cabins!

I had been camping all week so wanted something minimal to clean up before a memorial (I'm originally from this area). These cabins exceeded my expectations. I loved this property so much....I only wish my stay were longer.

Simply Beautiful
First time in the Lake Champlain area, will not be my last. These cabins are simple, well built ( by the Amish !) and the owner is a wonderful, responsive and attentive human being. Property is well kept and clean. I love the actual wood smell inside ( real wood is such a novelty these days !) I love that no linens are provided because I typically travel with my own and usually have to find places to store what provided. My Mom and I came up with 3 dogs for New Year weekend, we cooked and ate and took long rides. One of the dogs got lost for 3.5 days after taking off after a deer and the entire town showed up for us with positivity and help. I will always love this little town of Alburgh for their generosity and compassion. Dillenbeck Bay Cabins are the cherry on top of the sundae here, well the hot fudge because that's the best part ! Definitely coming back in warmer weather ! Thank you Trever !

What a cabin should be like on Champlain
This is my second time staying there. First time was for a week of fishing early this year Trevor is very accommodating with your arrival times and departure times he willing to help as in getting us firewood yes they have fire rings in a gas grill to grill on outside besides the kitchenette I plan on making this my place to go every year to fish and stay to visit my relatives up there.

Very pretty and clean property, nicely stocked with everything you need to cook. Lots of windows to open so breeze off the water could be inside. Nice front porch to sit on.
I recommend a night light inside or small lamp since it gets so dark and a night light is useful when you get up at night. Ok

Hidden Gem
This stay was what we needed after driving so far. A perfect little gem 💎. I loved everything about this place, I wouldn't recommend a thing to change it is perfect just how it is. Trever was awesome! We will be booking again for a longer stay next time. Thank you for this cute cabin.

Cabin with Porch
This is a small new cabin that has the basics plus AC. Beds are comfortable, shower has hot water, internet works but a tad slow, stove has four burners and a small efficient oven, and gas grill is ready to use. Very convenient for fishing.

Great Stay With Over the Top Help
Not only was the property great, but Trever really got me out of a jam. I had car trouble when I was about 5 minutes away and needed a tow truck. Trever got me a tow in less than 10 minutes. Trever went above and beyond. I live in one of the biggest cities in the country and I have never gotten a tow so quickly. Vermont treated me well!!!

Just what we needed
We were looking to go a bit 'off the beaten path' and these quiet cabins are just what we needed.
Brand new, with everything you would need. Fire pit and grill out front (firewood available for sale at the office), and the peace and quiet all around you.
The water pressure and temperature were great, and we slept very comfortably each night. We weren't in the cabin much, except to sleep, because there is so much to do around you.
We spent the days walking the trails at the wildlife refuges close to the cabins. One day we drove to Shelburne to hit the Shelburne Museum (recommended!).
So many great places to eat (Blue Paddle Bistro was phenomenal), or you can cook in your kitchen (or grill) at the cabin--as we did on our last night.
It you are looking for a peaceful getaway in very beautiful countryside, then look no further. There is a boat launch right across the street, and many folks had their boats with them, too.

Perfect up to date cottage but still has the cabin cottage feel. Trevor was available for anything. Boat ramp was directly across the street. We plan on staying there again!

Ideal fishing get-away
Trever was great, the cabin was spotless, and my fiancé and I had a blast for a long weekend. Trever has put a lot of thought and detail into the property to ensure his guests have all they need and want for a great fishing trip! I’m looking forward to many more trips as well as my wedding!
