Famagusta best place to stay

From start to finish we had a wonderful time . Manager and the owner were both friendly , knowledgeable and treated us like King and Queen . Great location inside Famagusta old walls and situated in a charming garden . Some of the old charm has been preserved in the main house with the separate guest rooms being large, stylish and very comfortable . Breakfast was lush with stuffed pancakes , halloumi , salad , eggs cooked in different ways , toast and homemade jam and marmalade and homemade cake ! Just brilliant all round ..

Fabulous, recommended, great staff man, lovely wee hideaway and splendidly presented.

Great chilled laid back feel, ideal situation and of all the hosts, staff, helpers, spongers etc we encountered on this trip. The guy Lafal (sorry for spelling), who is an overseas student was absolutely fabulous and couldnt do enough to assist. A real credit to himself and the establishment.

Too much food in the breakfast, couldnt eat it all so wasted some.

A great place to stay in the heart of the Walled city. Spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet room with a separate entrance. Helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. In a word - a great place to get to know the Walled Gazimagusa.

Everything! nice staff, great location, clean rooms, excellent service, plus I'd like to point out how nice and polite the waiters are. There are beautiful flowers and plants in the garden where breakfast is served. Breakfast is good and abundant, plus they change it a little every day.

I liked everything, but I think it's always helpful to give some negative but constructive feedback. When I sent some emails before my arrival asking for help, I only got a reply to one of them. Perhaps there was a miscommunication because the staff are very good.... who knows what happened! We had a wonderful stay! Thanks

It’s a beautiful guest house with garden, rooms are spacious and clean. AC works perfectly and the breakfast is excellent. Hosts are very attentive and we loved out stay.

Gorgeous guest house in the centre of the old town

Great location in middle of old town; walking distance to all the sights and cute restaurants/bars. Gorgeous view of nearby mosque. Yummy traditional Turkish breakfast every morning and the evenings were nice and quiet and peaceful. Staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault a thing.

the property was amazing a little gem in the middle of the old town Famagusta the property was very clean and the staff and owners were so helpful they couldn’t do enough for you the complimentary breakfast was very good so much food you didn’t need lunch I would stay here again as it’s so reasonable

-the location is more than central, garden view exactly on the Cathedral -amazing atmosphere in the garden, flowers, cats, quiet -well furnished bedroom, comfy beds, very quiet at all times -kind and helpful host

Where to start?!!! I had an amazing stay at Golden Palms Guest House for 3 nights, it was absolutely the rightest choice in Famagusta (Gazimağusa). The location was excellent: it is in the middle of the old town - surrounded by historical places, cafes, bars, shops, etc. The room was spacious with all the facilities I needed, and the view from the room was one of the highlights. Most importantly, there was such a friendly atmosphere in the hotel that I never felt that I was traveling alone. MANY thanks to Mr. Ertunç and the rest of the staff for their outstanding hospitality! Highly recommended - if you come to Famagusta, choose here!

Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Farmagusta

Amazing location in the heart of the old Farmagusta fort. Well maintained with an abundance of plants on the property. The host was very friendly and welcoming, prior communication before our visit was second to none. Only point to note you have to pay cash which we we were not aware, apparently it’s in very small text on the booking.com but we did not see it. There is a ATM 4 minutes from the guesthouse so no problem. Once the owner explained the reason why it’s cash only I totally agree with his reason. Free public parking across the street. Simple breakfast but very nice. We would definitely recommend this place and we are already planning our next stay.
