I booked this trip at the last minute so my expectations of finding a 5 Star cabin was very low. Well this cabin sure lived up to those expectations… The cabin itself could use a complete renovation..The interior wasn’t clean and the furniture looked like it came from the trash bin at Goodwill… I wont be returning..

Overall the stay was amazing!! We loved the area and the many outdoor activities that it had to offer. However, there was absolutely NO communication between myself and the owner. When we arrived, we had stopped and purchased around $300 worth of groceries.. according to the homes manuel, it could take several hours for the refrigerator to cool off. Great! No problem.. until the next morning when all the meats, dairy and ice cream was completely ruined. I emailed the owner at 8:30am the next morning that the refrigerator was not working… NEVER heard a single word from them. We did however have a gentleman show up around 2pm or so… I was out buying more food for us. He stated he had told the owner the refrigerator needed to be replaced 2 weeks back… We will be back but will find another cabin to rent.

This place is nothing like the pictures. So dusty and dirty that the kid’s feet were black running around inside without shoes. So many Knick knack items that are collecting dust. The couches were so old, dirty and had holes. I do not think the outer layers on the bed had been washed as they were very musty!! The managing company was not accommodating and took forever to answer emails. We qualified for a discount and they made us jump through hoops and we still did not get the discount.

Cabin is to old. It didn’t have dishwasher. Everything was dirty like couch, bed sheets, comforter. In kitchen all the dishes and kitchen supplies were dirty. We couldn’t even sleep at night because of the rat sound continuously all night. This sound was coming from somewhere upstairs. All the towels and napkins were not washed and that smells bad. It didn’t have body wash or shampoo. We didn’t even get hot water in the shower after one person took shower. It was licking in bathroom downstairs if someone take shower in upstairs bathroom. It didn’t have trash bag either. Our experience was horrible. Bot recommended.

I have feedback for the cabin - Cherokee Fiddle Family Cabin that we stayed on Nov 4 th to Nov 6th 2022
The cabin was dirty and unclean
Unit Name: Cherokee Fiddle Family Cabin
Property ID 1831596
Feedback:
1. Locks for the downstairs bathroom and bedroom were not working
2. Recliner, Couch, outdoor sitting area, basically all the furniture were outdated, broken, oily and dirty. I have taken pictures. I hope I was able to post it here.
2. The downstairs bathroom had a water leak from the roof. It was leaking from the upstairs bathroom, yuk
4. Grill was not electric and outside, since it was raining, we could not grill
5. Pans we used were oily and full of dust, so we had to wash it once before using it.
6. The pool table outside was broken and super dirty, we were not able to use it.
7. The sunroom area was so dusty and unclean, we never went there
8. The cleaning ladies arrived early before our check out time and were acting so rude, as if we were staying for free
9. All the pictures available on the vrbo site are outdated, they should post real pictures.
10. There was no Dishwasher
11. No toilet paper, we tried calling on the helpline number but nobody responded
Overall we were not happy with our stay.

Spring Break in Broken Bow
The property was lovely, but there was definite scrutiny for check-in. Sent a message to the owner that my 75yo mother & 10yo twins made it an hour early but that we never got the cabin code in an email. Got a quick response back that I need to wait an hour and look at my emails, again, for the code. Nice. Had to call the company Vrbo to have them resubmit code to get in. Insanely Rude!! We waited the hour to be honest to the rental agreement, but definitely renting from another family, next time. Sad that people act like that, but we enjoyed our time and came back with happy memories.
Cabin has settling to the floor, cabins, and doors so a lot of places won’t shut or stick on opening. Could have used more toilet paper, towels and the back screen door to the cabin doesn’t lock at all. Don’t bring a boat; there’s no parking unless it’s a jet ski.

This cabin is cramped with clutter and stinks of mold. The cabin has an odor of mold, body odor, toilet bowl odor and roach traps
It was just disappointing. All the beddings were old and stunk. The bed was god awful. All the furnishings were broken and old. The pictures were very deceiving. Need to be accurate and show how run down it is Had just enough towels for two people. Had to keep washing dishes and clothes No dishwasher. A omega full of clutter. It was not a clean cabin Old food and coffee out that was molded I will never stay at that cabin again or rent from kiamichi cabins. Pictures are doctored

Perfect Escape
We had a great time exploring and hiking through the Park and a great relaxing time when we were back at the cabin. Perfect quiet escape from our busy schedule.

Very nice place but...
We picked this cabin because it looked like it had a nice pool table. My wife and I are avid pool players and thought a nice getaway in the woods would be great and still be able to shoot some pool. The table was terrible balls fell out and you couldn't play at all due to how unlevel the table was. They all rolled to 1 end. Other than the pool table the cabin was amazing and we had a great trip without it.

Meh
The pool table is trash. Has duck tape around it. Holding places of it in place. Not very functional. The upstairs beds are hard as a rock. There is no futon. It smells like crap... like sewer.

Misleading photos
Very dusty, dated, very dark inside, pool table is broken. I sent owner question and asked" Is pool table in unit?" Answer was "Yes". with no mention that it was broken.
We went to Booking Agent office and companied about the condition of the pool table, we were told yes owner knew the condition, what could they do?
The only reason I book this unit was for Grandson and he could not use pool tablet.
Will not book this unit again and won't use the listing agency again.

Celebrated my son's 11th Birthday
Rented the cabin to celebratemy son's 11th Birthday and explore Broken Bow lake. The cabin was spacious enough for us (2 adults 3 kids), family and visitors for the party. We had so much fun exploring the lake and the nearby attractions. We can't wait to go back!
The only down side is the cabin was a bit dusty for our liking and allergies. It could use a good deep cleaning. Other than that no complaints.

Stay 4/26
The property was clean, however it was lacking in: cooking utensils, no dishwasher, the toilets seats weren't secure, pool table was warped, and the porch roof leaked to name a few. It was not worth the $200+ per night. The house was not made very well.

Check in was easy, accomodations were as advertised, close to fishing. Would stay here again.

The cabin was good and comfortable.
Nice cabin. But the excess of articles/decorations around the house made it difficult to keep or belongings in places. Also hard to keep kids from touching them. Of traveling with kids I wouldn't suggest this cabin. We moved some of the beds upstairs just to make sure we were not leaving something behind. And the floor was very filthy. Make sure to bring towels from your place the ones here are disgusting. I give it a 7 out of 10. Couch/chair not very comfy seems like everything they have in there comes from things they want to throw away from their main home. It has all the needs just not very comfortable.

Family friendly property and location
A great location for families, especially with kids. We had four boys with us who not only enjoyed the cabin, yard and firepit, but also all the activities within a few miles radius.

Dusty Cabin
It was a great cabin. It was Well equipped with everything you need but it looked like it had never been dusted. There were dust bunnies on the ceiling and walls. Even over the bed in the master bedroom. And the furniture was somewhat broken down and uncomfortable. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Overall it was nice.

Overpriced
The home was extremely dusty. Smells like mildew. The house never stayed cool the AC needs serious upgrade. The doors were hard to open and shut. Front door had to be slammed with force in order to lock. Seriously .75cents for one log for the fire pit after paying to stay seems a bit ridiculous.

Bachelor party
It was a perfect spot for us guys to just get away and relax, great location close to all the river floating spots and tons of fun stuff to do within 10 miles including an awesome saloon less than a mile from the cabin. I will definitely be recommending to friends in the future

Family Getaway
We enjoyed this cabin very much. The setting was private and outdoorsy with all the amenities. The cabin is older and more of a cabin like in the mountains than a fancier version you see at some of the locals. We loved this place! The front porch was icing on the cake.
